This is a treat food I get occasionally and it tastes great. The staff service is terrific. The business is always clean. Some of the recipes have changed over the years. I think the vegetables have a little too much salt (personal preference). But like I said, overall it's great. I have a large family and they accommodate our meals perfectly. He was working last night and helped up order and made small talk with us and we were still in and out in less than ten minutes. This is fast food Chinese so let's take that into account!! I think it's in your best interest to go inside for your best experience! We were greeted promptly and offered samples, which was nice! It took us some time to order as we looked up and down the buffet like area. We finally decided, on a one meat plate and a two meat plate (those aren't the names, I just forgot and I'm now thinking of bbq!) one with Beijing Beef, and the other with Mushroom chicken and a spicy chicken of some kind! The food was good, the portions were appropriate, and the people are always nice!! If you find yourself craving Americanized Chinese food this is the spot to be. The place was clean and employees kind. The only real complaint I have is the way the seating area is designed. There are several tables that have bar stool like seating, some normal height sized tables for 2 people and only ONE normal height table for 4 people. If someone is at that table and say you have more than 2 people (especially with young children) then you are out of luck. It's a shame they didn't realize this problem when they put the store together. The food was a great representation of what Panda offers. It was hot, fresh and ready to be scarfed down with your choice of chop sticks or an ever so homely plastic fork. I typically get my food put into a "to go box" because I can't finish the large servings they hand out in just one meal. My favorite is the Orange Chicken, my husband loves the egg rolls and my youngest the Beef and Broccoli kids meal. I always look forward to the fortune cookies because I'm one who adds the phrase "in bed" to the end of each fortune to enjoy a good laugh. Ordered food at the drive thru tonight and my daughter's kids meal was ordered with white rice but came with chow mien instead. So despite not wanting to cook tonight I ended up having to cook white rice at home. Checked receipt and white rice was indicated on the receipt, so it was ordered and inputted correctly, just got lost in execution. The food was very good. Girl at the window was friendly and order was delivered fast. Not sure I'll come back to this location as I'm moving next month and this will no longer be my closest Panda Express, but I will be sure to park and go inside to ensure what is ordered actually gets scooped into the box. First things first, it's a Panda Express. It's not going to be high quality Chinese food. That being said, the food at this location is typically good & consistent. The new honey sesame chicken is delicious as well! I ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp on fried rice, and I'd say it's worth the extra dollar. It's definitely Panda Express's best entree, having a unique flavor that you can't find at any other Chinese fast food restaurant. I was worried about how small the bowl looked, but it's much heavier than I expected. The bowl is also pretty deep, so don't underestimate the sizes. Service is very fast, but the food is already made so that should be expected. I do think it is a little more expensive than your local Chinese take out. read more

If I could given this place a zero, I would have. 1.) I have two complaints: begging for donations without so much as telling you what it is for. 2.) getting my order TOTALLY WRONG. Today, about an hour ago, I ordered a combination plate of Pepper chicken and Broccoli beef. When I got home to my horror, I had Kung Po Chicken, a dish so spicy, you might as well inhale fire. But I weaved my way through it because I wasn't going back out, taking that drive. The strange thiing is my receipt shows Pepper chicken and Broccoli beef. The attendant was so busy begging for donation, I guess they got distracted. When I pulled up to the ordering window, I ordered a combination plate of Peeper chicken and broccoli beef. Total price $10.01. I pulled up to pay and handed her $20, and before handing me my change, she said in these exact words: "would you like to make a donation". I told her no. That was strange. It's tacky and uncomfortable to be asked for donations at a drive -thru. And then I get home and have some totally different than what I ordered. Of course, I paid for a combo plate and got one meat. I am not sure what is wrong with some of the businesses in my city, which is Highland Village, but the people never smile, and they behave like robots. The people in this establishment was no different. Lewisville and Denton have much better disposition when serving their customers. I normally get my Chinese food from New China down on 407 next to Goody Goody Liquor, but they were closed because it was a Monday. And honestly their food here wasn't that fresh like it is at New China. I was kinda sad cause I love Chinese food. I'm not saying I would never eat here but New China has my business. All the employees at this location seem very happy! They ALL have a smile and welcoming attitude. They are very courteous and polite and are very efficient but very careful as they complete your order. I especially like how the person who servers you follows you through to the end of your order. They offer a sample of any new item or any item you'd like to try. The restaurant is always extremely clean and well stocked and the food is always fresh and consistent and very good. The manager is always around and makes sure that your order is to your liking and always checks to make sure that you are pleased with your order, if you're dining in the restaurant. In December (2017) Panda Express (5861 Long Prairie, Flower Mound, TX) wonderfully came to our rescue at our daughter's wedding. The restaurant which had been engaged to provide the food closed with no warning (yet was open again in the next week).
