I eat at Panda Express alot. Here are some reasons why you should NOT visit this location. 1. The manager has very poor communication skills, if you have a problem, she can not comprehend nor will she offer any resolve. 2. The prices here are out of control. This Panda is 25 percent more than other Panda restaurants in the area. 3. The food sits in the pans too long and is not hot or fresh on many occasions . 4. Mainly patronized by 4N touristas many who come from foreign lands bringing with them Covid and other contagious diseases. Lots of them coughing sneezing and hacking all over the place. 5. Staff: We were helped by Dion through the drive thru. He was such a nice guy. Polite, professional, friendly, and a great guy. Quality/Quantity: The food quality/portions here are the same as other locations. Value: The pricing is fair and typical of fast food. Slowest panda ever stuck in the drive through for 25 behind a single person. They pay these employees too much to be this much of slackers. Management needs to crack down and make them hustle or fire these employees. This was the worst Panda Express experience that I've ever had. First off we placed a mobile order and went inside and after standing there for 10 minutes and explaining we have a mobile order. The manager Nadia said I still have 15 minutes to make it and I took that into consideration and waited. Now we waited another 15 minutes so 30 minutes total on a mobile order and then got our box that was lacking food. First and foremost, one of the boxes only had fried rice and I showed them and said where is my entree or actually both entrees that belong in this box and they seemed upset that I said that and instead of the manager who is serving the food serving my food, she had the cashier walk over and scoop a couple of small scoops into my container enough to feed a small bird if that. So when I said that's it. That's all you do for making us wait this long and she tried to give me a free soda. I don't even drink soda so that was an insult. On top of that I have a tiny little plate of food and spent $25 for not enough food to even feed my 3-year-old grandchild. A complete travesty to say the least. Never again will I eat at this Panda I should have driven the other 8 mi further to go to the the panda in Banning or Beaumont actually. That would have been the better option since they at least care about their customers. Unlike this one in Cabazon. They all need retraining and Panda needs to consider not hiring a bunch of little kids fresh out of high school that have no tact and no customer service experience. Karma is real! We stopped here after going around Morongo Casino on our last day from our Palm Desert trip. We were looking for something quick but weren't feeling burgers at the time (since in n out is next door). This Panda Express is located just next to the Cabazon Outlet, and it shares parking spaces with a gas station and In N Out. The parking can get very busy and the restaurant inside is as well. There was a line when we went and even though it moves, it was moving very slowly and the dining area was very crowded as throngs of people continue to come in and out of the restaurant. The good thing is that the food here can be fresh off the kitchen as people continue to come in and kept the staff busy. We got our usual, fried rice, Beijing beef, orange chicken, cream cheese Rangoon, and chicken egg roll. The staff on the counter were efficient, but I guess they were just really tired serving or had a long day already, they barely greet you and just wants to get your chosen item before passing it along the line. The cashier is also more or less in the same mood, no smiles. It was just ready to pay and get out the line and finding a table. There were a lot of parties/group of people that just sits around before ordering the food, so it was a little frustrating trying to find a space for us to eat, we also had 2 little ones with us. Anyways, we ended up finding a table and finally enjoyed the food. The staff works hard to try to keep the place clean and I appreciate that. She also didn't mention that a single bowl was now only a dollar less than a 2-item entree meal. The bathroom floor was literally covered in piss to the point that my girlfriend put her shoes in the bed of our truck because she didn't want to contaminate the carpet. It had been years since I stepped foot into a Panda Express and after arguing where we were going to eat from Imperial Valley to here in Cabazon (do the math for a harsh reality), my husband and I were reminded just how good this place is! For around $8, one can eat like a King with a two-item combo that comes with fried rice or chow mein (or half / half, which I recommend) and a drink. In typical Chinese food fashion, Panda Express employees are trained to load up the carton until it can barely close so no one is physically able to leave here still hungry. This location is a stand-alone store close to the Cabazon outlets and is near Hadley's (as a point of reference). This is a drive-through location with a decent sized dining area inside if you want to chow down there. They also have clean restrooms which add an element of being a great stopping point for those on a long road trip. Beware that the parking lot gets packed because it is shared with other fast food locations in the proximity. While this location isn't convenient to us go frequent often, it was definitely the reminder we needed to visit Panda Express on the regular. read more
