As far as airport food goes, this place is not bad. They have a decent selection of sandwiches, pastas, salads, and pizzas. I ordered a turkey panini. It was made to order, which did mean a longer wait time, so I ended up taking my sandwich back to my gate just to make sure I didn't miss my flight. My panini was nice and hot, and tasted good. The bread was thin enough that I didn't feel awkward biting into my sandwich in front of my gatemates. (Traveling alone is tough, man.) I don't know what they did to the spinach in my sandwich but it was very flavorful. And I love spinach, so that's a good thing. Also, good press marks on the bread, and it was not burnt which tends to happen to me sometimes when I order paninis. I did feel like the price I paid was a bit much. Granted the sandwich was wider than most paninis I get, but it was also flatter. I also didn't appreciate the wait, especially since waiting for your food basically means awkwardly standing around in a cramped little space or outside the establishment until someone yells out your order. Would I come here again? Only when I'm hungry and stuck at SeaTac. But hopefully next time I'll just think to pack ahead. Airport food is just too pricey! read more

It's served in a small version of a take-out pizza box, so it's easy to carry to your gate. Takes about 5 mins for a pizza. On the negative side, not sure if it's the oven, the dough, or too much toppings, but the pizza doesn't really get crisp. A slice of thin crust, wood-fired pizza shouldn't flop around when you pick it up. Seating is in the central terminal area, which can be pretty full at a peak hour. So overall, tasty, fast enough, but still room for improvement. read more

I purchased a salad which had a lot of potential to be delicious based on the description (salami, chicken, Gorgonzola, tomatoes, pumpkin seeds, etc) However, half of the lettuce had gone bad and was either slimy or pink. Not only that, but a majority of the pumpkin seeds had been totally burnt to the point where they were completely black and tasted like ash. For a $9 salad, I was EXTREMELY disappointed. In my opinion SeaTac has pretty rad options for food compared to a lot of the airports I have been to, especially in the US of A. There's a nice overhead airport art display, and you're within walking distance to the Dilettante Mocha Bar. Splurge and go there instead of Starbucks. Fresh pizza while you wait. And wait you will. A 13" pie and a drink run you 15$. It's not cheap airport food but it is delicious. I had the four cheese pepperoni pizza. The crust is pita-thin. The sauce us tasty and there are visible pieces of fresh tomato. One pie can easily satisfy one person and won't leave you feeling stuffed. My preference, however, is to share it with another. The line was long (4 people ahead of me)and the wait is about 10 minutes after your order goes in, so it felt like a while. But it was definitely worth it. read more

Grabbed some food to-go from here for the first time the other night. I ordered fettucinni alfredo. I watched the guy pour steaming hot noodles into a bowl & toss them with the sauce. He put the mixture into a little to go box & garnished with parmesan cheese, grabbed a piece of French bread, & put it all in a bag. As I was walking away, I was remembering all the mediocre alfredo sauces I have had... Hoping this one had some flavor. It did! The pasta was really quite delicious! What drew me in most was that Pallino cooks each pizza to order in their own little (gas? wood?-fired) oven. I ordered a plain cheese pizza, which took about 10 minutes (something to consider if you have a tight connection!). I loved the thin crust pizza; it had those delicious charred bits that make a good pizza, well, good! The cheese was nicely melted and was not skimpy in the slightest. Worst service ever! Ordered a breakfast sandwich and a cheese pizza for the kid. They overcharged me for a breakfast platter, not a sandwich and when I went back to the counter the guy said sorry, my bad and then started helping the next customer. He should have given me a $2 refund for the difference but he didn't. The pizza took 20min and was horrible. Don't go here! The small is plenty for a hungry person (or two less-hungry folks). As mentioned, it's freshly baked, doesn't cost too much (under $7), and has quality ingredients. I liked the "four seasons"; mmm, artichoke and prosciutto! I can't believe this is airport food. Seriously one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The ingredients are top notch. Super tasty and well priced. Their bread is made using homemade dough. They make their own soda's with no fructose syrups. I didn't try the pizza but it looked and smelled delicious. They have a pizza oven! Pallino is pretty proud of their pasta. $16 gets you a small, small togo box of noodles, 2 meatballs, breadstick and medium soda. Oh well, if it tastes great, may be worth it......nope. I don't often give poor reviews, but I had a bad time here. The beverages I was interested in were warm, no ice in the cooler, or were sitting out on a shelf. The sliding door cooler was only slightly colder. I was excited about my turkey bacon pesto, so I happily waited for it. It took a surprisingly long time. It wasn't the staff that took a while, but the actual process of the grill. Maybe the temperature was turned down? I'm not sure, but it sat on there for what seemed like ten minutes. Finally when I got it, I briskly walked to my gate, as I was cutting it closer to my departure than preferred. On my way I took a bite, and really liked the crust. Good texture, maybe worth the long time on the grill. My next bite was turkey, and it was hot cured deli meat that tasted like ham. Disappointing, and probably my least desired type of sandwich. The next bite was soggy bacon. Wet. I reached my gate and kept eating. About halfway through I realized that I had a problem, which was that my sandwich was leaking through the paper and had dribbled salty meat juice on my coat, backpack, and now my arms. I'm arriving at my family's Christmas smelling like...ham water. I think a few changes would make it a great sandwich, like pulled turkey, crispy bacon, and grilling at a higher heat for a shorter time. read more
