As far as the noodles go Pan Acean is one of the few places that provided variety and taste to go with it. Location wise I would agree with most review it is not in the best possible place but the food makes up for that. If you have traveled you would know that tastey places don't look always look fancy. I had been craving some egg drop soup for a few days. Since working in Irving during the summer I wasn't sure which restaurant to try. I was referred to Pan Acean by a coworker. As soon as I walked in the staff greeted me so kindly. I was getting my order to go, but was given a glass of water and the fans were turned on me because it was so hot outside. The service was quick and the double checked my order before placing it. Prices very reasonable Andy order tasted just right. Egg drop soup and spring rolls. Can't go wrong with those! We have been enjoying this restaurant in-dining and delivery for many years. The restaurant is always spotlessly clean and fresh. One of my favorite starters is the seafood hot and sour soup - it is chocked full of delicious seafood and very satisfying. We often order the wonton soup with added mixed vegetables - a real meal in itself. I have enjoyed a number of the different stir-fry's and it is always authentic, tasty and delicious. I have had the opportunity to work in several Asian countries and have found menu items here that mimic the real deal! The dumplings are fresh and delicious. The service is always friendly and prompt and the delivery drivers have consistently been courteous and professional. Always a good experience here. I live close by, but I don't frequent as often as I probably could. My family used to come here when I was younger during the winter when we were all feeling a little under the weather and needed some hot soup, but no one wanted to cook LOL. Their portions are HUGE at reasonable prices, so if you're hungry this is a definite A+. Nowadays, I will order over the phone for quick carry out - my orders are always ready in under 10 minutes. I usually get chicken pad thai (but chicken tends to be tough and dry so I've been considering subbing the chicken with more of their tofu) for ~$12. The beauty of the portions means I can make three meals out of one order. My mom and I can share one order and have some left over. It's pretty amazing. If you're not too picky about "perfect Asian authenticity" and just want good tasting food at a good price, I definitely recommend this place. read more

Food was good for the most part. Ordered the chicken lettuce wraps which my daughter said was really good. The Mongolian beef was so-so. It had an overabundance of green onions so the beef tasted like green onions. Beef egg foo young was delicious. I ordered the crispy duck and did not looked anything like the picture they were advertising! 18 dollars for not even half of a duck! Also ordered the Korean seafood soup and the wonton noodle soup. The soup base tasted as if it came right out of instant noodle packet. The wontons tasted as if it came straight out of a package you can find in the frozen section of an Asian grocery store. This is the worst sichuan kung pao chicken, I have ever tasted. It was very sour. I visited the restaurant today 10/15 for lunch. No one in the restaurant. I told the waitress to take away the food and close the bill. She called the manager. They were all very polite. She said this is the type of sour sauce they use. I told her I have eaten and made different types of kung pao chicken in my life time. Does not matter, whether its Hunan, shanghai , Cantonese or Hong Kong style, never taste this bad. They gave me credit for the lunch I returned. But they charged me $2.11 for a tea bag placed in a pot with hot water which is ridiculous. I did tip the waitress as its not her fault for this nasty dish. read more

Overall our experience was mediocre. At 6:00 on Friday night there were plenty of tables open, but it filled up around 6:30. I heard a lot of apologies as the house filled up and the staff was overwhelmed. We waited ten minutes for our change. The food was generally okay but luke-warm. I had the Pad Thai which they said was the popular dish but I wasn't too impressed. Mongolian beef lacked flavor and the teriyaki sauce tasted like it was out of a bottle. The big disappointment were the egg rolls which were piping hot but mostly cabbage with minuscule pieces of chicken like they had been skimmed off the top of a pot of boiled chicken. My family and friends ask to go there often and I am lucky to live close enough for delivery. Although most of these reviews rave about Panacean, I felt compelled to write about our less-than-desirable experience. My wife and I, too, live in the neighborhood and have visited Panacean a few times since moving to Coppell 4 years ago.... Overall, the food has been relatively good and I agree that their pad thai is probably their best menu item. The service is fair, the atmosphere so-so. Our last visit was truly our last, My chicken pad thai was good, but my wife's big noodle bowl (Udon Noodle Soup) had an unwanted guest swimming around under some noodles - either a very large fly or a smaller roach, or something..... When the manager came over, he just looked at it, grunted and walked away. No apology, no nothing. We were shocked!.... Anyway, with our appetites in shambles and the inattentiveness/unresponsiveness of the staff quite evident, we left, and will never go back again..... I'm disappointed, because Asian is one of our favorites, but it's time to move on. Hope all of your experiences are better than ours! read more

Daughter picked up orders to go couple weeks ago. She ordered sweet and sour chicken. She couldn't eat it. I took a byte of the chicken and all I could taste was almost raw flour, no herbs or spices.
