I stopped by 20/20 Optical today to shop for new glasses after being referred by my eye doctor…read more I'm so glad I discovered this family-owned practice that has been here in the same location for 43 years! Upon entering I was greeted with a warm welcome by April at the front desk who immediately set me up with Luigi- their wonderful Licensed Optician. He was so friendly and helpful and really made my selection easy. After narrowing my choices to the perfect two pairs (one for reading and one for distance), Luigi was so kind as to offer to have them ready for me while I waited. I never expected to walk in and out the same day with my new glasses. Yay! And the best part is the price was so much better than anything I've spent in the past. I highly recommend this gem of an optical store when you are searching for your next pair. They also have two other locations and the staff is trilingual. If you visit their Plantation store, ask for Luigi!

When my child's eyeglasses broke, we searched for a same-day optical and found this one. We came…read moreover right away and Bill took care of us. He trashed-talked some of the optical stores in the area as well as some of the renowned ones. I found this unprofessional, but he was above board with everything else. We purchased a pair of frames, and the experience was good, so I returned for my exam a couple of weeks later with Dr. Horowitz because he wasn't in that day. The exam went well and I recommend him--if you can see him at another location! After the exam, an associate who will remain nameless came into the showroom. When I asked for Bill, he said that he was no longer there. Everything went downhill shortly thereafter. He was extremely dubious. Among many things, he lied to me about not having the frames that I had previously selected. When I asked him to order them from the manufacturer, he said that they had closed their business during the pandemic so they couldn't order from them any longer. I later spoke directly to the manufacturer and when I called [him] back, he was upset that I did that but that I was "in luck" because he had found my frames in another customer's bin and "stole" them from her for me! In the end...there are too many details that I will spare you from on this platform...but it was a horrible experience; and for this reason, not only will I not do business with them, but I dissuade others from taking the risk to do so.

I've been a patient at Central Park Vision for at least five years, and scheduling an appointment…read morehas always been easy--as long as you plan ahead and don't wait until the last minute. Appointments are available at times that are convenient for me, and I never have a long wait to see the doctor. The staff I've interacted with have consistently been helpful and kind, which I truly appreciate. Dr. Holifield is patient and caring, and I will continue to return for my yearly checkups. I wear contact lenses and have been happy with the same brand for many years. While Dr. Holifield may occasionally suggest trying a new brand--and I'm open to giving them a try--there's never any pressure. I'm always supported in sticking with what works best for me. If you're looking for a new optometrist, I highly recommend giving Central Park Vision a try

First, Dr. Holifield is pretty incredible. I picked this place because of the Yelp reviews, and I…read morehave to say, they are right on target. I came in and the staff took my information and had me sit and wait for my exam. It was a very short wait and I was brought back to the see the doctor. I have been wearing glasses since I was 12 years old, so I've had a lot of eye exams. Never mind how many. This one was probably the most thorough I have ever had. Dr. Holifield really did an incredible job of checking out my vision and my eyes in general. He also recommended some eye drops for me, and his staff managed to get a prescription that was normally over $800 for free. Great job! I picked out my new glasses (you can see them in the photo), and while they are not the exact frames I wanted, they'll do. It was a bit pricey, but I have vision insurance so that covered part of it. When I got home I had a notice in the mail that my employer had changed to a new vision insurance carrier. I immediately called the office to apologize and give them the new information, only to find that they had already found it and had billed the correct insurance. That is truly excellent customer service. They told me it would take up to two weeks for the new glasses, which was fine, but it turns out, they were ready in six days. I picked them up and I'm wearing them right now. And I can see, so I guess the visit was a success. And I have a new eye doctor.

Buyer beware. I wish I had looked at some of these reviews before I bought my two prescription…read moredesigner glasses that are useless. I've been trying to work with the store to replace them. The lens quality of one of them is so bad that it is blurry, and you can't see through the lens. The other glasses were uncomfortable to wear as well. When I went to my ophthalmologist, finally, it was determined that BOTH pair of glasses had the wrong prescription! I had been trying to work with the store from the beginning and they kept just cleaning the lens and adjusting the fit and then the 30 day return period expired and they said that there was nothing they could do! The only reason it expired is because I kept trying to work with them. Absolutely no one would ever return my calls, I would call customercare make a complaint and they would assure me that managers would call me back to no avail. No one ever called me or addressed this situation. Even when I went in in person and showed them a note from my ophthalmologist saying that the prescription in both classes was wrong. No one has contacted me! I have had to write corporate the CEO and General counsel to see if I can get any resolution. This was close to $600 worth of glasses with me having a $300 out-of-pocket. At first, I was simply asking for them to remake the glasses; now I am just asking for my share of my money back so I could go somewhere reputable and get glasses that actually have my correct prescription and that I can see out of! I have not been able to use these glasses. They are totally useless. One you cannot see through because of the blurry haze due to the inferior lens quality (and wrong prescription) from the in-house lenses that were from Lenscrafters and the other is simply giving me a headache because it is not the right prescription. I seem to have to squint even with those glasses on. Dollar store glasses are definitely better! Do not shop here! (Noah is very nice but the quality of their product is horrible and Lenscrafters does not standby their products and has no customer service) Maria the manager at the store kept promising me that the regional manager Amanda would call and neither of them ever called me -EVER- despite numerous efforts! Horrible, horrible quality products; horrible, horrible customer service. Find another place! Only gave one star because Noah is so nice... unfortunately he has no control over his bosses or his company. I'd give zero stars if I could.
