It was excellent start to finish. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. He answered all our newbie questions with patience and made us feel very welcome. Tried multiple times to call and no one answered-went straight to voicemail to inform them of error from our take out order for a birthday dinner and staff left out the sizzling rice of the sizzling rice soup and the lettuce for the chicken lettuce wraps. This place is exactly what you expect it to be. Panda Express dishes elevated to a restaurant level. The orange chicken, egg rolls, coconut shrimp, beef and broccoli were all excellent. Even the kung pao chicken was delicious and I'm usually not a fan. The chow mein was the only let down, not good at all. But they were nice enough to allow us to send it back. Had my daughter's birthday there in their function rooms. We have celebrated many events in this location because the Pasadena location is closed. The service was excellent. The room was hot the whole event. It was also hot outside during the event and the glass windows was also hot. The staff tried their best to keep us comfortable but the air conditioner was overworking with the place at capacity. The manager gave a discount to the event as a courtesy which they didn't have to do. The staff even gave us some complimentary sushi. We will come back for the service and the food. read more

I started coming to Panda Inn in Glendale back in 1982, and my friends and I would visit at least once a week well into the '90s. The food was always solid, and the service was good. They closed down in 2016 for renovations and reopened in 2018. During their closure, I started visiting New Moon in Montrose, which became my go-to for Chinese food. Since Panda Inn reopened, I've only been there three or four times. The renovations were tastefully done, giving the place a high-end restaurant feel. A few weeks ago, I visited Panda Inn for lunch with a friend. I had the lunch special with ginger fish and brown rice, which was tasty as expected. What truly stood out was the level of service. Our waiter, Hai, was exceptional--one of the top five servers I've ever had. He was attentive, nice, and professional, making me feel like I was dining at a Michelin-rated restaurant.
