Fried fish. Oil bath breading peeled right off.

I hate to leave bad reviews. Look at my history but this takes the cake. Service was mid at best. Food was really really bad. It's not often you walk out of a place and feel gross. Sorry. Looked great when served but maybe the oil was not hot. But. Gross. Sorry.

Service was friendly but very very slow. We went in for brunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a good drink menu and it's a pretty big place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We only saw our waitress twice. I had to ask others for refills.

My delicious 1 pound strip steak and baked potato with its $5 of fully loading.

Fridays is (are?) Steak Night(s) and Steak Nights are great nights! This location is just a block from the historic area, and there is plenty of parking nearby. Like I mentioned, Friday night is steak night. They wheel a cart to your table with large hunks of sirloin and strip steak. You get to tell them how big a hunk you want cut off, and they charge you $ 2 per ounce for the piece you select. However, there's a trick to picking your piece. If you want a reasonable portion, like 8 ounces, then the resulting cut is very thin and may be a bit dry when they cook it. I got about 1" of strip steak, about 1 pound, and it was cooked to perfection. However, that's a lot of meat. I suggest splitting a single steak between two people, so you get the benefit of thickness and avoid, at least to some extent, heart disease. Anyway, the resulting steak was seasoned perfectly and cooked to a perfect medium doneness. It was delicious and tastier than a steak I had a few days later from Capitol Grill, which cost about twice as much. The waitress told me the steak comes with two sides. I had a salad and a baked potato. She asked if I wanted the potato "fully loaded," with bacon and sour cream, and I said, "sure." However, she forgot to point out that "sure" cost me an extra $5. No complaints because it made the potato taste even better, and I just wish she had mentioned that when I ordered. Otherwise, it was a fun experience and a great dining value. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space was clean, the staff was friendly, and the WiFi was excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll come back here the next time I'm in town, even if it isn't steak night.

First time here. Stop by for lunch and Caroline was our waitress. She was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat in the bar area and it was open with TV's on every wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was great with reasonable portions. We tried the fries pickles, Ruben sandwich, and the Irish nachos. The fried pickles were great, but could only eat just the pickles after a bit. The batter was good but I can't eat too much fried foods. The Ruben was great and the homemade chips were delicious. The nachos were excellent. Had lots of toppings. Great place and will try more items next visit.

Good food and atmosphere. The batter on the fish and chips was light and tasty, but still had an Irish flare.

Paddy's is a laid back pub with a decent menu and a fair selection of beer on tap.

Our waitress brought over menus and asked for drink orders shortly thereafter, and also filled us in on their monthly specials. After taking a look at the menu, their wraps caught my eye. I ended up going for the Southwest chicken wrap, which came with grilled chicken tossed in buffalo ranch sauce, lettuce, and tomato. It was absolutely delicious. The wraps come with a side, so I went with the homemade coleslaw. My friend got the buffalo chicken wrap (made with chicken tenders) and that was also very good. Overall, great food and service. The only thing I didn't like was that there a ton of flies outside. I wish they had one of those UV light bug traps so clients could eat in peace.

My interpretation of the gist of what everyone was complaining about was that they used to come here all the time (as did I years ago, but it's been a year since being here) and they didn't like the new, slimmed down menu... and they definitely hated the prices here now. Our service was ok, nothing special. I feel like the majority of the servers are very young and might not have the training, nor experience to understand what true service is, not just taking orders and bringing food. The menu was nice. We liked their "Everyday is Sunday" section of the menu, so we tried 2 orders (4 persons) of the pork chop tomahawk and 1 order (2 persons) of the Côte de Boeuf. We started with their Scotch Egg - WOW! Really flavorful with a great texture, inside and out. Definitely a very nice way to start. Cocktails and wine were a hit here for sure! Especially Jarad's G&T, which we got a couple of. Main dishes were great! Plenty of food too!! The spices on the crust of the porkchop tomahawk were so tasty and the temperature was spot-on! The steak in the Côte de Boeuf was incredible! Perfectly seasoned and at that absolute perfect temperature too! The carrots that came with this were very nicely done, but the potatoes stole the show! This dish came with OUTSTANDING Fondant potatoes... They had a great, smokey flavor to them, as if they were basted in pork fat. The meat was perfectly textured and flavored. Overall - While this is no longer the Hunter's Head that many came to know, love, and enjoy, I feel they're doing a decent job here. I'll definitely return, as I want to try their fish & chips!
