I come here often, probably too often haha, but everytime I can remember, I've had a very good experience. The staff has always been friendly, with a quick greeting while walking through the door, or a smiley sounding 'welcome' over the drive-thru speaker. Yes, there have been a couple times I had to wait a little bit for food, but I'd rather that then have soggy Orange Chicken served to me. Ordered a pickup order for my girlfriend and got a notification saying it was ready for pickup inside 3 mins later. Pulled up to the restaurant and had to park outside of the parking lot because the drive thru line wrapped around the building. No problem, but when I got to the door to pickup my order inside, as the app instructed, the door was locked. I made eye contact with multiple employees who proceeded to look away. I was standing there hoping to be handed my pickup order. When I finally maintained eye contact with one of the workers, she proceeded to point to the drive thru line and spin her finger, implying I need to go wait in line, while I was holding up the pickup order confirmation on my phone. Keep in mind, I could see my order sitting on the shelf ready to go. Considering I had already paid for the order, I needed to get in the line to pick it up. 15-20 mins later, I got to the window, where the employee who told me to go to the drive thru waited. She handed me the food and, before I could ask for chilli sauce, she closed the window on me. Keep in mind, I sat through all of this, only to get a very small portion of cold food. I ordered a plate and received less than a bowl portion size. It was mostly liquid, which proceeded to leak out into my car's interior on the way home, because of how it was positioned in the paper bag. Panda is good, but this one isn't. Definitely an over-promise, under-deliver situation. It turned a good day into a bad day. This would've been avoided by not advertising pickup inside as an option. read more

I went in to order and had forgotten my mask. The 3 people in line in front of me did not have masks on either. so I didn't bother to put one on. When it came my time to order, the same young lady that waited on the people in front of me told me I had to put a mask on. I did put a mask on but asked why I had to when the people in front of me didn't. I was not rude to her but simply asked a question. I also have a medical release. While I was asking her she began my order and had the plate in her hand but without word, she dropped the plate on the counter and turned, and walked away to help someone else, not saying anything to me. Every experience I have with this Panda Express just keeps getting worse and worse. This evening I pulled into the drive through at 8:30. When I pulled up I was greeted with an automated message and nothing further. I waited for about two more minutes before I had to say 'hello' to get someone to help me. Immediately I was told 'I can take your order whenever you're ready' I then proceeded to order. I wanted to order a bowl with half rice and half chow mein and was told that they were out of rice for the rest of the night. (This is Panda Express, they are open for about an hour and a half longer, why are they out of rice??) but people make mistakes so I said okay I'll just take chow mein. Then I went to order orange chicken for my entree. I was then informed that they were out of orange chicken and many other entrees. Okay fine I decided on a different entree. I was asked if I would like anything else. I told them could I get a medium root beer. I was then told they are OUT OF ROOT BEER. At this point I decided that I wasn't going to pay for things that I didn't want so I canceled my order and waited for the people ahead of me to be served and to leave the drive through. It's amazing to me how every single item I wanted, PLUS SOME including soda, was out with still an hour and a half till closing. The least that could've been done is a sign outside that said all the items that were missing. I wasted 15 minutes in the drive through for no food or drink at least I didn't waste my money and wont be wasting either again in the near future. read more

Besides the fact that we could not pay with our debit card because their internet was not working. (Other stores nearby had internet service). We had already went through the food line with a hungry 2 year old only to find they would not even take a check for $5.40 for the 2 year old's food. There were no signs on the front door or at the food line that they required cash only. I discovered something important while waiting to speak to the manager. The kitchen was piled high with dirty pots and pans in the same area as they were preparing food. Due to the volume of pots, it looked like those pans had been there all day. I never leave reviews, good or bad, but I'm so annoyed and frustrated. When a place says open until 9:30, you expect food until that time, right? I've worked in the food industry before and I know everything going on with covid makes things harder, but you don't just stop making food when you feel like it to make closing faster and easier. I didn't expect to pull into drive through at 9:05 and be told they only have two menu items left... so I order those two items and when I get home I open my Togo box and see there is THREE pieces of orange chicken..... like come on guys... Unfortunately this isn't the first time I've had bad experiences at this place. I've ordered o line and only received partial orders. We only go back because it's one of the few places that's open a little later around us. At the end of the day I am always thankful for the people who are working, I respect that. read more

2 years after COVID and they are still short staffed with no lobby open. Drive thru is long, there is no bathroom access, the drive they speaker is hard to hear, and no sauce was given. Food is meh but the staff is working hard and the order was correct at least. read more

Food is always fresh and hot, and I've never had an issue with the staff. My only complaint is that they are often out of a random dish. More than half the time they are just out of vegetables all together. Please prep more vegetables! This is the ONLY fast food restaurant in all of Redmond where you can get vegetables in your fast food, and since the only other side options are an unreasonable amount of carbs, eating here goes right out the window for me as someone with diabetic family members if you don't have the vegetables. I want to eat here more, but I often choose not to because of it. read more

This is only getting 1 Star because I had to give it one to leave a review. When I first walked up to order I observed a staff drinking her personal drink out of her personal container and leave it at working bar. This caught my attention and I began to observe more. The girl that accepted our money, went right back to serving food without washing her hands or wearing gloves. Matter of fact, no one wore gloves. I watched as they wiped down counters (and left rags on the serving counter), take out trash, return to work from the restroom and cook food while wiping their foreheads. I'm not one to leave reviews (good or bad). I'm also not one to be picky or impatient about restaurants/fast food spots. But this location has disappointed far to many times and it's getting ridiculous. It seems like every time me and my family go here they ALWAYS miss something. A few times back they missed 2 whole plates & when we went back to get them WITH the receipt in hand the girl at the drive through window said in a snotty voice "we missed all that?" Like she didn't believe us or something. The time after that it was 2 orders of spring rolls etc etc... Tonight we ordered 5 plates online for pickup. When checking out the website said the food would be ready at 7:53 (in about 30 minutes). No big deal, as we were getting a good amount of food. We make it there at 7:50 & were told at the drive through that the a few entrees needed to be made.. okay.. they had 30 min to get the order ready but alright. We went to the front parking lot to wait. We ended up getting our food around 8:30 a whole 40 min+ from when we got there PLUS the 30 min from when the order was originally put in. In this time they weren't super busy at all and I watched them as they made countless other people's food in store and even another pick up orders well before ours was even thought of. 10/10 wouldn't recommend this location. If you're really craving panda it's almost more worth it to drive to the Bend location. read more

Absolutely horrible location. Half the time the lobby is closed. The other half the drive-thru doesn't open when it's supposed to. Just tried driving through at 11:22 (they're supposed to open at 10:30) and we were turned away and told they don't open until 11:30 today. I then had to wait for them to serve all the people in line, which caused them not to have the orange chicken so I had to wait for that. If I could give this place no stars, I would. Came through the drive thru with 4 easy orders. Gave the lady my first order and then was RUDELY interrupted and yelled at by whoever was working the window 11/28 around 2pm. After repeating myself a handful of times (because she literally didn't listen to a SINGLE thing I had to say) I tried to make sure my order was correct and was RUDELY interrupted a final time. Finally get through the order and up to the window just to have my food and card basically thrown through the window of my car. Spent almost $50 for nothing and just about the worst Panda experience ever.. not to mention a household full of unhappy people. Went through the drive through at 6:45 pm My little boy just wanted rice. They were busy no big deal but only 2 cars in front of me and it took 45 mins. Ramone took my card before he told me my total then handed it back saying $26 something. I was like what I just got rice. He though I ordered 3 meals. NOPE oh "I can't refund your card, I have to give cash back..." WHY? OK whatever my kid is hungry and I need to go.. He shorted me $7 and I had to drive back and go in. Then he was rude with me. After ordering 4 meals and drinks and not receiving fortune cookies yesterday, I immediately went inside and asked for a few to go with our food. Not only was Samantha (the person working the counter) rude but she charged me for the cookies that I normally receive for free. I'm not bickering about the price, but the service. It wasn't really busy or a rush, otherwise I would have understood if that slipped. People with attitudes like that should either work back of house or not work in the food industry. If I could give this place a zero star I would. The food is always a random draw. One day it's good, the next time it's inedible. And should I talk about portion size, well that's what brought me to this review. Consistently my son orders the bigger plate. One side and three choices for your entree. My son almost always goes with the same entree every time. And it's always hit or miss, sometimes he actually get the right amount, sometimes he doesn't even get enough to be a regular plate. Unfortunately we didn't check it while we were there, so once we got home, there was barely a regular plate of food, which happens more than I care to admit that I've let it happen. I couldn't take it anymore so i called to talked to a manager and complain about their service, from waiting in line forever to waiting "five" minutes for our order to be complete which takes no less than 15 minutes each time. I was ready to bring all these things to their attention. Now if only someone would answer their phone. The first time I called it rang for almost 3 minutes, so I looked up the number again and dialed again, with no success then I hung up asked my son to look up the phone number and it he found the same number I was calling, so I called again and just let it ring. The phone rang for 4 minutes and 4 seconds and then disconnected. We will not be back to this panda express. I am willing to try the one in Bend. But it really upsets me that these people don't care one bit at how upset I am about their lack of care or management July 10,2020 Ok. I can't believe I'm saying this because I've only had bad reviews for panda. They must have new management. To get through the line is quick. I haven't had to wait "5 minutes which was actually 20 to 25 minutes" for my food. They have had everything that I've ordered, even when I've gotten there later in the evening. We ordered food via the website as I do all the time in the bend location where i have never had an issue. When we arrived at the time that our food was supposed to be ready and walked up to the online pickup we were told that we have to go wait in the ordering line to be able to receive our food that was ready and bagged up. I can understand our food not quite being ready and being asked to wait a moment but we were treated very rudely and had to wait in line for preordered food for literally no reason. First off, I just wanna say that I LOVE their food. The biggest problem I have with them is that if you dont get to their restaurant by 6:30pm or so, they probably aren't going to have the food you want, and I cant tell you how many times I've been there and was told that they only have a few items left and they aren't going to make any more of the others, even though they have a sign up saying that if they are out of something to just let them know and they'll make it. Its frustrating beyond words. And my wife and I have called the next day to talk to a manager about this and they just say "Sorry" and act as if they could really care less. If you are really in the mood for Chinese food, I highly suggest that you find another place, or just make the trip to the Bend Panda (which is what we've been having to resort to). read more

I was waiting to order when I glanced around the empty restaurant and noticed that it was full of food and muck. Looked as if it had not been cleaned in a week. It was absolutely disgusting. Once I got to the counter I mentioned the dirty state of the restaurant and was met with a snobby teen who said "yeah it's been busy" while looking at the empty restaurant. We decided it was too dirty to eat there so we left. It was a real shame because the Panda Express corporation makes great food, but the location was horrible. read more

I gave a one star review because they often will short your drive through order. Otherwise the service at the drive through has been fine. The staff turnover appears large, I never see the same face twice. Now, in my opinion, the food here is really really good, far superior, to me, than any other food of this type in Redmond. It can be seriously scrumptious. But if you go through the drive through stop and check your boxes before you leave. Today we went and got specialty items that cost a bit more. When we got home one of the two entree meals was almost empty, hardly any food, I mean less than 1 cup of food. The 2nd one had a TON of fried rice, way more than normal which is fine by me but it also had a very small amount of the entree. Their new Pacific chili shrimp is GREAT, too bad I had 3 mouthfuls for $9.40. A regular plate with two entrees is 6.90$ which is a very good price. The one I had I was charged 1.25 extra for each entree even though sadly I didn't get enough to even be equal to a "normal" single entree plate. It's very, very disappointing. Like Joe Pesci said in Lethal Weapon 2, "They **** you at the drive thru", which was so funny in that movie because it was true in 1989 and it's still true today! UPDATE: It happened again, yesterday 5/20/2016, two orders at the drive through, both badly shorted. But we've wised up and caught it, handled them back and they apologized. What I want to know is why doesn't it ever happen in reverse? Why don't we get tons sometimes? When there is a problem it's always a short. UPDATE: 10/04/16. Nothing has changed. Horrible service from 1 employee, very rude, slammed down the soy sauce packets on the glass food cover. Very snarky when I was looking at the entrees to see what my kids would like. The chicken my sister ordered wasn't ready so she waited for it to be cooked, said employee just gave me a snarky look when I went to check if the chicken was done, my sister went to get sauce for her meal and the employee was standing there asked for a thing of sauce employee looked at my sister put the sauce ladle down and walked away. So, Panda Express is the only fast food Chinese, right? Someone knows what they are doing, at corporate Panda Express! The prices are decent, and the food is great. They give you samples - who doesn't like samples? There is no gross fat in the meat, and the veggies are fresh... I love fresh. This particular store gets my vote because I, being the ding dong I am, LEFT MY PHONE in this store! OMG, MY PHONE!! My faith in human decency is - getting better - because the nice people in this store didn't steal my phone. I got it back after TWO HOURS of not knowing it was missing... 5 stars for that, I would give six if I could. (& I only say "getting better" because some scum bag threw an entire trash can into the Crooked River in a campground above Prineville, and a nice BLM person had to fish it out - seriously people, what is wrong with some of you?!
