I love their food but their cooks don't wear a mask, the employees that work with the customers don't wear a mask correctly. I was deeply disappointed in my treatment this evening. I have been a loyal customer for over a year and half. I can honestly say I will never seek their services again. I ordered delivery at 8:33 p.m. and never received it. Upon my inquiry, Allyy hung up on me four times. I was not rude or curt, I simply wanted a refund. She was completely foul in my treatment! I am a salad kind of a girl and I can not stop thinking about their Greek salad with grilled chicken. Huge portion! I made two meals out of one salad. Chicken seasoned to perfection. Loved it. I also had a slice of pizza - I think my hubby ordered regular crust peperoni - and it was good! The place has a great menu overall and I will definitely eat there again. Coming from southern New England which has amazing Italian American and Greek pizza, we consider this one of the best pizza places in Northern Virginia. Ordered the Gyro - arrived cold, dripping in an overabundance of yogurt sauce with with freezing cold soggy fries after close to 50 minutes. Had the side salad with it which was literally a small stryrofoam container filled with large pieces of iceberg lettuce, and one of each of the following: ring of green pepper, small slice of cucumber, small wedge of tomato. We have ordered from Paisano's for lunch many times in the past and we have never had an issue. We are a fairly small office in Reston and tried our best to be accommodating to the fact that our order was not the typical order. In order to make the order easier we used cash and were told by James that we would not receive garlic knots because of this. He had a rude demeanor and made us feel like we were wasting his time. I think this a lack of courtesy and patience by Paisano's and, further on, we will less likely order from Paisano's in the future. Edit 1 hour later: Customer service has reached out to us and expressed their sincere apologies. It was greatly appreciate by everyone at our office. The food is still delicious! read more

I ordered pizza for myself and my roommate. We were hungry and decided to order here since we've eaten here before and it was decent. Today, we decided to get a couple of vegetarian pizzas and some zeppoles. We asked for the pizza to be well done, but it was not a big deal. It was still a decent tasting pizza. Not a big fan of the cheese though. The thickness overpowers the taste of the sauce. Then, we decided to have the zeppoles for dessert. We ordered them with extra sugar, and received an order with almost no sugar. I called and explained what happened and was kindly offered a replacement order to be delivered. Needless to say, my mouth was watering.....until I received the order. I was sent another order, with a little more sugar, but not to suffice a standard order of zeppoles, and STILL NO EXTRA SUGAR. I'm not picky about my food, but I do have a serious sweet tooth. This was both frustrating and sad. Pizza is like a religious experience for me. The pizza satisfies your hunger, at best, but is not aesthetically appealing. The zeppoles should be fried to the point in which they're crispy, not soggy, and most importantly, WITH SUGAR. read more

I ordered from this place because it was one of the few spots that delivered to my old neighborhood that wasn't Dominos or Papa Johns... On the plus side they have a larger and more varied menu than the pizza chains and deliver quickly for free. On the downside their pizza can be beat by most local Italian joints and their other food (subs, wings, etc) is nothing special. The food was cold, the sodas were warm; the order was prepared poorly overall with easily recognizable cheap ingredients. Never again. This may be the best food in Reston, VA. In a town (?) full of uber-processed fast food chains, it's a rare treat to find a place where you can consistently, reliably, get good, fresh food. I realize that the bar has been set pretty low out in Reston, but once you partake of Paisanos Greek chicken salad, you too shall become a believer. The strips of marinated grilled chicken breast sitting atop fresh lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and pepper slices and snuggled with feta cheese, pepperoncini, and kalamata olives is just about the juiciest, most tender I have ever had. Their homemade Italian dressing is heaven in a condiment cup! But it's not just that salad! If you can tear yourself away from your regular salad order, their subs and wraps are delicious too. And the pastas... Paisanos garlic spaghetti is just about the perfect comfort food. The garlic bread... garlicky goodness! And the pizza.... YUM! If you really feel like splurging, add on an order of their fried mushrooms or jalapeno poppers. You will not be disappointed with these calorie expenditure. Best mozarella salad ever---they load up moist slabs of mozarella lining your plate. I have never had a salad with such generous portions of mozarella, even in Italian restaurants. And the mozarella is really good. Some places, it tastes like concrete but this place, wow! I must say I have ordered this item at east 15 times now, and I can say it's always been consistently good, and it's always had the accompanying pita bread. I've read several reviews that state the consistency of the food isn't there. I can't speak for the other items. read more

This place started out great but it's really gone downhill. First of all, they are CONSTANTLY spamming the neighborhood with their menus full of coupons that they stopped accepting years ago. Aside from the manager and the kitchen staff, it seems like their employees are always new and can never be bothered to learn what's on the menu. They always act like I ordered some sort of Martian delicacy and it has to be repeated several times, sometimes described. With a To-go salad order they will forget the dressing about 15-20% of the time, while the accompanying garlic bread is more of a 50-50 thing. I usually check before I leave but today I just couldn't be arsed so I have a dressing-less salad. Honestly, I understand mistakes happen but there is a real problem here, it's not just "every now and then"; it's "often". Sometimes I order (and pay for!) extra dressing to try to ensure that I get at least one. Today I got none. I really feel like I shouldn't have to pay for extra dressing if I'm only going to get the regular dressing the salad comes with, but at least then I know I get one. Lately they don't even know what dressing comes with the Caesar salad. If you order a Caesar salad with extra dressing, they now ask "what kind of dressing?". I have learned that their "Italian" is really Caesar, so if you want Caesar dressing, you have to say "Italian". Otherwise, no matter who you talk to, you'll go back and forth and it'll get like Who's on First. Don't even bother pointing out what kind of salad it is. Just save the time and tell them "Italian". It took me like four goes to understand this. You're welcome. When the restaurant first opened, their grilled chicken was ridiculously succulent. I used to love their gyros. Now it's just kinda dry and meh, and the pita bread is no longer soft. The pizza is occasionally fresh. When it's fresh, it's REALLY good. We don't have any "real" pizza places in this area, so this is probably the closest you'll get to "real" pizza. I want to give them more stars based solely on this but the getting-orders-right thing really needs to be addressed first. The calzones/strombolis are pretty good. They don't put sauce inside them, if you're looking for that way (some do, some don't), but they do give you a side of marinara. The french fries are good. They used to do cheese fries really well, but they've pretty much slacked off on that. They *do* use real cheese, though, so if you're fiending for some real cheese fries these will do in a pinch. The sandwiches are usually pretty good. I am SO tired of getting a salad without dressing. It's a Caesar salad. It's supposed to come with Caesar dressing. I re-joined Yelp JUST to say this. I'm not sold on their pizza (good, but not great), but everything else I've had here is outstanding. Their subs are fantastic and of a generous size. I highly recommend the meatball sub or the BLT, but I've yet to have anything I didn't like. And their bacon cheeseburger is, oddly enough, the best burger I've had around here. I also enjoy their mozzarella sticks. And their salads are HUGE and very fresh. Good food aside, they've never messed up an order for me yet. I can't say the same for Domino's, Pizza Hut, Primo's or any other pizza delivery place around here. And I'm picky...there is always a thing I wanted added or left off. Delivery is always under the promised time. The delivery guys are friendly. I never order from any where else since trying them out. Edit to add that I now love their pizza. I love and cheese and have always ordered extra on my pizzas. The problem here was the extra cheese, since they put so much on it anyway! So...here's the thing; I am pretty picky about my Italian eats. I won't do anything prefabricated (trust me, I can taste the difference) and I don't do can or jar foods. So if I eat Italian at a restaurant, its only from the best. Needless to say, this place did a great job. My VP decided to order from here for our staff meeting. Everyone selected what they wanted and we pretty much ate it family style. There was bread, garlic knots, and salads galore! We thought maybe we got someone else's order but a co-worker pointed out that they always give you this much food. Everyone was able to enjoy a variety of eats and even take some home to share. To be fair upfront, my rating is really only based on two things: their pizza and their delivery. Got a flyer in my door for Paisano's and decided to give it a try since I'm bored with Domino's and my BF doesn't like Papa John's. The "Paulie's Pizza" is sooooo delicious!! It's a thin crust pizza with pepperoni and fresh garlic. To. die. for! BF has also gotten their boneless wings which I've tried and those are pretty good too. I've not had anything else from Paisano's but I wouldn't hesitate to try! This location is also on point with their delivery too. When they say 40 mins, they are there right on time. The food is always hot when it gets there, and the delivery guys are super nice. One tiny complaint is their on-line ordering site. I've gone on twice to try and order for delivery but when I enter my address I get an error saying "none of our shops deliver to your location." (obviously they do because when I call the store, I have no problems). I've sent an email alerting them, but it still hasn't been fixed. If you want to try a different pizza chain, I recommend Paisano's! read more

I've ordered from Paisano's several times and always been pleased. I also like that I can order online. Their pizza is hands down my favorite in the area - just the right amount of bread and cheese, and their salads and sandwiches that I've had were pretty good as well. This was a disgusting meal. We spent $45 on a pizza and two sub combos. Nothing looked as good in person as it did in the photos. One sub was passable, one was completely bland - it was like eating the color beige. The pizza was the biggest disappointment. The garlic was burned, the pepperoni was singed, and the base and crust was like hard cardboard. There was zero rise to the dough, even in the crust. This is beyond NY style thin crust. It was gross. They threw in some zeppoles since we are first time customers. They were also disappointing. They are a "dessert" in that they baked normal bread dough and tossed some powdered sugar on top. No point to them at all. Needless to say, we won't be ordering from here ever again. Good money wasted. read more

My husband and I have ordered from paisanos about 8 times and I have to say that each and every time the pizza has been really really good!!! We have tried the sandwiches and they have been good not great but for a delivery pizza place this is definitely a go to place!!! Had the zepoles last time and they were a little plain .. I suggest getting extra raspberry sauce to doll them up... Favorite sandwich so far is the Meatball hero with extra fresh Mozzarella and grilled peppers and onions... Then I had them out a shmear of ricotta on each side of the bread!!! Now that's how you doll up a sandwich!! Delivery is always timely and food always hot!!! read more

If you place an order for delivery, do NOT place it online because they will screw it up EVERY TIME!! Because of my work location I am limited when it comes to delivery options. I have called and complained when they haven't delivered add on items that I have included in my order and I have never been offered any kind of compensation for their constant mistakes. This place is amazing - every time I call and order they are incredibly nice and extremely polite on the phone. They never fail to make me feel like I am important as a customer. I know I have the option to order online, however, their phone customer service keeps me calling! It isn't until I'm done I remember "Oh I could have just done that online..." My office is located close to this location and we order pretty often. The food is good, customer service and delivery speed are usually great. HOWEVER, we have noticed over the last year or so that the amount of food we receive (particularly the salads) has been decreasing significantly. But we continued to order. Occasionally for meetings we'll order the family meal, as we did yesterday. It had been awhile since we'd ordered that particular meal, but based on previous orders we'd estimated it was more than enough to feed everyone in our meeting. We were shocked to receive the delivery and find that the containers were 1/3 to 1/2 smaller than they used to be! We wound up having to find food elsewhere to make up the difference. Suffice it to say we are unlikely to buy that particular meal option again and are now more likely to go elsewhere when looking for lunch in the Reston area. I'm not saying we'll never order Paisanos again, but they as a corporation should seriously reconsider their decision to provide less value for the same cost. Smaller containers and less food for the same price does not happy repeat customers make. read more
