Honestly I'm super accommodating for food service workers and how much they have to do and deal with. HOWEVER, the decline of this location needs to be studied, the food quality gets worse every time I come here??? It's so weird! I'm pretty much officially done with eating Panda as my hard earned money can't keep getting wasted on hard chicken, underdressed entrees, stiff noodles, and clumpy rice... I won't even begin about the little but aggravating gestures or body language the staff gives off even the managers who are in all black. Me and my family have been eating here for years but I came for lunch got a simple bowl with teriyaki chicken I found this huge glob of cold I don't know what I bit into so I took my plate to worker and asked WHAT is this. He take my plate and ask the other lady and they tell me it looks like Sesame chicken and gives it back to me like I'm the crazy one. I asked for the manager and he says they are the manager and then they start talking under their breath. I asked what they were going to do and he said I give a small container of teriyaki chicken. I ordered online for a pick-up and it was ready by the time I got to the restaurant. 1 x Chow Mein 1 x Fried Rice 1 x The Original Orange Chicken 1 x Broccoli Beef 1 x Mushroom Chicken The Mushroom Chicken was the best dish. Both the Chow Mein and the Fried Rice were very dry. The flavor of the Original Orange Chicken was good, but had too much "crust" on the outside, less chicken. The broccoli in the Broccoli Beef was barely blanched, if at all. It was very crunchy, so beware for your jaw. The beef were small pieces here and there. The service was great, and the food was packaged in a very cute, handy to-go box - very sturdy and easy to carry. I called the restaurant to check if I could pick-up in store, and the phone was answered promptly. Since I hadn't been here in awhile, I was not sure if I could pick-up inside or only through the drive-thru. I thought we all knew that. lol! It's an old classic that always tastes the same. I miss the real Asian food locations in Alhambra and Monterey Park so this will have to do but I'll never compare them to authentic Asian food; ya can't! Came here for a quick dinner last night. I appreciate that this store stays open fairly late (closes at 9:30pm) amidst this pandemic. This store is located right next to McDonald's and they partially share a parking lot. It's a bit annoying to get to the drive-thru because there are cones set up to only have cars go one way, blocking your path to the drive-thru. Now you have to go all the way around McDonald's just to get to Panda. The food was decent. Not bad, but not the greatest. I ordered a 3-entree plate: orange chicken, string bean chicken breast, and honey walnut shrimp with brown rice and chow mein. I would've given 4 stars, but the food wasn't that warm when I got it. The employees were very nice but when I kindly mentioned the sprite was flat no one took care of it. They said oh I'm so sorry. I was eating my meal inside so I did not mind waiting and they could SEE me waiting. Then I proceeded to wait until someone did something. Then another customer came in and mentioned it. Waited a bit more and still nothing was done. There were about 5 employees in the front doing something with the food but not one person took care of the soda machine. The receipt paper wasn't working so I couldn't get that to confirm my refund and then was told it was not able to go back on the card. Then top THAT off I asked for a refund and received $1.35! A soda is $2.20!! They then proceeded to add MORE change instead of giving me another dollar. Horrible experience. I understand things happen but when TWO customers mention something it should be taken care of right away. That is just simply doing your job. The manager did give me a card but I just wanted my sprite with my meal(they also could have offered the bottle of sprite I would have been happy with that) honestly will not be back to this one if I want a nice peaceful meal.
