Met a friend for lunch here a week or so ago. I've been there a couple times before and the food is always fresh and yummy! They weren't so busy so they were nice enough to accommodate us moving to another table that was better suited for us. We shared some tea and each of us ordered off their lunch menu which included a soup and egg rolls. My friend ordered some additional items, including a papaya salad and a Tom Ka soup. The restaurant is nice, well lit, and open. I look forward to eating there again soon and wish I lived closer to that location because I'd probably be going more often!

We've been coming to Green Mango since they first opened, and the food has always been consistently delicious. This visit we had the Tom Kha with tofu (my favorite Tom Kha from any restaurant), the veggie dumplings, and the cashew chicken--all were excellent. They've also updated the interior, creating a relaxing, beautiful atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable.

WOW if you have not visited Austin Four Points Green Mango in a minute you are missing out. Total redo of the interior decor and upgrades to their already amazing Thai offerings. Consistently excellent service ...expect to be greeted with a big smile when you return

If this was close to my home I'd be here everyday! It was absolutely fantastic! I'm still thinking about the appetizer plate, it was so filling that I barely touched my main and packed most of it for home where it was devoured by my mil. The sampler had a ton of variety and they quickly replaced the pork option with vegetarian ones which was great as I only eat halal and they served halal chicken which is rare in Austin. Every single thing we tried from the egg rolls to the crepe cake to the pad ke Mao was excellent and full of flavor. We went around 8pm so the heat had cooled down and we were able to sit outside in the nice breeze and fairy lights. Can't wait to be back!

This has to be the best pad Thai I have tried and the excitement I have knowing it's just down the street is dangerous! I have ordered their pad Thai 4 times in the last 2 weeks. So yummy! I haven't eaten inside yet and have only ordered to go or through a food delivery service, but the food has been spot on every time! It looks to have a playscape in the back for kids wanting to play and the location is great because it's not part of the busier section of stores further down the parking lot. I can't wait to stop in and eat there some time.

Sampler platter. Lots of delicious sauces to dip in.

It was a beautiful, cool evening and I met my friend at this restaurant as it is about half way between our respective homes. We decided to take advantage of being able to sit outside before the heat descends on us until Thanksgiving. The service was very good and informative. We split a sampler platter and each had salads. The prices were reasonable and the food was flavorful and fresh. You can't see this restaurant from the road, but I highly suggest you seek it out. Delicious! Happy dining!

I had the cashew chicken lunch special. The flavor was good, but the food was a little cold when it came out.

Green Mango is a great Thai restaurant out near 620 and 2222. It is in a shopping center with lots of stores and restaurants kind of on the southwest end. They have a specific lunch menu, which is excellent as well as a full dinner menu. There's also a bar and a lot of outdoor seating which is very nice if it is not too hot. Every time I come here, the food has been great, and the servers are fantastic. It's best to come with a few people so that you can try multiple dishes. The Pad Thai is excellent as are the curries that I've had. Next time I will try the Thai fried rice. It's well worth the trip here even if you do not live nearby.

Excellent service, tasty food, and very toddler-friendly! There's a small outdoor playground that's perfect for keeping little ones entertained. Like many places now, they use the portable Toast POS system for payments. What really stood out to me was how the server stepped away during the tipping screen, giving us space and privacy to complete the transaction -- such a thoughtful touch. Thank you for a great experience! We'll definitely be back.

Patio seating on the side, but it's only 50 or so outside. We ordered the pad Thai with tofu, hot, with coconut soup and Pad Kra Prow with steamed tofu, hot with miso soup. $31.40 Their lunch meal with an entree order comes with soup: coconut or miso and two spring rolls and small side salad. The spring rolls are super skinny and had a bit of cabbage and carrots, nice and crispy at least. The coconut soup comes with chunks of chicken, mushroom and lemongrass, it's okay. The miso is average as well. We would have considered the papaya salad but it has shrimp and sounds like it might be too fishy from the sauce for my husband's taste. The pad Thai lunch portion looks about half of the dinner portion and looks appropriately sized. The pad Thai is quite mushy the more I think about it. The noodles are way overcooked and it's so-so. The pad kra prow portion looks quite small, maybe 1/4 or 1/3 of a dinner portion. Could have given maybe 3-4 more forks of food for this lunch time version. The sauce is quite hot, it's significantly spicier than the pad Thai in fact. It has good flavor anyways. This dish was better than their pad Thai, which is usually hard to mess up. We will be hungry for dinner in a couple of hours for sure at this small portion for lunch.

After landing in San Antonio yesterday to kick off my summer vacation, the very first thing I did…read moretoday was ask my friend to bring me back to this restaurant. The reason is simple: we ate here two years ago, and it left such a great impression on us that we had been looking forward to coming back ever since. Fortunately, not much has changed in terms of either the quality or the overall presentation of the food. Everything is still delicious, especially the Pho Combo. To be honest, it's far better than most of the pho we've had in Germany. That doesn't mean the pho in Germany is bad--it simply means this place matches my personal taste much better. As for the downsides, they're almost exactly the same as before. Parking is still a major challenge, and I understand that's probably not something the restaurant can easily fix. We also tried calling ahead to reserve a table, but they don't take reservations, whether you're coming with a group of 5-7 people or just 2-3 people. We arrived at 6:45 PM and still had to wait about 40 minutes before being seated, which was honestly quite inconvenient. Coincidentally, there was live music tonight, which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the sound system wasn't very good, so it was difficult to hear what the singers were performing. Then again, this isn't really the type of venue where people come specifically to enjoy live music, so most diners didn't seem to pay much attention to it. One thing I did notice was that either the kitchen has made a few changes over the past two years, or perhaps my own taste has changed a little. The food felt slightly saltier than I remembered, and the pho broth was richer and creamier. While that added some depth of flavor, it was a bit too rich for my liking, to the point where finishing the entire bowl of broth felt a little overwhelming. The braised short ribs were incredibly tender--so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary, and they could easily be pulled apart with just a fork. While many people would probably see that as a positive, I actually missed the slightly firmer, meatier texture I remembered from my last visit. That said, these are relatively minor issues. The quality may have dipped just a little compared to our previous visit, but this is still an excellent restaurant. If they can fine-tune those small details, it would easily return to being one of my favorite places. There's a good chance we'll stop by one more time before heading back to Germany.

Is it that time of year for another 1618 update? Absolutely…read more After my umpteenth visit, I think it's safe to say I've worked my way through almost the entire menu (minus a few noodle, chicken & vegetarian dishes). My 2025 review still stands, but after so many visits, I've noticed a few items haven't been good as they used to, particularly the chicken wings (and yes, all three of them). The Garlic Wings haven't been hitting quite the same. They've started to taste a little dry, and the saucier wings taste better the next day since they don't have time to steep through once served. The Filet Mignon Pepper Steak is still my favorite dish on the menu, but I still can't justify ordering it family-style anymore. It's delicious, but the portion just doesn't match the price. One of the newest additions--the Truffle Fried Rice is spectacular. It's light, not overpowering with truffle, and the fish eggs really adds the perfect little pop of texture/flavor. I don't think I breathed the entire time I scarfed it down!! 1618 is still one of my favorite restaurants in Austin of all time, but I think it's time for the menu to elevate a bit and dive deeper into less mainstream Asian cuisine. If anyone can do it, 1618 can.

The restaurant itself has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. It seems like a nice place to have a meal. Pad see ew with chicken - I liked their version and would probably get it again. Pad woon sen with pork - typically my favorite noodle dish and I think they did a good job. Garden roll - good but not as packed as others I've had, and at a higher price point. Pineapple fried rice with pork - I liked this but was a bit on the oily side. Tom kha soup - I thought this was very good and had a decent amount of chicken and mushrooms Overall I liked everything but some items I felt I had better versions of elsewhere. It's also on the pricier side. Still, if in central Austin I think it's a solid choice for Thai food.
