I look for service, responsiveness, and most of all quality and workmanship. Dr Wheel covers all the bases. I'll be honest, I was a little suspect at first. Their process seemed a little too good to be true. After getting various quotes from a range of others, the price was all over the place from too cheap to extraordinarily expensive. Dr. Wheel is on the lower side of the equation. The other thing, they come to your house. Say what? Got me wondering how solid of a repair we were looking at. Well, once I dug into the process, saw that the work is warranted for a year, I figured I'd give them a shot. First, we had them do two aftermarket wheels which relatively minor damage. The result was pretty incredible. The wheels looked good as new and honestly, I couldn't remember where the blemishes were . Months later the wheels looked great. Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. Not that I hope to get more curb rash on any of our wheels (nor do I wish that for you!), but if we do, we will definitely go back to them. We've already referred them to a few neighbors.

Jonathan showed up promptly and got work immediately on my rim. His work and skills are impeccable. It only took him roughly about 20-25 minutes to leave my wheel looking "Good as new" for less than the cost of a new wheel. I definitely recommend Dr Wheel for your curb/parking mishaps. This is my own personal experience so don't let my review falter you from reaching out. I reached…read moreout for a dented rim repair as shown in my photos. The repair came out great and it took around two days. Tony came to my house and picked up the wheel. Unfortunately the paint correction did not match the rim and also my tire was leaking where the repair was made (it wasn't leaking even when the rim was dented). So I contacted Tony again to see what he can do. He said the paint came off the machine and that's what it analyzed it as and was willing to do it again so I said sure since the paint came out black instead of blue. He also offered to check on the tire and rebead the seal. So he picked up the wheel again, and this time it took almost two weeks to be done with the repair and this was only the tire portion. He advised that the paint correction would take another couple of days. Honestly just wanted the wheel back since I was out of a car for two weeks already and who knows how much longer it would take to get the wheel back. He came and dropped it off and installed the wheel and the tire is holding air for now, but he did recommend me to just get a new tire if it leaks again which I will do. This time though, when I got the wheel back, it had a new chip near the center which wasn't there before from the original pick up nor the first repair. As far as value and convenience of picking up and delivering goes, I'd say it's fair and beats the competitors. Otherwise, I wasn't too thrilled about the repair. Update: Bumped up one star since tire repairs aren't part of their job description and Tony went out of his way to do it. Leaving it 3 stars due to paint issues and poor communication where I have to ask for updates every couple of days.

Jaime and Jesus handled the installation of the air handler, ductwork, and heat pump. They worked hard, were very respectful of our home, kept things clean, and honestly were much quieter doing the work than I expected considering all the cutting and installation involved. They also worked hard to finish ahead of the timeline they originally gave us. Inspection passed with no issues, and now we've been using the AC for months with zero problems. Overall, we're really happy with the work and would definitely recommend them.

I went in a day after one of my tires was patched. Due to other tires needed to be replaced. I was welcomed alright. Was told that the said tires needed replacement. I was given a price, two seconds later I was given another. It was added a Third. Was it the brand of the car? Was it that I am a female? I was asked if I wanted the tires at the added price. So I said yes, before you add another hundred to the amount per tire. I heard the same person that helped me giving a discount right off the bat to a customer. I have been going there for more than a decade. Don't I deserve a "discount". After my complaint to the cashier. I was told by the first person that helped. That if I give a good review on yelp I was going to get a 5dollar discount. I believe that my integrity has way more value than 5 dollar discount. I know tires are expensive. I don't want anything free. Don't tell me one price and suddenly change it. Get educated on how to deal with situations that may be less than wonderful. Treat everyone the same. !!!!!! Educate yourself. You are not the only place in town. I go there out of habit and because other employees have been great. read more

On 3/29/21 I needed to get 4 Nexen Roadian HTX RH5 245/60R18 105H on my SUV before April 1. No only did the quote beat all others in a 15 mile radius of Hawthorne, but given my extremely limited time during a work day, I asked for a time slot and quick turn around. After deposit, tires were confirmed available for next am to shop, and ordered for next day. I drove in at time requested & within first 30 secs, car up on the lift. They attended to the replacement like an Indy Pit Crew!! In and out in under 30 mins!! Both Fernando and Nestor couldn't have made my visit more seamless and pleasant!! I have used Pacific Tire Service twice and both times it was a quick and easy fix...on both by tires and the checkbook. I initially stopped by PepBoys but they said they couldn't help me, and referred me to Pacific Tire Service...and I'm glad they did. They carry both used and new tires and both times was cheaper than what I would have spent at PepBoys (I checked out how much their cost was after). I came in wanting to get my tire plugged but after Hector took a look, he said I was better off getting a new or used tired. He explained to me that my tire was warped and not good anymore. When I went back to explain the situation and ask about it, instead of taking responsibility or trying to resolve the issue, they told me that I should have taken the car to the Tesla dealership first before coming to them. Very disappointing customer service. We paid for a service that was not done correctly and then had to pay even more to fix their mistake. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience.
