Friendly, professional service, this place seems to be getting more traction in the area. When your looking for some take out they in the area I would highly recommend them. We stopped in for late lunch a few weeks ago, it's a small restaurant but we were able to sit right away. We ordered the spring rolls and dumplings which were both good. We both had the nam too with sticky rice for entree, we asked for it hot and they did not disappoint. The food was excellent and we will be back again when we are in the Albany area again. read more

Food (4/5) Really delicious meals- we ordered basil fried rice with beef (hot) and pad Thai with chicken (very hot), shrimp with basil garlic sauce (hot), mixed vegetables with peanut (hot) sauce. There was no distinction between hot and very hot, could have been spicier. However all parties enjoyed their meals. I would have liked the beef to have less fat on the pieces but the fried rice was very well flavored. The chicken in the pad Thai wasn't very flavorful and a little rubbery but the pad Thai noodles were great. Ambience: colorful plastic chairs that aren't the most comfortable but gave the place a fun vibe. Beautiful pictures adorning the walls. It seems like it's mostly a take out restaurant, there were a ton of pick ups but only one other party actually sitting down for their meals. They were really busy with all their online orders so a little slow in getting to the people eating in. But overall I would recommend and visit again if I'm ever in Albany. read more

We decided to try this place tonight. Four of us ordered- curry with shrimp, chicken pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, samosas, chicken wings and Thai iced tea. We all were extremely impressed with this food. It was delicious and they provide a lot of food. We all shared and there was enough food to go around. We ordered on Maeleo and it took 30minutes from ordering to delivery. We were very impressed. We will definitely order from here again. read more

I guess I should have known from the name, but this place seems to have dug into the garbage and thrown trash on a plate. I have never had more disgusting, oily, bland food in my life, despite asking for Thai spicy. Literal top ramen noodles & some sauce made with corn syrup and god knows what else. Steamed dumplings were so soggy they fell apart. Tofu rolls were bigger around than my wrist and tasted like bleach. Avoid this place at all costs unless you like eating trash! read more

So I picked this place because I really was craving Thai and it's literally around the corner from my house. I ordered for pick up a Basil Fried Rice (Kee Mao). Now although they messed up my order ( I asked for no onions and it was filled with onions) it didn't matter once I tasted it. It was delicious - the rice was spicy but with a hint of sweet flavor. I actually took the time to pick out the onions so I could enjoy the whole dish. The flavor was just so complex and so delicious. I feel like I want to order another one! read more

Enjoyed this little spot for lunch. Most Thai spots are the same everywhere you go. Biggest difference here, the Chicken Tom Yum. Most Tom Yums chicken comes out like rubber as it's been over cooked or warmed up. This chicken was tender and flavorful and the soup was spot on with heat. Little heavier fish sauce in this one but not overpowering. I get Tom Yum every time and have a lot to compare and definitely put this one in my top 3. Enjoy! read more

This place was awesome! Got some fresh rolls, Tom kar soup, green curry, massaman curry and it was all very delicious! (My favorite was actually the Tom kar) they were open late on a Monday night when most other restaurants were closed and our server (her Name is Ploy?) was very very nice. Chicken popcorn is delicious since they use Japanese Panko bread crumbs and their Chicken Pad Thai is as good as the one I reviewed for Sweet Basil. Except here they include egg, peanuts, very small amount cilantro for color, and you can choose the spiciness of the chicken. They also are ready in 5-10 min when you order take out. The place is very small and very clean and the food is very good. In fact I have ordered from them 4 times in less than 2 weeks and I rarely eat out because of strict diet and workout, but I make sacrifices for this when a craving kicks in every few days. read more

Stopped in for lunch. Parking is limited and it is a small place. But so glad we tried it. They have a $10 lunch special. Comes with a little salad with a nice light dressing. Then choice of spring roll or chicken dumplings. The chicken dumplings were the best I have ever had. Then you can choose from 10-15 entrees off the menu adding veggies, tofu or chicken. I chose the Pad Thai due to the name of the restaurant. You also get to decide on the spice level, I picked HOT. It was as ordered, made your lips tingle. The BEST pad thai in the Capital Region. Each bite is flavorful and delicious. Tastes better than any other thai restaurant in the area, i think because the crumbled peanuts on top add to the texture and the flavors are all more distinctive than other thai restaurants. You can choose your spice level, but even if you choose mild it tastes amazing. I've also tried some other dishes including the thai beef noodle bowel - tastes like pho but richer and the beef is extremely tender. If you order the curry, the rice comes in a cute heart shape. As for appetizers, I've had the crab rangoons, the thai chicken wings, and the chicken gyoza. The crab rangoons are always good - crispy and decent sized. They also have crab, and aren't just filled with cream cheese like what happens at other restaurants. The chicken wings are crispy on the outside and they sprinkle some crispy garlic over it. Chicken gyoza are crispy and comes with a good sweet and sour type sauce. Honestly, everything is really, really tasty, so you can't go wrong whatever you choose. The shop is small but the colorful chairs and thai movie posters makes it cute and cozy. The delivery always comes VERY quickly. You won't be disappointed! Definitely order from here! read more
