My experience at Panda Express has been excellent. I ordered the orange chicken and black pepper beef with chow mein, a delightful order indeed. Upon inserting the poultry into my mouth you can feel the sauce coat your palate with a beautiful, delicate, and sweet sauce. The beef was also exceptional, taking a bite was of no issue since the beef was so tender and the flavor just penetrates your taste buds with provides a strong, savory, umami flavor contrasting with the starchy chow mein base. Then call the number to see if they are open and they speak Spanish so you think you have the wrong #. If they weren't open they wouldn't pick up the phone. 7:50 PM, I ordered 1 panda bowl chow mein and orange chicken. The Hispanic female Manager (black Panda Express shirt) counted and placed 9 small pieces of Orange chicken on top of the noodles. An Hispanic male customer ordered the same 1 Panda bowl with Orange chicken. His Orange chicken was not counted and many pieces of Orange chicken was piled on top of his noodles. I took pictures of each bowl for documentation. The same Hispanic female Manager asked the other female employee, did he order a large or extra Orange Chicken, and the other female employee said NO. These Panda Express employees are all Hispanic and are very unfair and they do not treat all customers the same. They favor other Hispanics and does cater to them. I am not Hispanic. I have witness this treatment each time I buy from this Panda Express location. I do not like the Chow Mein noodles and do not like the Orange chicken. I buy for my child. My experience at Panda Express has been pleasing. My last visit was 1/18/20 ordering a plate with Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, and Chow Mein which was delicious. When eating you can taste the sweetness of the Orange Chicken and the slight tanginess of the orange and for the Honey Walnut Shrimp, it has a nice crunch from the batter being sweet and the crunchy roasted walnuts, alongside the Chow Mein having a chewy texture and fried flavor being something savory. Teenagers are running the restaurant with almost no supervision. Really poor service today as a teenage girl wanted to wait on the cute boy instead of the adult who was next in line. Went for dinner with the family. I ordered the two plate entree and they were out of a lot of things. It was almost nine, so not sure if they were trying to limit what they were cooking. It was busy though and I think the kitchen got overwhelmed. On the plus side everything was hot off the wok. When I pulled up to the menu board to place my order, Jayden was very rude and all he said was "what do you want?". A few moments later when I pulled up to the window and looked in, I saw Jayden taking orders with the headset and plating them. He was directly dealing with the open food and had his mask hanging around his neck. How can that be safe for any customers in the middle of this pandemic? She went behind the counter and started putting together his to-go order - with her bare hands. I watched her pick up the Spring rolls with her bare fingers and put them in their little baggies. Absolutely the worst experience ever. I waited forever in the drive thru. Then when I expected to receive my order at the window, I was then told there was no chow mein. They asked me to pull into a spot, and it would be brought out in five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, I went inside. No one ever came out. They then told me it would be another ten minutes because they were now out of orange chicken. They did give me Dr. Pepper syrup, no carbonation. Disgusting! I told them I wanted a refund since they couldn't even give me my food. They said they couldn't issue a refund. So I left with no food, no money, and Dr Pepper syrup. I really love Panda Express! The food is usually pretty good! This location is managed very poorly. Been here a few times and the wait is always 20+ minutes before they slowly take your order. It seems like they are always under staffed. Don't even dare attempt the drive thru unless you have 30min to wait for food. Every time I've been inside there's at least 10-15 people waiting in line... place is slammed and there is 1 person taking everyone's order and the same person checks everyone out.... you can only imagine how slow that goes. This place needs a big staffing adjustment to accommodate the demand. This past time I spend about 25min waiting inside to order... and there was only 6 people in front of me in the line. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go to the drive thru, as it was designed by a sadist. You'll be on the road with your food faster if you just park your car and walk inside for takeout. If someone pulls in behind you and you change your mind about waiting 15 minutes for your food, too bad, buster! There's no way out but forward and your lunch break is shot! The staff is quite friendly and they're really doing their best, but they all seem so spread thin and exhausted. I feel like this place would be a lot better if they'd just hire a few more folks, both because I like fast service, and also so I don't get this weird guilty feeling about making my server's day harder than it already is.
