Panda Inn has been a very special place for my mom and I for the past 30 years. I decided to take my mom back to Panda Inn tonight to celebrate her 65th birthday and Jenny made it extra special. There was also an instant Filipino connection. Jenny was so professional, courteous, hospitable and extremely thoughtful. She was very attentive throughout the meal and she was genuinely invested with ensuring we had a lovely time and it was memorable. The food was delicious, she checked in at the right time throughout our dinner and she even went the extra mile with bringing out her other colleagues to sing Happy Birthday to my mom with a special treat. This made it very special for my mom, especially since her turning 65 is a major milestone and there is no better place for us to celebrate it than Panda Inn where we've had so many memories over these past 3 decades. Thank you, Jenny for making her birthday extra special! read more

One of the best Chinese restaurants, needs to have location in LA. Definitely recommend this place

This place was amazing. Food was great and the ambiance was nice. Imagine panda express food but 10 times fancier and better quality. Service was also great. Will recommend to people. read more

I would always try to come here at least once a week when I was living in Glendale. The staff is very welcoming. The wait times are usually pretty low even on busy nights. Food is pretty solid. It's a little greasy during some visits, sometimes just right. Perfect to satisfy any cravings for Chinese food. The chocolate covered fortune cookies are a nice touch. Great for any family or company gatherings. read more

Do not order delivery from here. They are always very late. Today it was 4 1/2 hours late and they wouldn't refund me. The worst delivery service I've ever experienced. read more

Ordered takeout two days ahead with a pick up time for 5:30 PM showed up at the proper time and they said it would be a two hour wait for the food which is ridiculous. Extremely poor service. They didn't even apologize for being late. People are starting to cancel their orders. They should get a new manager. read more

Last night our server Meg was exceptional - attentive & helpful. The chicken egg drop soup & mu shu pork were good. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was excellent. The scallop dish was so disappointing. The scallops were so overcooked they were bouncy & inedible. We will probably try it again. read more

This location is by far the best one compared to the location in Ontario. The ambience and the layout of this restaurant is more welcoming and appealing. Parking can be hit or miss unless you park on a lot or find street parking. The servers were on point and provided good customer service. This location also offers a small sushi menu! read more

I enjoyed my visit here! The food was great! We ordered the panda beef which had ginger, garlic, and sweet and spicy sauce. Not that oily either! We also ordered the walnut shrimp which surprisingly wasn't dry! On top of amazing food, we had great service from Jenny! Friendly, attentive, and delivers great customer service! Will definitely be coming back! read more

Panda Inn - Chinese Near Me - Glendale, California

What a pleasant surprise. I'm not a fan of the fast food Panda. So I was prepared to be underwhelmed. I loved the Peppercorn Shrimp! The Singapore Noodles were delicious. My guest really enjoyed the Braised String beans. I agree, the texture was just the right crunch and well seasoned. The Ginger Ginger Ale was refreshing. Our server Ruth made our meal even better with her warm smile and excellent service. I enjoyed our seat which gave us a view of the street and the restaurant. A lovely setting for our delicious meal. read more

My girlfriend and I were about to head home to the Bay Area and needed a place to have lunch. We learned about Panda Inn from a friend who LOVES Panda Express so we wanted to give it a try. Honestly, I had low expectations since my friend mentioned "Panda Express" but my overall experience greatly surpassed my expectations. We got there a few minutes after they opened so there was no wait and there were few customers. We were seated and the environment was very nice and clean. Even the bathrooms were beautiful. Considering this was our first time at Panda Inn, we wanted to order things that we could not find at Panda Express. We ordered panda rice, fish in black bean sauce, hot and sour soup, and a fortune cookie milk tea. Yelp had a check-in offer so we also got a free order of vegetable egg rolls. The food was absolutely delicious. I feel bad for having preconceived opinions of the place because the food and experience was greatly better than getting food at Panda Express. The panda rice was addicting and we could have honestly ordered more. The fish in black bean sauce was really good with good texture and not too salty. Hot and sour soup was really yummy and a must-have with your meal. The only downside from our meal was the fortune cookie milk tea. It was supposed to taste like a fortune cookie but it's not noticeable to me or my girlfriend. Our server, Carla, was very sweet and even gave us some fortune cookies to compare the tastes. Truthfully, it's not too noticeable and it tasted like a normal black milk tea. The staff here were so friendly. Carla took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. She visited the table frequently but not to the point of it being too much. Plus she was kind and chatted with us a bit about our visit to LA. At the end of our meal, Carla was very sweet and gifted us a bag of fortune cookies to take home. Best friendly service I've had at a restaurant in a long time. I very much recommend stopping by here. By the end of the meal, I was already messaging friends and family about the positive experience we had at Panda Inn. My girlfriend and I had a 6 hour drive back home to the Bay and we kept talking about lunch at Panda Inn. We can't wait to come back and try the other dishes. Thank you Carla and Panda Inn! read more

Visiting from the Bay; the family and I are staying at the Marriott around the corner. Decided to try this spot for take out since it was close by. It was walking distance, and had decent reviews. So glad, we did!! Everything that we ordered was delicious! Phoenix Chicken 5/5 , cross between sesame chicken, orange chicken, lemon chicken and kung pao chicken mixed together. Tender and flavorful. Assorted chow fun 5/5 very tasty. Honey walnut shrimp 10/10. My husband's favorite. Cooked to perfection. Not overly sweet and gooey. Garlic chicken 4/5- not exceptional, but good. Customer service was excellent. Manager Kimberly and hostess Val were top notch. Signed up for the rewards club and got a mini pack of 10 dumplings. So good!! I will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area. Lastly, chocolate covered fortune cookies!!! Need I say more?! read more

My family and I usually go to the Pasadena location because it's closer to where they live but since they're renovating until April we decided to come to this location. We ordered the egg drop corn soup, lettuce chicken wraps, vegetable lo mein, panda beef, string beans, and eggplant tofu with steamed tofu (instead of fried). Everything was so delicious minus the vegetable lo mein. It could've used more flavor. The highlight of our meal was actually the service. Ruth helped us out today and she was so attentive, calm, and kind. We asked a few times for either more rice or more hot sauce and she carried such a positive and patient demeanor. Thank you again Ruth! read more

Amazing food!! Can't believe I didn't try this spot sooner--specifically the honey walnut shrimp was my favorite!! Phoenix chicken is really good too(very similar to orange chicken). I can't wait to come back!! We all loved the touch of the white chocolate dipped fortune cookies at the end of the meal as well! read more

The food here is delicious! I highly recommend the Phoenix Chicken and the pork mini dumplings appetizer. Also, do yourself a favor and try the house made ginger ale - it's refreshing and hits the spot. Our server Ashtin was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Been here for years, but I've never been. It was time. Lovely place, simple but elegant, and seemingly very clean. A perfect canvas for the gf, pooch, and I to do our thang. Albert, our server, was fantastic. Kudos! Super nice, very knowledgeable, very efficient, and very friendly. We ordered: 1. Mini Pork Dumplings [$11, 5.0 stars] 2. Egg Rolls *free with Yelp check-in! [$9 value, 4.5 stars] 3. Lo Mein w/beef [$18, 5.0 stars] 4. Chicken Eggplant [$19, 4.0 stars] Everything was so fresh and delicious, and very generous portions. Loved!! read more

We celebrated my mother's 98th birthday at the Panda Inn Glendale. There were over 30 friends and relatives and the wait staff skillfully supervised by Mel handled our numbers with great finesse and consideration. Mel expertly advised me on the appropriate amounts needed to feed the number of people and did a great job knowing when to schedule serving the appetizers and then bringing out the entrees. Because we ended up with a few more people than we expected, she also suggested and accommodated us with extra seating which helped us feel more comfortable. What could have been an extremely stressful experience for us was made much easier by the professionalism and consideration of the staff that contributed greatly to making the experience so special for the special birthday of a special person. Also, the food was delicious! read more

Great food and awesome service! The place is very clean place !!! Will surely come back again!!!

One of my favorite place I normally go to for years but this time went for quick lunch and ended up ordering the usual orange chicken and beef broccoli, Chicken was great , beef kind of Old , wife wasn't able to eat it she tells me didn't like it , however i ate the portions thinking she doesn't like meat a lot , Right same day at night got stomachache and ended up getting food poisoning, and spent two days at home cause of it , Didn't mean to leave 2 stars but this place i stared going since they opened and i keep referring friends and family but i don't want them to get sick cause of an employee that used an Old meat Service always good read more

Great food and service. The food was delicious. Thank you Jennifer for your attentiveness.

NOT THE FAST FOOD PLACE... they are both the parent of those Panda Express and the polar opposite of the quick joints in food quality and selection. Fabulous, top-shelf Chinese food served by an incomparable staff in a beautiful setting. And they bring you their addictive fortune cookies that have been hand-dipped in white chocolate at the end of your meal! read more

I'm embarrassed to say how long I have lived in Glendale without trying this place. Suffice to say I stopped in today and was rewarded for my wait. lol. First thing to mention was the service. It was excellent start to finish. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. He answered all our newbie questions with patience and made us feel very welcome. Food was delicious and arrived in a timely manner. I will definitely be coming back. My only minor complaint was that there were no serving utensils supplied and no chopsticks... at a Chinese restaurant. I think I can get over it. read more

I had my retirement party on 6/7/25. A room was reserved for me. It was the perfect size for my party. They even had a little gift table by the window. Mel, Alfredo, and Emma were my servers. They were attentive and paid attention to the details. We ordered family style and the orange chicken was a hit. Would recommend this place for any party. read more

This place is exactly what you expect it to be. Panda Express dishes elevated to a restaurant level. The orange chicken, egg rolls, coconut shrimp, beef and broccoli were all excellent. Even the kung pao chicken was delicious and I'm usually not a fan. The chow mein was the only let down, not good at all. But they were nice enough to allow us to send it back. Portions are very large! We went with a group of 4 and definitely over ordered. The chocolate covered fortune cookies at the end are a nice touch read more

This place lacks service. Tried multiple times to call and no one answered-went straight to voicemail to inform them of error from our take out order for a birthday dinner and staff left out the sizzling rice of the sizzling rice soup and the lettuce for the chicken lettuce wraps. How do you miss the key ingredients in these orders? This will be the last time we will visit this place. What a disappointment for the birthday dinner. Definitely do NOT recommend. read more

Jenn was great, she was very polite and her service was excellent !! That atmosphere is nice as well
