So happy to get my Panda fix at the airport! I had some time before going through security and I saw Panda Express was in the mini food court. I ordered a plate with 1/2 rice and 1/2 super greens and orange chicken and sesame chicken as my entrees. It definitely hit the spot and it was delicious! A little more expensive being at the airport, but nothing too excessive and that's expected. They do not take Panda rewards here from the app either, but that's also expected. I like Panda Express more than I should, but it often delivers on its odd-yet-tasty Chinese-American hybrid cuisine (you can thank it for getting me through high school for that, haha). But perhaps being in an airport with overworked employees and stressed-out travelers, everything suffers: the taste of the food, the quality of the service, the atmosphere of the dining area. It wasn't terrible enough to rate lower, ironically enough, saved from lower scores by its corporate standardization efficiency, while I still resent its soulless capitalistic exploitation. I would ultimately recommend other eateries in this food court area, but unfortunately, there is slim pickings. read more

Very impressed with Panda Express today. They were crazy busy with lunch crowd so the cooks were cranking out fresh cooked food constantly. The 2 plates we had were (dare I say) restaurant quality. Seasoning was spot on. Veggies had crunch and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend when they are busy. read more

This place could use some training. My mother walked up and asked for a veggie roll pointing at the screen behind which had the sushi on there. We paid and were presented with two veggie spring rolls in a paper bag. We then mentioned that we ordered the veggie roll and she refused to do anything about it and said it was too late and that we had to take the spring rolls. Then after the manager showed up and asked for our receipt, which we were never given, she said there's nothing she could do about it. She then turned the screen trying to show all the receipts of the day with a blank look on her face. I went straight to the time stamped receipt with the incorrect items and voided it myself. This is pretty basic stuff that a manager should know how to do. The fact that she said tough luck and tried to give us the spring rolls without any care or concern was pretty shocking. read more

This was a disappointing experience. Other locations of this chain are very good, but this didn't meet expectations. That being said...airport food usually isn't very good. Believe it or not I'm giving a food court option a 5! So it could be that is was Fantastic food or I was just so hungry it tasted amazing. We both ordered the entree meal, chose chow Mein as our side. My daughter ordered orange chicken, I ordered the beef broccoli. Food was a 5, service was really a 3. The ladies serving obviously did not want to be at work. As we walked to check out, we thought the girl was calling us to register, no she was hollaring at her friend walking through the food court. Disappointed with this Panda's Express. While mostly similar to other Panda Express stores, this one was still half out of dishes (no mushroom chicken, tofu, spicy chicken etc.) during the height of lunch rush. Spring rolls looked far overdone. The green bean chicken was solid as was the steak (extra cost) - a little spicy and very salty overall. You'll need a drink. read more

Rubbery noodles. This used to be one of the better value meal at any airport. Now not only is the food barely lukewarm, but the portion size are ridiculous. Gal didn't even bother filling the container. Just one small grab with the tong. Barely 2/3 full. Smaller than the size of my fist and I wear size 5 in gloves. Perhaps it's seeing a petite girl and figuring you could rip her off. Cause I sure did notice the airport employee ahead of me got way more food, filled to the brim. The food was adequate for satisfying a hunger. The process of ordering food was a bit repetitive, where I had placed an order with a person who started fulfilling it, then passed it to a colleague to whom I had to repeat my order, who then abandoned their post to work a register and resolved by another attendant after they were done serving customers after me. It was my first time having kung pao chicken - I did not know it had peanut. I'm surprised that there was no allergen warning.. but perhaps it's not obvious enough. My partner simply swapped dishes with me to avoid a reaction. The honey walnut shrimp with a side of chow main was pretty good. Would probably have been faster and safer to order food at the mcdonalds next door, despite panda having what looked to be a really short line. read more

Orlando airport's large food court is full of chains (Quizno's, Nathan's, Sbarro's, Burger King, etc), but none appealed. I've had PE in the past, mostly at other airports, and knew it was a solid choice to fill me up without making me have to visit the plane's restroom over and over. I asked for a sample of both breaded shrimp dishes they were featuring - Golden Treasure Shrimp (sweet-spicy with red and green pepper chunks) and Honey Walnut Srimp (creamy sweet sauce with candied walnuts). I couldn't decide between the two, so I got both + veggie Chow Mein noodles ($9, $7 + $1 each upcharge for the shrimp). I really liked both. The breading was still slightly crispy, whole container was warm, and the shrimp was plentiful. Ample seating in the open area in the middle of the food court. read more

However, the styrofoam container was clearly marked with 2 entrees, yet she was charged the price for three! That is unforgivable. American Asian food is so full of sugar, but if you expect it's not really Chinese food, you'll be OK. Some dishes more salty than sweet, like the Shanghai Angus Steak or Mushroom Chicken. I was feeling like something sticky, got the Beijing Beef (there was a chili pepper next to that on the menu, but no discernible heat) and Grilled Chicken Teriyaki. Both pretty tasty, meats were tender. Chicken surprisingly very moist. Lo Mein Noodles springy, touch under done, but I appreciate they weren't soggy. If you need a hot meal during your travels, not a bad choice. Touch pricier than McD's or Chick Fil-A, but a lot of food. read more

This location is in the food court of the Orlando international airport. It was close to dinner time on a high traffic day during the holidays. I witnessed about 5 employees in the kitchen area running around etc. and I waited in a decently long line patiently. I reach the ordering spot, and asked for fried rice. I was told they were out of fried rice for about 8 minutes... I looked at the line behind me and decided white rice would do me just fine! But guess what? They were out of white rice too!! Even brown rice was out! I know it was a higher traffic day being during the holiday season, but I was still disappointed in their lack of rice of any kind. I came here for a quick dinner before my flight left. I've had a good experience before at this location while in between flights so I decided to give it another try. The Line wasn't long but there was a lengthy wait for more Orange chicken. And the person ahead of me got the last scoops. I can't complain because I did receive fresh hot chicken. That is always a plus in my book. It's your standard panda express; I will say they are generous in the scoops of chicken they give you which is one reason I come back to this location when I'm in the airport. They are consistent with the quality of food. You know what to expect when you order panda express. Its not going to be PF chains quality but it's better than just stopping at McDonald's. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered the combo with two entrées but they only gave me one entrée. I reported this to the cashier and she she was very quick with correcting the problem. Terrible. Try to avoid if possible. Service was not very nice, guess you could blame that on the airport environment? For example, they had no forks, only 4 spoons they stole from McDonald's to use, and their response? Move along, next customer. Pay and move, not their problem. I asked for them to fill up my cup since they charged over $1.30 for a refill (where others like Chick-fil-A across from them didn't charge anything) and the employee gave me attitude. Terribly slow. Not rude, but not too friendly. Half of the selections were out...the employees were not even working on cooking them or bothered to tell me when A fresh batch would be out. So in a pinch, because I did not anticipate that, I chose another entree and noodles. The noodles were old, over cooked, and hard. I returned the meal immediately and received a refund. I was very irritated because this is ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Super busy all the time. Wtf??? You aren't making enough food for your very long lines? Why? When I think Panda Express I think cheap, fattening, crummy mall food. For the most part that's still correct except this Panda is at the food court in the Orlando International Airport AND (much to my surprise) they now offer more healthy options called Wok Smart. They had several of these entrees each at less than 250 calories (+1 star!). I had dinner here one evening and they really piled on the food. I had one healthy (Chicken and Mushrooms) and one not so healthy option (Orange chicken) along with fried rice. The restaurant is always busy so the turn around on the food is always quick, meaning fresh stuff. The food is still cheap and mass produced but for what you get it isn't too horrible. read more

We had a long wait at the Orland airport. Got hungry and chose Chinese food since I Love Chinese food. This Panda Express was one of the worst tasting food ever. Nothing was bad, or wrong, it just didn't taste as good as Chinese food is suppose to taste. There comes a time in everyone's life when they have to get food from an airport. That choice comes with the fact that you know you are going to be ordering from largely chains with reduced menus and inflated prices. Not wanting to suffer from the horrible mark up that happens after going through security, we decided to hit up the food court at Orlando International Airport. It had been awhile since we have had Chinese (yes, yes, "American Chinese" in this case) so Panda Express seemed like a decent option. All in all, the food was okay and about what we expected. We got the two entree rice plate with chicken and mushrooms and the black pepper chicken. Both were pretty greasy, but not disgustingly so. Of the two, the chicken and mushroom was the better one. The rice was standard, but fresh enough that the rice loving male component of this review team was happy. The portions were also nice, as we split the dish between us. Overall, the place is comparable to other Panda Express outlets, so not a bad option for fans of the franchise. read more

Stayed overnight at the Hyatt Regency Airport and needed to get a quick meal to catch the SAG Awards airing that night. Decided to take away food and since I haven't gone to Panda Express since forever and there was barely a line, I went for it. Of course I had to get the Orange Chicken with fried rice and got a serving of the Shanghai Angus Steak as well just in case the Orange Chicken fails me. Boy was I right getting another viand in handy as the Orange Chicken was too soggy and lacked flavor. Even the fried rice was shy of soy sauce! Good thing the Shanghai Angus Steak was impressively good! Seasoned well with the right mix of soy sauce and pepper. This was my first trip to Panda Express and I was extremely pleased with my level of service and the quality of the meal. Being from New York City, I have been known to be extremely picky when it comes to Chinese food, and I can now say that I have found somewhere outside of lower Manhattan that I will trust with making my Chinese food. I would also like to recognize Emperatriz. This individual was one of the best fast food service workers I have ever encountered.
