I don't like writing bad reviews but after getting food poisoning from eating at this restaurant, I feel like it has be brought to someone's attention so this can be fixed. I ordered the Al Pastor Quesadilla with rice, beans, cheese and pico de gallo. Not only was the quesadilla not wrapped tight enough to stay in place but the taste was bland as well. I ended up grabbing a fork to finish my quesadilla that just became a mexican plate. Later on that night, my stomach was not right and became really sick for days. Sparing you the details of how sick, I am scared to eat here ever again. I'm sorry Poncho's. I hope you change the way you're prepping your food for the sake of people's health. read more

Great quality food. Cochinita and barbacoa were good, but portions were too small. Only chicken and beef are portioned out healthy with a slotted spoon. All other meats are portioned out with a tong in much smaller amounts. Super burrito was done and left me still hungry. If I come back I will be ordering chicken or beef. read more

Pancho's is one of our favorite discoveries since moving to the area! Always so fresh and authentic, and the owners are always so very kind and welcoming. This was so long awaited for dedham. It's been under construction forever. Let me start by saying the line is always out the door, so I'm thinking that's a good thing. The food must be great. We'll the reality is its super slow. I think I waited 15 mns in line and the same 2 people were still at the counter ordering. We left. I'll give it another try but I'm not sure. Overpriced for the portions you get. Menu is confusing. The cheese on my enchilada was a piece of sliced cheese thrown on it, after the sauce. The Caesar salad had about tiny bit of dressing on it. The server kept on asking me with each item "for here or to go", even though I told him my whole family's order was "for here", "we are going to eat here". My wife's burrito took way too long to prepare. I think they forgot it until we asked about it again. Not very well organized place. read more

Just got home from eating here for the first time. This place is excellent. The staff was wonderful, the food was fantastic, and the place was very clean. When we arrived we were the only ones there which was nice because I was with my 2 kids and my neice and nobody knew what they wanted. Being a veteran and it being Veterans Day I asked if they were doing anything for the occasion. The lady at the front said no, which was fine. Never hurts to ask. After my burrito was made, she told me it was on the house and she thanked me for my service. I was blown away by the gesture. She didn't have to do that, we were committed to eating there as is. I would recommend this fine establishment to anyone who like Mexican food at a very reasonable price and low key friendly atmosphere. A+ read more

Excellent, hit the spot! This place has a casual, clean, well-lit ambiance. The dish I ordered had fresh, tasty ingredients combined in a way that worked well together without swamping any of the individual flavors. Service was quick, skilled, and friendly. The price was what I expected. This was exactly the low-pressure, relaxed, healthy, uninterrupted meal I had been hoping for when I first spotted this restaurant. I've read some of the reviews here and find most of them amusing. You are eating great food especially for a taqueria in Dedham. "Too much guac in my taco"...is that even a thing. The employees are super nice and their burritos are massive. All their sauces are amazing which is what gives great taste to Mexican cuisine. This doesn't even compare to other chain taquerias and I've been here 50+ times since they've opened and won't stop anytime soon. I'll be back this weekend. read more

My husband and I have just found a hidden jewel in downtown Dedham called Pancho's Taqueria! We went last Saturday and were not disappointed! The fajita's (I had chicken ) was cooked perfectly! So disappointed- we have eaten here before and loved it, but tonight everything appeared not fresh. The guacamole was browning, the rice and chicken were over cooked and obviously sat too long. On the positive the margarita was delicious and the fish seemed fresher. I hope they can turn the food quality around since we love this little shop. read more

I went on vacation to Mexico about 6 month ago, I came back and I was graving for this type of food, I was driving by this restaurant and we went in since this place was full house and busy, I liked it because it was clean and working staff has great smile on their faces, Hates on, gloves on while helping me. Went here yesterday with a friend, enjoyed it! Friend got a burrito with chicken and I had one taco because I already ate dinner. My taco was really delicious, the pickled red onions were a nice touch that you wouldn't find at Chipotle. The real draw for me was the chipotle lime sauce! It was refreshing to see more options than just your typical hot or mild salsa. Service was pretty fast and plenty of seats to eat in the restaurant. Will definitely go back. read more

Worst Mexican I've had in a long time. Got the torta, bread was stale. Enchiladas were awful. Got 2 fish tacos and wouldn't even eat them. Fish looked raw. It says grilled fish yet they were steaming them in a pan. Should have stuck to los amigos or any of the other places in the area. Never going back. I don't write reviews either.
