We came here Saturday night while visiting mount pleasant. Such a cute spot, and kid friendly. The most amazing thing to note was the staff. We are looking for our last meal in Charleston before our vacation ended and found the okra grill near our hotel. It was a weekday lunch and we were able to get an outside table immediately with a great server who was able to answer questions and bring us our drinks quickly. I had visited this place a couple weekends ago when I was in Charleston. It's actually located in Mount Pleasant. The food, atmosphere and service were really good. I typically don't order fried food, but I figured since I was in Charleston I would try it. The fried shrimp was very good and it wasn't greasy at all. The fried okra and lima beans were delicious too. Also, the biscuits were very good. I just wish they served them complimentary and not just with a meal. It's my second time going to Page's and still love it as much as the first time. It's definitely a new Charleston staple. This time my husband ordered the seafood platter with grits and stewed okra and tomatoes. Apparently it was amazing! He cleaned the entire plate and was happy as a clam afterwards. I ordered the southern fried pork chops with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The pork chops were super tasty, moist, and so yummy! So were the mashed potatoes. We love coming here when we visit charleston but our last visit was slightly disappointing. Started off with the beignets and redneck rolls. Both were amazing and were definitely the highlight of our meals! Collectively for entrees we ordered the seafood platter, country fried steak, prime rib, and ashleighs shrimp and grits; along with the kids meal flounder and fried shrimp. I thought the shrimp and grits were way too salty and unfortunately was only able to take a few bites before it got too much. I did enjoy my cornbread that went with it. Someone else mentioned the prime rib was a little tough but i didn't personally try it. Their mac and cheese, green beans sides were good and well seasoned. However when I peeled back the egg, so much lump crab, bacon, and shrimp spilled out. It's like I hit treasure! Honestly, probably the best seafood omelette I've ever had.
