We hired Lino for replacing existing countertops and painting job. Overall, I would not recommend him as his lack of experience showed in the quality of his work and his work ethics. He also has aggressive tone when dealing with conflicts. During the process he made the mistake on picking the paint with wrong sheen and tried to push blame on us. He incorrectly chose Satin sheen instead of semi-gloss and never told us even after we showed him what kind of gloss we are looking for. Paint job finish is lower than average; we could see brush strokes, thick lines. He made another mistake to pick up wrong quartz and this resulted in delays. When installing countertops, we agreed on where to put seam and make sure quartz lines should match slightly; he did exactly the opposite. It was horrible. Lines were going totally opposite. We had to fight with him to fix this and again resulted in delays. Anytime you bring up these issues with him, he will use aggressive tone and try to put it on us. Many times during the project, he threatened to leave everything and asked us to find another contractor. It was quite stressful to say the least. So, steer away and find another contractor even if you have to pay more. read more

We had a fairly difficult project that a few other painters had passed on (or tried charging exorbitant amounts of money for) because of how high our townhouse is and the proximity to neighboring units. Lino took it and was great from beginning to end. Raul and his team were very courteous, accommodating, did a really great job and left the place fairly clean afterwards. This wasn't an easy paint job and they also had to communicate with our neighbors quite a bit so all in all we're really satisfied. There were some instances of miscommunication around the paint being used and their schedule but Raul went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the the final results. This was the experience from hell. They damaged the house. They did not tidy up. Every level of the work was shocking. We have now noticed that the paint is peeling everywhere they did work and will be proceeding with legal action. Save yourself a lot of pain and aggravation and get somebody competent. I took a chance in these guys even though they had no reviews and am happy I did. They outbid everyone else I asked and did excellent work. They painted my garage and my daughter's bedroom and did an outstanding job. They took their time and got it right. My daughter wanted an ombré wall and they were honest enough to admit they had never done it before but were willing to try. It came out just as we had hoped. I hired Palermo for full interior painting. They were quick and responsive. However, the quality of the paint job I would give a B-, or less than 75%. Painting job took 5 days and cost over $5,000. They finished in a rush without the manager doing a final review of the work. I myself went through and pointed out at least a dozen areas that needed fixing on that last day. Even now I can obviously see at least 5+ spots that need touch up in every room of the house (so about 50 spots with chipped paint, dripping or unsmooth paint, incorrect color application, etc). read more

Despite what the owner claims- our contract did state the doors were included and when my husband did the bids I even heard him voice doors being included. Not all the trim was painted despite being in the contract and the painters tried to force my realtors hand in receiving their other half of payment before they finished the job. We hired Palermo to paint a portion of the exterior of our house in Seattle. It was a two story and two color (one paint, one stain). When I wasn't able to meet Lino in person for a follow up visit, he was able to FaceTime me from our property to align on job details which was great. The team did a good job and pressure washed, scraped, sanded, masked, and repainted and stained the house. Due to weather (rainy spring) we had to delay but that was expected and well communicated. Had them paint four rooms, three in normal paint and one in the special dry-erase stuff. Had a miscommunication and they ended up doing all four in normal paint, but when I pointed it out they redid the fourth in dry-erase without any complaint or me needing to make a fuss. They were very courteous to my wife and I and didn't start so early in the am that they woke us up. They worked hard sometimes late into the pm to get the job done. We needed kitchen countertops for our kitchen remodel. The contractor that was handling the project had a designated counter top person, when the time came to pick counter tops, this counter top company quotes an insanely high price with a 6 week projected time frame to install. I was very frustrated as it was well above the budget that the contractor himself had allocated for countertops. So I started my own search and came across Palermo. From the get go, their communication and response time is beyond expectations. They respond to email and text, answering every single question thoroughly. Then when it came to the site visit, I explained that I was kinda in a rush to get this done, he was able to come in the next day. Since I was out of town, he even sent me videos, not once but 3 times on site of the final counter top options, and then confirmed one last time time before purchasing. The price was 1/2 what the other company had quoted for exactly the same quartz. AND the lead time was 1 week from first contact to install. They cleaned up completely after themselves. After, the main person contacted me at least twice to make sure I didn't find any damages and that everything was OK. If you come across this company in your search, PLEASE do not look anywhere else.
