Foods always great at this location. I know when I'm on the mood for Panda Express I know it won't disappoint

Well I went through the drive thru to get my craving. Well sad to say I'm disappointed. Is there a reason I'm getting more "side" than "entree"?? I ordered the plate. Got beef&broccoli and veggie spring rolls. Then for my side I ordered half white rice and half chow mein. In the picture below I separated out the beef from the broccoli to see just how much I got. And it's barely any beef or broccoli!! There's literally 4 pieces of broccoli and maybe 5 or 6 little pieces of beef. Why do I have more "side" then "entree"??? I'm very confused and upset because I was really looking forward to my beef and broccoli. Then I try my rice because something just doesn't look right. My rice is all stuck together like a big clump. I'm just overall upset. read more

This location continues to decline. While the food is decent, there seems to be a huge focus on saving $$. The last 3 visits: Chow Mein is all cabbage with a few noodles, the Beef & Broccoli has 2-3 strips of beef and a ton of broccoli, the orange chicken is hit/miss, sometimes good portions and tonight about 4 pieces of chicken and a ton of rice. It's the only real option around here and the kids still like it but it has to get better. When it opened, it was great. Great customer service, good food, good portions, etc. But about a 6 months ago it started declining. Not sure what happened. Maybe new management. read more

I was super disappointed today during lunch. Decided to surprise my kiddos and take them Panda at school. Got to the High School and the rice was hard as a rock, the beef with broccoli literally had no beef. Like Not One Piece! Just old looking broccoli. I have always been a Panda fan (the hubby is not) but I probably won't be back. It is quick and I understand it's fast food, but quality can still happen. What happened to Panda Express? I ordered a 3 entree platter, thinking my wife and I would have a meal, then have leftover for a later snack. Nope. The small portions were enough to feed a 12 year old at one sitting. One entree portion fit entirely in a spoon. The store is ripping people off. Chinese food is not expensive to make. Looking at the prices being charged and the portions being given, this place has to be making a killing. I won't be going back to this place. Too bad, I used to like it. read more

Food and service was good for about a month. Then it just deteriorated. I gave it a chance once a week, since it opened, and I've tried for years until tonight when the kitchen was closed at 9:15. I don't want your high schooler fast food that has no quality and no shits given. The food is always cooked differently and sometimes undercooked. Rice hard as a rock. Veggies raw. This is so far the best Chinese food in the area. It's quite convenient since you can make your order online. I'd give it a 5-star if the food still taste delicious and not too greasy when it is cold. read more

We were instantly greeted and Kelly was very sweet and helpful to my 82 yr old mother in law. All the staff was very pleasant. It was nice to see that there is still great customer service around. Left with a smile and will be back. read more

I had more walnuts in my Honey Walnut Shrimp than I had beef in my Beef and Broccoli. Pretty disappointing and this is very common for this location. Seriously had about a lb of broccoli and 2 pieces of beef. The chowmein is mostly veggies and hardly any noodles. The only decent thing is the fried rice. read more

The worst service I have experienced in years. A line into the street at the drive thru, a line to the door inside, and no one taking or preparing orders, even with plenty of food available. Three employees were just staring at their cell phones, including Jesus, who I presume is the manager because his shirt was a different color. They didn't even acknowledge the customers presence, or that they would be with us soon. I had to leave after 10 minutes because I was in a hurry, which is why I chose your garbage fast food restaurant in the first place. Well 2 months and the service and the food start fade. Today will probably be my last time eating here. No more Crispy chicken. The Teriyaki chicken not cooked so you taste the flour or what ever the put on it. Staff trying to rush you through line even though you are one of 5 people in the building. And the portions get smaller and smaller. One glimmer of hope at this location. There is one staff member that shines Madison friendly and cares, If it's one of the young is guys is at counter leave and come back when she is at counter. read more

While the food is standard Panda Express fare, the service is awful. They get every order I place wrong. Then, since you have to do curbside or drive through, it's a pain to correct the orders. I normally don't give a bad review unless I've used the services more than twice. We have gone here several times over the past couple months and orders are always wrong. This panda sucks big time ! Have given them several opportunities when I travel by area but no dice ! They have a serious management issue . The place is dirty most of the time and be prepared to eat whatever is at the bottom of the pan cause they don't keep track of what is on the serving line . One time they were out of rice !! Steamed white rice and soy sauce !! Like really !! That says it all ! Had my fiancé pick up some panda. I love panda and I'm five months pregnant. We live in canyon lake and when he got home my chicken teriyaki had no sauce. Food is always great here. It's actually our favorite Chinese food in San Antonio. Yesterday, I dropped my truck off at the nearby Discount Tire for service. I walked to the Panda Express, arriving early, and guessing that the employee saw me walking over, he let me in to wait out of the cold. They were very accommodating, and I really appreciate that. I wish I had caught the employee's name so as to give him a personal "SHOUT OUT." And thanks for switching over to COKE products. :) read more

Came to this new location to pick up some food about 10 minutes before they closed. I did not expect much, but I was blown away by how efficient and kind the employees were. Despite it being 10 minutes from closing, the food was fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back! read more

I tried to settle down by reading the other reviews. It looks like a majority of the one star reviews are correct. We went tonight, ordered online. The food arrived over 20 minutes after it was suppose to be ready. The waitress refused to give me the managers name. Once I did get to talk to the gentleman that said he was a cook and manager he was very polite. I asked for a refund and was told he was not able to do refunds. Next time we will go to one in San Antonio or some other restaurant. There are places that want our business in Bulverde. read more

This will certainly get you a quick fix for fresh Chinese take out but check the menu online first. My family likes General Tso, Sesame Chicken, Egg Drop soup and other typical Chinese options but those aren't served there. I didn't get any fortune cookies either so 3 stars is all I can give. Not too pleased with the last couple of times that I visited this restaurant. 1st time I went through the drive-through about 6 o'clock and was told that they ran out of ingredients about a month ago so they couldn't fulfill my order. Not a problem as I just selected something different on the menu. Recently I placed an order online for a delivery and I gave it some time before I called into the restaurant to be informed that I received the same excuse as they do not have ingredients and they're all out of food granted the delivery option took shouldn't took 30 minutes before I reached out.. Talking with who ever was in charge at the moment I was informed that they cannot cancel my order so at that point I would have to email or call in to Panda Express themselves to cancel my order for full refund. Called in to Panda Express and got the refund fixed in 5 to 7 business days. But as a caution it seems kind of shady in the lack of wanting to help the customer was not better. read more

I want to give a thumbs up the management team at the Panda Express in Bulverde and GM of the area. First we had a drive thru order and when we got home the meal was not what was expected (that's not the point for this). We did call the store and my wife explained the issue. She spoke with one of the managers and also requested the number of their supervisor. She called them and received a call back almost immediately, mind you this was 730pm. He told my wife he appreciated the call and told her they will look into the problem and would "make it right" Well they did and also we received follow up calls from two managers. I don't have a problem with the food. The food is usually pretty good. I always ask for sweet and sour sauce and the teriyaki sauce when I order my food at the menu board. Before I leave I check my bag and most all the time they don't put any of my sauces in the bag even though I ask for them when I place my order. Very frustrating because they should already be in the bag, and when you tell the person at the window they forgot to put the sauce in the bag, they are rude about it. So we came through the drive thru for some Orange Chicken, and well first of all we waited behind one car for about 10-15 minutes which seems a little much considering all food should already be made. My wife ordered a Bowl of Orange Chicken with Brown Rice, and I ordered a plate of Orange Chicken with Mixed Vegetables. When I got home to eat I opened up my Orange Chicken Plate with Mixed Vegetables and I became so frustrated because the vegetables were not even cooked they were straight raw! Second of all the Orange Chicken we ordered was spicy...really spicy and I've never known it for that to be like that. The young lady who served me, and I regret that I do not know her name, was "extraordinary". I told her it was my first visit and she helped me with selections, provided a couple of sample tastes, and was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and patient. The selection is very inclusive. The two entrees that I took home, along with fried rice and egg rolls, were outstanding. The overall quality and flavors were excellent. My wife and I will no longer have to drive into San Antonio for really good Chinese food! read more

I was very disappointed. I requested fried rice and vegetables with 2 entrees. I got noodles and no fried rice. I asked 3 times for sweet sauce, chopsticks and soy sauce. I could tell it was not in my bag. I asked again and they gave me soy sauce and chopsticks and told me the sweet sauce was in the box. It was not. The beans in the string bean chicken were over cooked. I have been to Panda Express many times but never through the drive through. I was very disappointed. read more

Employees don't greet you, don't ask if they can help you, are rude and don't even try to make the experience pleasant. On top of that every time I've used their drive thru they've gotten the order wrong. Don't order chicken teriyaki, you'll definitley get chicken sans teriyaki however. Tried calling their phone and surprise surprise... it's disconnected. I don't know if the issue is mismanagement or just laziness but this is the only Panda Express location I've had issues with. read more
