Not what I expected. Menu looks great, prices are reasonable, and they are apart of SLICE! Ordered a 20" double dough (thought thus would be a regular NY style, and not a pan...) with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms, a greek salad, wings, "pizza bread" and a cannoli. Pizza - bland and flavorless, doughy, and too much sauce. Not a fan. 2/5 Wings - heavily breaded, not crispy, hot Buffalo wasn't hot and tasted like a mild. Disappointing... 2.5/5 Pizza bread - fluffy, cheesy, and delicious, could've used a garlic and butter sauce coating on the top. And the price of $5 for 3 is a bit steep. These were good tho, but could've been better. 4/5 Greek Salad with Italian Dressing - generous amounts of feta and Katamala olives. Fresh greens, nothing wilted. Could've used more cucumber slices, and the dressing was also good! 4.5/5 Cannoli - not the best, needed chocolate chips or pistachios, not chocolate sprinkles on one side... 3.5 Overall this place fell short of my expectations, and I'm glad I got a coupon thru @Honey to try them out, because I was pretty let down for my $50, and I would've been devastated paying the full price of $60 for what I got. We tried the stuffed cheese pizza to go. The Good - the staff was friendly and our pizza was ready exactly when they said it would be. The sauce was very good. I usually like sweeter sauces and this one was not, but it had just the right amount of herbs - very flavorful! The crust was pretty good. The bad - and this may not be bad for everyone. The amount of cheese in the pizza was absurd! Way too much for me. I would have been happy with 1/3 the amount. I would definitely order this again, but ask them to go easy on the cheese. read more

Tonight was an off night!! We've normally been very pleased with delivery of our orders. Never any issues before, but tonight's delivery was traveling 35-40 minutes (we are 8 minutes away, but understand maybe other stops), still, fries were cold, sandwich bread soaked through and the steak on the sandwich was burned, making it inedible. read more

Great place. I walked in and saw a clean place, nice atmosphere, and friendly people. Food was delicious. Lived on the ocean and the grilled calamari was delicious! The pizza was tasty. Did not have a good experience when four adults went to enjoy a pizza together. We ordered an 18" pizza with a 10" free with the order. The individual who took our order charged us for the compliment smaller pizza that was suppose to be free. When confronted about his mistake, he assured that the charge would be removed. It never was. We all feel that he was deceiving and lied when we questioned him about it. Basically he took advantage of us. Very uncomfortable experience and won't be going back. We've ordered from here the last few years (not lately)ordered my usual linguini and red clam sauce and an order of calamari.They seemingly down sized the calamari and the linguini was flavorless,not garlic flavor or oregano flavor as in the past just bland tasting ,also seems like the serving size went down too yet the price is higher.Doubt I'll be ordering here anytime soon read more

So far we have only tried chicken parm and spaghetti and meatballs. I must say they were delicious. Their garlic bread is great also. I plan on trying the beefs and pizza soon. Ordered through their website. Only a $3 delivery charge to St Charles. Food was delivered earlier then quoted. Still hot! Delivery guy was very nice. We will definitely be back! read more

I called at 7:50 PM today on Wednesday, and was told could not place my takeout order because they close at @ 8 PM. Huh?!? I stated that online says 9pm close and the menu - which I'm holding that you gave me last time I was there - states closing at 9 PM. Then I was told "sorry we've changed our hours". Really?!? This is my new favorite pizza place. IMHO, it's one of the best thin crust places around. I base my rating using cheese & sausage as the barometer, and Joseph's really hits the mark. The crust is crispy on the bottom, and just a bit chewy. The perfect ratio of sauce, cheese, toppings, and cooked just right. I always pick up and eat at least two corners on the way home! I really want to try something else there, but that pizza has my full attention. The staff is friendly and attentive, and it seems like one of the owner(s) is always there and says hello. Do not waste your money here. Worst customer service I've ever had. We called to order a deep dish pizza, describing what we wanted in detail. When we got home, it was a thin crust without any of the toppings we ordered. We called back saying this is the wrong pizza, and the woman on the phone said "well that's what you ordered" and hung up. Didnt offer a refund or to remake it. Pizza was so bad a homemade one on a bagel would have been better. This location has been failing for years and honestly it's for good reason. Do not waste time or money going here. read more

Everything was just okay nothing really stood out. The crust had a good flavor but was over worked and slightly tough. The sausage was small almost ground like and with something lacking in spice. Sauce and cheese where just that, so I'm not sure I would retry this place. read more

The pizza was excellent, my wife's was cooked exactly the way we requested (well done). The ingredients were very tasty and the drive home made me even hungrier! The Italian Beef sandwich with hot peppers and cheese was cooked to order as requested very wet. The thing I loved most was the way our items were packaged for takeout, often times the pizza or the italian beef is just wrapped up and the wrapping sticks to the wrapper. Our items were packaged perfectly, the pizza had a mesh between the pizza and the cardboard. Which was great, and the beef was not just wrapped. The foil was tented so it didn't stick to the wrapper. And when I moved to St. Charles I was upset about not being close enough for delivery but then they opened up close to home and I was super happy! We moved to the area not too long ago and I was so happy to find this place. The pizza is amazing (especially the pan/deep dish) and they are always prompt with delivery. The garlic knots are actually dough nuggets which is an upgrade in my mind, and they also do fresh Bosco sticks. read more

I was very excited when I heard Joseph's was opening in Campton Hills. I enjoyed eating Joseph's pizza backed when the owner's dad sent it home in bags instead of boxes in their former location in Glendale Heights (new owner's in that location). Their pizza still uses the same great unique sauce. Since they have opened, I have had the thin, double dough and stuffed. I prefer the double over all and is now the only way I order it. The service is great and they have been busy cranking out to go orders. I have had to weight a little longer than told, but the pizza comes out well cooked and piping hot. As for topping their sausage is great. The pepperoni is the only area I would like to see improved. They have a delicious cheese on the pizza and the pepperoni makes the pizza taste too salty. If your reading this it means your looking for pizza in the area and their is no better. read more
