I went out of my way for decent taki outie. The staff appears to treat you like their doing you a favor by enduring your business, but this I found to be cultural, and the owner over time seemed to have a good heart. Sadly the last time I picked up, I called back to express my disappointment with the quality of my order, it was meet with a curt "and?" We always get the dinner combos ( Moo goo gai pan with veggie fried rice and beef and broccoli with vegetable lo mein) and a large eggdrop soup. I work for a business where we ordered Panda House once a week over the course of two years. We truly loved Panda House. Today we ordered a staff lunch for our office. The food arrived fast but we were appalled to see that one of our staff members found a bug cooked into her broccoli. It seemed to be a stink bug or something that resembled it. A second staff member found a huge wad of hair in her lunch special. We understand that things happen, so we called the owner of Panda House to let her know our findings. She was very rude and stated that in order for us to receive any refund we needed to return the food. The staff member that had hair in her food had already tossed her food into the trash. The owner stated that she needed to remove her food from the trash can and return it to them in order to receive credit for that meal. Our staff member told her to disregard that meal as she was not digging in the trash for the meal. The delivery driver appeared about 20 minutes later to collect our un eaten food, the broccoli with the attached bug and the wad of hair that was placed in a napkin for the owner's review. The driver tried to give a crazy story about the bug getting into the food on the drive over to our office which is about three minutes from Panda. House. Although, you could clearly tell the bug was dead and it had been cooked with the food. He then changed the story and said that it could have been a problem with the produce. Our office is very disappointed in the way we were treated after relaying our issues to the owner/manager. Instead of being apologetic she was angry, rude and condescending. Panda house accepted no fault what so ever. We will not be ordering from Panda House again. Please check all your food for bugs. read more

I wanted to try this place because of the cold sesame noodles. They were delicious, coated in a mixture of peanut butter and soy sauce. I also enjoyed the tofu with mixed veggies and egg roll. This is your standard Chinese take out place. I would return if I were in the area, I wish it were closer to my home, I would order from here often! The parking is a bit of nightmare, a lot of aggressive do not park here and towing signs, I'm not sure if there is parking in the back. ordered take out just last night at this place. we live in the area and are customers of just about every business around this small shopping center especially the postal place and sippers. this was my first time at Panda House since i was in the area for last minute Chinese. the food was pretty good for Chinese - we usually frequent a place on St John's Bluff, but this was pretty comparable - even a little better i would say. the portions are fine, just no added chow/lo mein which would have been an added plus if included. the wait was longer than normal because of the Thanksgiving rush, but not terrible. one awkward thing i do want to comment on was that the main cook and the mom were busy getting the orders cooked and ready/packaged. the daughters were taking orders on the phone and customers walking in. one of the daughters (older one i think) was just so rude and disrespectful to her mother in the way she talked to her behind the counter. very obvious disdain and irritation in the tone towards her mother. mind you, she was fairly calm and collected to customers on the phone and when taking orders, but as a customer sitting in the main dining room waiting for the order, this was very awkward, unprofessional, and frankly disrespectful to customers as well. i will still visit this place again because the food was decent enough, but GIRL, you need some discipline in etiquette and RESPECT towards your elders - especially your mom who obviously works so hard for you and your family. read more

I must confess, I'm kinda a Chinese take out junkie. I always order the same few things thus it's not difficult for me to make judgement on a place for my returned business. Not only do I enjoy the tasty grub from this eatery I appreciate their honesty as well. Yesterday I came in to order the norm, this time I had an additional two orders to add to it. I paid and waited for my order not thinking twice about it. Upon receiving the grub I was approached by an extremely polite woman who was apologetic and explained to me that I was overcharged. She printed two copies of the corrected amount assuring me the mistake had been corrected and to keep the corrected receipt in case there was an issue. She didn't have to bring this to my attention, and I would have never noticed it. But I am grateful for her honesty and I will continue to dine here with confidence that they truly appreciate my business! read more
