If I could give zero stars I would! Tonight I ordered delivery, just like I do almost every week from this restaurant. Unfortunately I forgot to leave the no contact tip with the person over the phone when I ordered. They also forgot to ask if I would like to leave a tip. So because of this our food was delivered in good condition but I received a follow up call from "the manager" / delivery guy angry because I forgot got the tip. I said "I'm sorry, what?" Because I couldn't hear him very well. He yelled at me over the phone and said "do you have a hearing problem?!" Then hung up on me. So I went to the restaurant to take a $20 tip, I wouldn't want to be that person. Now mind you I am disabled and I do have a hearing problem. I asked to speak to "the mgr" and got the run around. I then tried to speak to the delivery driver who said he was keeping notes on the deliveries to my house and even recited my address to me. He then continued to make fun of my hearing disability by pretending to use sign language. I kept asking to speak to a manager and the responses from him were the manager is gone or we are all managers here. By the way I recorded our conversation and would post it but the witty manager/delivery guy who hates on people with disabilities, recites my address on the video. I have been coming to this establishment and ordering from them since they opened. I have always liked their food and I have only had minor issues with them before, but I would need to see "the notes" that they keep on deliveries to give you an accurate account. read more

Love it! Amazing service, big portions, delicious food. Pan Acean is my "go-to" delivery place. I love and crave their garlic fried tofu! Minus one star because they tend to over cook their edamame... But that really is my only complaint! Their miso soup and glass noodle dishes are delicious. Disappointed again by this restaurant. I keep hoping I will find an entree I really like, but after a dozen or more tries, no luck. Tonight I tried the Vanilla Prawns which are battered and have an awesome vanilla sauce. They are supposed to be served with honey-glazed pecans. Unfortunately, all the pecans were black and tasted very burned. Not a super big deal, mistakes happen, so I called the restaurant. The woman was no help, told me they weren't burned, that's what caramelized pecans taste like, and maybe I just didn't know. I've had lots of pecans before - roasted, toasted, caramelized, etc. and I know when they're burned. We eat out all the time and like to support local businesses, but will go elsewhere. read more

We started with the deep fried garlic sesame tofu, not bad, then we shared the Udon chicken noodle soup, beef stew noodle soup, and tilapia cooked Szechuan style... Good food (for the most part) but their service needs to be improved. Many of their servers struggle with communication. I like their chicken dishes and miso soup. I am not a fan of their pad thai. You get a good "bang for buck" from Pan Acean. I always feel like they give me more meat for the same price than similar restraints such as Pei Weil. I definitely agree with the previous comments in that there is a great variety in foods: Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc. and that the food here is a good value. That being said, the noodle dishes seem mediocre - proably because of the huge variety. Nothing seems to be a specialty. However, the fried tofu appetizer is really good and not greasy and the chicken lettuce wraps are very tasty! I've tried a few of their Chinese stir fry dishes with rice and the portions are large and the flavors aren't as obvious as a Pei Wei might be - a good thing. I will probably come back here again just because this is the closest to authentic Asian cuisine that's available in the area and the food is priced well. BTW, who classified this as dim sum? Never saw any dim sum carts being pushed around any of the times I was there. read more

At first glance, Pan Acean appears to be a home-grown version of the Pei Wei chain restaurants, with a menu featuring asian fusion recipes. My impression is that Pan Acean does Pei Wei better. I have yet to find a dish that disappoints here; Pan Acean displays a capable hand in the soups and courses that I have so far sampled: from their steamed dumplings to their Mandarin Garlic stir fry. They also had an interesting rendition of Walnut Shrimp; their tangy version was dubbed Vanilla Prawns and came with honey pecans. Perhaps the best dish that I've experienced is their Mandarin Seafood Bisque-a misnomer, since there's nothing bisque-like about it at all. But the seafood broth is delightfully swimming with fish, mussels, scallops, shrimp and asparagus. It's a soup that we can't get enough of it seems, having ordered it on every visit to Pan Acean so far. Worthy of 3.5 stars. read more

I came here with a group of 10 people and we ordered family style. I've honestly never seen such variety in types of Asian dishes at any restaurant in Coppell. My favorites were the vanilla prawns, Pad Thai, Mongolian beef, Seafood Splendor, black bean sauce noodles, and kung pao, but everyone enjoyed every dish. The portions are ridiculously huge, and there was a ton of flavor in each item. The service was also great, and I'm amazed with how fast everything came out considering that every dish is made to order. Quality of food has gone down hill for delivery. Have ordered from here at least once a week for several months. The past two times the food has been horrible has been horrible. Order was not right and food not cooked as requested. Never and issue before. The cooks must be new. My husband and I live very close to Pan Acean and have talked about visiting for several YEARS. Today we actually went there for dinner and were tremendously pleased! The service was very quick, our waiter was remarkably friendly and helpful, and the food was superb! This was pretty decent Asian food. My boyfriend lives right around the corner so I ordered takeout last night when I was working late and didn't have time to go get it - delivery was fast, but I had to repeat my order and credit card several times for the gal on the phone. I ordered Pad Thai, Seaweed Salad & Green Tea ice cream. All three were delicious - and their Seaweed Salad portions were generous, which I loved! I wouldn't bother this place unless you are the one who gets lucky all the time. This is not the restaurant I can recommend to my friends and family. I'd say " go and try your luck" to strangers. Last week, I finally had an issue that ruined my wife's dress in this restaurant and expected the smoothe resolution. When I informed the waitress, she didn't even asnwer and nobody came by. When I asked for an answer, her answer was surprising. "they will fix their issue that caused the issue in the restaurant". When I asked what they can for my wife's dress, she looked puzzed and just turned away without answering. So I asked for the manager and there is no manager working. When I asked them to call, they won't. When I insisted, they finally called. The owner still won't do anything but even asked me why they need to do anything but said he would train the staff more??? First timer and I loved it. Great service and my pad thai was exactly what I hoped for - spicy and full of flavor without the pain.

+ presentation/atmosphere. Only complaint is staff shouldn't contradict menu. If an item is marked spicy, it's spicy. I ordered something and asked for it to be made mild. Staff said it was, so she didn't include in my request. Meal was good, but too much of a kick to it for me. What a pleasant surprise! We went here for a couple of friends' birthday celebration, and were very impressed with the food. For appetizer, we had Har Grow which was really appetizing. We ordered 2 different kinds of Noodle Bowl Soups, Tum Yum and the Korean Seafood Noodle Soup. Both were good, however, we liked the Korean Seafood soup over the Tom Yum. Chefs Special was the stir fry we had, which was good too. Our favorite was the Sichuan Hot Chili Sauce Mahi Mahi, which was delicious. It melted in our mouths! Went in for some Korean food but ended up getting several Chinese dishes. We started off with chicken lettuce wrap which was delicious and for entree we had a duck dish and coconut shrimp. Bad, just bad. This is lower quality althan a panda express. They have large portion sizes on soup. But everything is downed in salt. What little flavor you can taste is a generic asian flavor.
