Panda Inn is a chain of sit down Chinese restaurants owned by Panda Restaurant Group. This one is located in La Palma. They have lunch specials, seafood, poultry, beef, pork, soups, noodles, and rice dishes. They have regular portions and family portions of most of the dishes. I've ordered the Lo Mein here twice. Once with assorted (chicken, beef, pork, and vegetables) and another time with shrimp. Great portions of the noodles. Love that the lo mein is saucy with a ton of flavor with soft and chewy texture. My husband loves the Chicken Fried Rice here. We've also had the Orange Chicken. The orange chicken is crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle with perfect sweet and sour flavor. They also give fortune cookies dipped in white chocolate at the end of the meal. Not a big fan of seating arrangement as tables are somewhat close together. There's booths and U shaped booths. I can hear conversations amplified around me if there's people sitting nearby. Be careful with the tablecloth or you might drag it down with you as it's a bit slippery. There's also bar seating available. Service has been great. We're usually greeted upon entry and seated immediately. Server would ask us if we would like anything to drink. Then would come back and ask us if we're ready to order. On the first visit, we waited quite a bit to get our food. On the second visit, we didn't wait that long. The servers would also pack the food in front of us if we needed to take the leftovers to go. Parking is not bad as the restaurant has its own parking lot so there's usually plenty of parking. Some parking spaces are compact and others are a big bigger. Love the food here. Would be back for another visit! read more

Great, open banquet type of space for big parties and family meals. It was so nostalgic to enjoy a Chinese meal here with my family, the lazy Susan, and meals that we could share easily. My mom and I came in here yesterday 4/30/26 for lunch. We had a reservation so we were taken right away. The restaurant is beautiful with stained glass adorable pandas on it. I have health issues and cannot have anything high in sodium. We ordered the vegetable soup with no noodles, no mushrooms, no tomatoes and no tofu. It came and was just a bunch of spinach in a flavorless broth. I've had vegetable soup at other Chinese and a Thai restaurants that have had flavor. Then we ordered the chicken lettuce cups very low to no sodium. It came out with no flavor so my mom said you could add just a touch of very little soy. When it came back it was a lot darker and tasted sweet and smoky which we knew had to be hoisin sauce which I can't have. Again at other places they could do this. I will say though the food was not up to par with us the hot jasmine green tea was extremely hot and tasted so good. The service here is incredible. Everyone was polite, accommodating and understanding. If you do come here I'm sure you will receive wonderful service as we did. read more

I have been to Panda Inn several times in my life and it is amazingly delicious each time. I love their dishes so much that they catered my wedding 12 years ago. I went back today and everything was just as delicious. I even forgot to take any photos because I was so excited to eat. The wonton soup is a delight with its jumbo shrimp and nicely packed wontons. The chow fun has nice thick noodles. The honey walnut shrimp is delicious. It's hard to stop eating them. The walnuts are nice and crisp and not soggy. I will continue to visit Panda Inn throughout my life and share my love for this place with everyone. read more

Tastes exactly like a White Gummy from Jamba Juice with a slight hint of alcohol. - Singapore Noodles: The noodles had a slight curry flavor. The menu indicated it was supposed to be spicy but I didn't detect a hint of spice. - Shrimp in Garlic Sauce: Very addicting. The sauce was a tad sweet, but pretty flavorful. - Chef's Special Short Ribs: The best dish of the night. So tender and the Brussel sprouts added a nice texture. This is my first time here, and was charmed with the decor. There was a lot of parking at this business park location, so no worries about door dings or tight parking. Once at the restaurant, we were sat in a private room for the 10 of us, and enjoyed the ambiance of this unique restaurant. The food is a little less tasty than the food at Pasadena Panda Inn, and believe it was a tad salty and presentation lacking. As for service, we had a wonderful server, who was on her A Game, with refills and serving on par with top restaurants. We Visited the restaurant for the first time with my family for Sunday night dinner. I joined the waiting list on Yelp while I was 10 minutes away from the restaurant. As I approached the counter to let them know that I have arrived. A young hostess tells me really it's not your time yet. It's only been 7 minutes. We said that's fine, Just following instructions to check in when we show up to the restaurant. About five minutes later, she calls me over and asked me who added me to the list. I proceed to tell her that I joined the waiting list on the yelp. Rudely, she replied, "we don't use yelp"I told her that it was interacting with me sending me messages and now her tone became more aggressive, "telling me we don't use yelp" and to join the waiting list. I'll be 30 minutes. At this point, I was already irritated due to her attitude towards me for something that I believe it's not my fault. Some advice please remove the joint waitlist option from Yelp if you're not using it anymore. And no point was a host apologetic or offer any solutions. It was more of trying to prove a point that they don't use yelp and I have to wait. Finally, we got our seat for four and we proceeded to have dinner. The ambiance was OK a little bit busy and the servers were a little confused because there was a couple of them that came over to ask for my drink order and if we had ordered so there was a little bit of back-and-forth on that. The food was just OK. The food like a little bit of flavor and it wasn't much different than going to a panda express. We thought there would be more flavor and the experience would be much better since it was a full dine in restaurant.
