This review is not on the food which is good but on the unusable on line ordering system. I have tried 4 times each day for 2 days. Using on line and also the app from 2 different iPhones and 2 different people. Each time I would get a message of unable to verify the charge and/or unable to contact Panda Express. Ordered chow main and orange shrimp along with orange chicken and vegetables egg rolls. The shrimp was tender and full of sweet spice favor. Orange chicken was good too. The chow main was over cooked. The noodles were soggy. A little more cabbage would have been nice. But overall a decent meal at a decent price. My family and I are very frequent customers. The Tumwater location more than others. For the first time I ordered online, to go. I got literally half the amount of each item than I would've if I went in, like I usually do.. I am disappointed that I spent $40, as I typically do getting dinner there, all to get screwed out of a full meal for my family. My 5 year old finished her to go plate..... two entrees and a half order of noodles and rice.. she weighs 45 lbs and barely finishes her happy meal.. gives you a general sense how little food was in our order. With any franchise consistency is paramount. This did not happen tonight.. unfortunately I have a 10 month old who hates car rides. Otherwise I would've loaded all the kids up and drove back to see why the quality and quantity is different compared to when I'm there watching them put food in our to go bins.. definitely won't order online again. read more

This store always has fantastic food and great service. The food is freshly cooked, consistent in flavor at every visit, and priced very reasonable. I've never had food that was sitting for a long time --- the chefs cook just the right amount of food each time so they don't run out quickly but also don't have an abundance of food that gets old or cold. The staff are really friendly too. They don't try to up-sell anything, they just politely offer different alternatives and always offer a sample, especially of new items. read more

Quality food fast and friendly my expectations were exceeded and everything was exactly right it was my very first time being at a Panda Express and it will not be my last. I don't personally eat the food that they sell at Panda Express but I am very happy that they made my mission very easy and user-friendly. I went to Panda years ago and had the worst experience ever. Food was dry and old. But ever since Joe took it over, it has been fresh and crisp and never old. My co-workers and I love going there for lunch. We cant go often because of our shifts and what time they open but we try. It is sad when they took away some menu items, but their Orange chicken is to die for and I haven't found anything yet that I don't like. The only issue I have (Which is why it isn't a 5 ) is that the portions very a lot. I know it is because of who is dishing it out, but it can vary quite a lot sometimes. read more

Panda defiantly isn't authentic Chinese food if that's what you're looking for, but the ever so popular orange chicken really does live up to its name. The chow mien and fried rice is okay and the string bean with chicken is alright. The service is quick and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Panda Express - Orange chicken, 10/10 would eat again - Chinese Near Me - Tumwater, Washington

This is my go-to spot when I want an American-Chinese food fix since it's closer to my house than other Panda locations. However, they are not very good at giving appropriate portions in the Panda Bowls. I realize I'm getting a $5 meal, but filling the container almost the way full of veg and then putting a small scoop of entree on top is not okay. This is an issue at this location no matter the time of day or week. I weigh my food at home (as part of my diet control, not to be a miser) and I'm never getting the listed amount of any entree when they do this with a Panda Bowl. But if I get anything in a to-go box, each entree is close to 3 servings per the website data. So, two entree to-go orders are the best way to get what you're actually paying for. I usually save the rest for lunch the next day. They never hesitate to cook you fresh food (when your choice is low/out) and that's nice. It takes a little longer, but worth the wait to have it fresh off the wok. Dining area has plenty of seating should you choose to dine in. It's generally clean and the silverware/lid/straw/napkin are is always appropriately stocked. read more

I have had the same consistent experience in all of my last 3 visits here. Service was prompt and efficient. Staff were all friendly, attentive, hard working and in constant motion. Would give 5 stars if the portions remained the same as they were when they started out. I pay extra for the walnut shrimp, yet they count the shrimp as they put it on your plate. Why am I paying extra when the serving is half of all the other dishes. read more

Omg this panda express is the best. They are so nice, they give great portions and food is good. All haters can eat thai food if they want to complain as there is no good chinese in oly, nut this panda express is like a broken gem.
