This restaurant is tucked in the far end of the parking lot, so don't give up looking for it when you get there. They are quick to greet you at the door and seat you. The food was ok. Average Chinese buffet food. I liked the fried fish and fried shrimp the most. The dumplings were cold and hard. May have been there a while. The fried rice was somewhat mushy. There were quite a few annoying patrons playing their phones extremely loud. I wish restaurants would have signs that say no loud phone usage or something to that effect. 3 Star visit. read more

have only been here a hand full of times and it's progressively gotten worse. 1st time was great! second time we were hounded for a tip for at least 1hr by a waitress who never stopped at our table except to ask for a tip all while we were still eating. this most recent time i went my family got an array of things like anyone else and while we were eating my daughter found a maggot. since we were sharing we aren't sure exactly what it came from. we flagged out waitress and she found management. once management came over we explained the situation and her words were it was broccoli saying that they get produce from several places and they can't keep up. saying that it was ok and we could keep eating. if you all can't properly clean your broccoli I can only imagine what else isn't clean. and I still can't conform that it was the broccoli . this was all completely unacceptable. yes we were sharing plates but at no point did my child have broccoli on her plate. they wanted to give her a free drink. now for time reference we were probably there maybe 20mins and we had barely gotten our drinks half way down. she was really trying to justify the maggot being in the food. they wanted us to go get more. eventually she comped 1 meal. i went pay and yet again a waitress who we hadn't even been seated or served by follows me back to my table asking for a tip. I already am paying for a meal I didn't finish nor care to. and you're hounding me for more money. we will never be going back read more

Food is as expected for a cheap buffet. The husband/ male boss is extraordinarily rude and confrontational. He stares and stands by watching a you eat and says things in a foreign language. He watches and looks angry as he makes sushi. Everyone else is welcoming except this man. His presence is almost ominous at times. read more

So freaking rude!!! I come to get a to-go box every once in a blue moon, everyone is usually super sweet. Not today, I guess. My box was not full, but I put two fibs in there so it seemed like I had more. The lady at the front, yells at me and says, "hey shoo shoo (shooing me away), box is too full. Preface: This review is written from someone eating at a BUFFET. We all know that buffets have a different level of food quality vs meals made to order. With that said... Food: I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of the food. I took one star away because there was, on occasion, a bite that could have been hotter. Service: The service was great. Albeit, it's a buffet and we served ourselves, but the staff were quick to refill drinks and remove dirty dishes. Ambiance: For a buffet in Lake Worth, this place was just fine. I have been here a couple of times before, and Panda Buffet's food is good for the price you pay. My only complaints are I felt like I was being forced to leave, more on that later, and there were a lot of flies where we sat. Location: The location is easy enough to find. I didn't encounter any solicitors, and there were ample parking -- it's located in a strip with other shops. Price: The price you pay for the food you get is good, more so average. There weren't many seafood, but for the price, you get the typical Chinese buffet you're looking for. Food: Like the typical Chinese buffet, there were several food. It was quite obvious that some of the seafood wasn't fresh, but that's the case for most buffets. It was a bit unappetizing because I noticed flies flying around -- they were also hidden behind the window blinds. Other than those details and concerns, the food was quite tasty. Customer Service: It may have just been my waitress (because I noticed she did the same thing to other customers as well), but the treatment I received was quite odd. I have no complaints about her timely manner when picking up our finished plates or refilling our drinks -- it's more of how she directly treated us (my friends and I). While we were still eating, we were handed the check to pay -- I guess I can understand this happening when it is busy, but the buffet wasn't busy at all. In addition to this, as she handed us our receipt to sign, she said, "Make sure you leave a good tip." As odd as it was, I believe it was scripted primarily because she repeated the same thing to everyone else, which is fine... but odd. Overall, I would return again when I'm craving a lot of Chinese food. I may not go for their sushi because that was bland -- other food tasted just like any other Chinese food you eat. read more

Typical chain Chinese buffet and I am reviewing it as such. No Mongolian grill but has a large variety of food typical of what is usually in these same chain buffets: sushi, all the regular Americanized Chinese-style plus a soft serve machine and scoop-able ice cream for cones. I enjoy their sushi too, and my sons are gym rats who pile up ribs, salmon and beef without noodles and rice. Salad bar with ice down shrimp and plenty of veggies and some fresh fruit depending in the season, there's something for everyone. Even fried catfish. My favorite is the creamy shrimp dish sometimes called walnut shrimp and sometimes called Hollywood shrimp. For this type of Chinese buffet it's plenty good and I've been going there literally since it's existed. My kids (28 & 23) grew up eating there and one of them requested it today for Christmas lunch before a movie. read more

We spent $45 for my husband, my three-year-old daughter, and myself to eat at the buffet. The food was mediocre at best. About fifteen minutes into the meal my daughter threw up everything she'd eaten thus far. Whether this is a reflection of the quality of the food or the pace at which it was eaten, who knows. But I'd bet the $10 we spent on the small amount she had on her plate that it was the food. Also, they had stapled the torn buckle straps back together on the high chair my son was in. STAPLES. Cheap Chinese buffet. We come here when we have need a break from our usual lunch spot rotations. The place is outdated and drab. They've been here for years but I feel like the set up is never fully complete. The buffet has a decent amount of offerings. I personally do not like the drinks here. I've had soda from the fountain machine and unsweetened tea which both had a weird aftertaste. Forget about ordering just ice water. This is Lake Worth after all :) The soups are sufficient, enough to not complain about on a cold wintry day. I do enjoy their fried chicken wings, probably one of my favorite Chinese buffet item, so that alone will get me back. Service is friendly but lacking, even when it's not busy. This last time we went, not once did anyone stop by our table to refill drinks or clear away plates, even though we just had one each. The table was sticky where I sat which set the mood for my meal. I am relatively new to the area and was looking for a buffet for my family. The first time I went was for lunch and I enjoyed the experience. HOWEVER, the second time, for dinner with my family, was an absolute disaster and everyone was disappointed. The chicken finger my 6 year old got were raw! He noticed it immediately and brought it to my attention. I brought it to the waitresses attention and she argued with me saying they were done. The chicken was visibly dark pink. I stopped talking to her and she continued arguing with me. She then left the table, then came back 5 minutes later with more chicken and more argument for me. She insisted the chicken was done. I stopped talking to her, again, and turned my back to her. She continued the argument with my adult son. I took pictures, but, it is too bad this site won't let you post. The good: crab rangoon has more cream cheese than any where i have ever seen. I judge a place by how good the chicken and broccoli is. The broccoli looked about 90% there, but it tasted good. The sushi was ok. Not labeled, but nothing spicy. Which i liked. The bad: This place is a small buffet and half of it is dessert! Alot of the food had sugar, including chicken. Nothing is labeled. This is not a good place for someone who never ate chinese food. The ugly: i got what looked like fish covered in cheese. I did not end up eating it cause it looked a little questionable. At the very minimum the sushi needs labels on whether it is spicy. read more
