A friend and I wanted to try a Mongolian BBQ place near us, but they are closed on Monday. I found a few other options, and we decided to come and try Panda Mongolian BBQ. They are located in a strip mall, and we arrived around 6pm. There was plenty of parking and a lot of seating available inside. We walked in, and I told the woman at the register it was our first time here, and she told us how it works. The restaurant is spotless. They apparently had an ownership change in January, and it looks like a brand new restaurant. There are three booths along the front window, and a good number of tables as well. There are two food stations, one for Mongolian BBQ and one Chinese food, and the price for both is $7.99 per pound. For the Mongolian BBQ, you grab a bowl and fill it with your ingredients. The four available proteins are beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp and they were all very chilled. There is also a big spread of veggies and noodles at the end. All of the veggie containers and noodles were full and very fresh, as they appeared to be ready for the evening dinner crowd. Once you have loaded up your bowl, you take it to the cook and tell them which combination of the six sauces you would like. I loaded my bowl with beef, shrimp, a little pork, jalapenos, green peppers, mushrooms, and noodles. I took my bowl to the grill and told the cook I wanted the #1 Spicy Garlic Sauce which the host said was very popular. The cook then prepares it for you, and puts it in a to-go container. Take the container to the register to weigh and pay, then grab a seat or head out. The Chinese food is buffet style and is already prepared. You just load up your container, weigh, and go. They are apparently known for their Orange Chicken Fries which I'll have to come back and try. My container was a little under a pound and cost a tad bit over $8 after tax. The food was cooked perfectly, was fresh, flavorful, delicious, and filling. I went heavy on the protein and light on the noodles, it's all the same price. I don't know where you're going to find a better bargain than this for delicious Mongolian BBQ.

I came to try out this place because I saw that the store has changed owners and changed into something completely different. I was so excited to try this place out, especially with how great the marketing was about their promotions and menu items. I have been here quite a couple of times already previously to this, so here are picture references to what I've bought: Mongolian BBQ and Orange Chicken Fries! I always do the build your own per lb. with the #4 Dragon sauce because I think it's the most flavorful. Every other sauce is good as well, but I just preferred #4! This place is very self-explanatory--you get a bowl and you just stuff it with all the things you want. And if you need another bowl for noodles separately you can do so and they would still cook it altogether for you. The buffet area goes by $7.99/lb, same concept as the previous, but pre-cooked and all you need to do is weigh at the end and pay. The owners and the staff are all so generally nice! The middle aged man and woman that's usually upfront is always so so kind and happy to see new and previous customers which makes the mood so much more pleasant and not as unwelcoming. There's lots of seating areas with warm lighting to sit so you have plenty of space to chill. It's always so clean when I come in and that's something I think says a lot about this place. 100% recommend you to try out this place and if it's not your thing, at least you said you tried it! Food is absolutely delicious and the price per lb doesn't hurt anyone either!

At $7.99 per pound, fresh of the wok entrees, you can have some real fun DIYing a plate! Lots of self service but staff is attentive to make sure you get taken care of! They're under new management and they actually had a 20% promo when i went too! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well! Food quality is actually my favorite part. Plenty of tasty options like honey shrimp, orange chicken, bbq pork!

5/5 Panda Mongolian BBQ exceeded my expectations! The orange chicken fries were absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and some of the best I've had. Every bite was delicious, and the presentation of the food was excellent. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It wasn't overcrowded, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Joann at the front for her outstanding customer service. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I highly recommend Panda Mongolian BBQ and will definitely be returning. 5 out of 5 stars!

Went back a few days ago with some friends. We used to go here once a month years ago. Glad to say we'll be doing that again now! We had no issues with the service so that's great. Food was delicious, even my pickiest eater friend loved it. The Chinese food buffet area was hot and fresh. Overall it looks like they're off to a great start!

What a hole in the wall gem of a place! You pick out your items in a bowl and take it to the grill where you can pick your sauces! I like the garlic ponzu sauce the best. Teriyaki one was a bit sweet. The fire dragon sauce is like black pepper. Try all and see which one u like! After it's cooked, you take it to the register and you'll weigh it and pay. As of the date of writing this, it's $7.99 a pound. You can also get Chinese food by the pound, they have like honey walnut shrimp, char siu, fried rice, chow mein, orange chicken, etc. The place is very clean and well maintained! Customer service is also A+! Also... GET THE ORANGE CHICKEN FRIES. IT IS SO GOOD!!!!

(Friday 3pm) I absolutely loved it! Service was beyond amazing! Explained to us the options and the steps since it was our first time there. Ambiance was very open friendly and casual. Definitely can see myself with a group of friends here. Portion size definitely depends on how much YOU want to eat. They have two plate sizes; small and large (Mongolian) Each pound (1lbs) is $7.99. They have Chinese food or Mongolian, can do both if you choose. I will say this place needs more decor and a bit more of ventilation but besides these minor details I highly recommend!!! I love the atmosphere here. We have our go-to table. We have our go-to orders and every single time they have really nice staff that always care and try to make it a good experience. The food is amazing. They have a hot section and they also have the raw section. Highly recommend going to the hot section and getting some coconut shrimp and some wings. For the actual food itself, get a ton of meat because it's light and just keep going with a lot of protein and then you can fill up on the other stuff as extra. Remember it's $7.99 per pound so you can get a lot of food at a cost-effective price and it's delicious. I highly recommend only one sauce. You should also give the orange chicken fries a try. It is delicious and always comes out very hot!! Come check this place out!!!

Tasty, fresh, clean, and CHEAP! You can choose from either or both Mongolian and Chinese, and they weigh your plates at the register. The owner was very helpful in explaining how the process worked, and my daughter and I proceeded to load up our bowls. The meat is frozen (supposed to be) but what surprised me is that SHRIMP is one of the meats, besides beef, chicken, and pork. Choose one or all - it's up to you. The veggies were very fresh, and they even had some exotics like bok choy. They also offered thick imitation crab legs! The plates weighed in at .7 and .6 pounds after cooking, so we figured we'd grab some Chinese food - again fresh and beautifully prepared. I almost made mine to a pound after that weigh-in - a little under $7.99. The place is spacious and clean. I'm kicking myself in the head for not trying it out sooner. Super delicious, flavorful and filling. Fresh vegetables A++++ It will likely be one of my go-tos and I can't wait to go back. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but this place was beyond my expectations! I recently saw someone post about their Orange chicken fries and knew I had to try them. Immediately upon arriving, the lady who was at the register greeted me which is something most people don't do anymore, she took our order and said we could sit anywhere. Our Thai tea was amazing and we were blown away when the Orange chicken fries were brought out. Such a huge food portion for only $11? The flavor was great, the taste was amazing, and I knew they were freshly made. 10/10 experience, will definitely be back to try everything else. read more

Why haven't I been here sooner?! It's like Chipotle, but Mongolian BBQ. Who doesn't love customizing your meal to fit your taste buds. I was feeling nostalgic from my childhood mall food court days and went more traditional and simple with the choices. My only bummer moment was no sesame seeds, which I had at home thankfully. Forgetting how filling Mongolian BBQ is, we opted for a small batch of egg rolls. Thank goodness it was only two. So I could eat that and my dish too. Which the portion was so large I had lunch for the next day--score! Shout out to the team, they threw in extra sauce on the side which I felt it needed. I'm already craving it again. I'm curious about trying steamed rice or brussel sprouts as the base. I have more research to do TEE HEE. read more

When we went to pay for both of our plates which were less than 1.5lbs each, they tried to charge us for FOUR SEPARATE $17, 1.5 lbs plates, so $68 for 6 lbs of food total, even though we only had less than 3 lbs of food total ($34). When we asked why they said it was because we used two bowls to make each plate, but when we walked in we asked them if they still do things by weight and they said yes. We used two bowls to make the plates because we were holding our infant baby and we couldn't sit there trying to balance these super tall plates and we didn't want to hold up the line. It seems idea behind the one bowl policy is to stop people from making really really large plates that are 3 pounds and splitting it with multiple people. However to combat that they instead made a person who made an only 1.5 pound plate pay more than they would've charged someone who made a 3 pound plate. It literally makes no sense. Also, the policy the incentivizes people to sit there and play Tetris with a bowl and hold up the entire line while trying to cram as much food as they can into it while dropping food everywhere. It's a very stupid policy and even dumber were the workers for not being able to read between the lines and see that we both just wanted to make normal meals while holding our baby instead of gaming the system. We left and got food elsewhere, these guys are whackos.

One employee shouldn't be able to damage the reputation that the rest of the staff works hard to build. I don't know what was going on with him that day, but there is simply no excuse for treating customers with that level of disrespect. Hopefully management takes this seriously because nobody should have to deal with that kind of behavior when they're simply trying to enjoy a meal.

Awesome and delicious food! I loved everything and specially the cream cheese wontons ! They were boom! The food was super good and so tasty. I could eat all day. The staff is super friendly and also work hard to give us a great service. Even though there's some negative reviews about the staff I think they're great. They always keep checking up on our table asking for refills. Overall great staff and manager too.The price is great since it's all you can eat! I took my family there and they loved it. No complaints at all. When it got busy we had to wait a little since the grill where they cook the food is kinda small but the chefs were working hard and my food came out delicious. I want some now. Makes me hungry just thinking about it. Definitely going back again for more delicious Mongolia food! Totally recommend it. It's great for friends and family or just for yourself. Be cautious, I've been here several times and every time I come there has been an error on my bill. Make sure you double check your receipt! The management and the waitstaff off all been trained to mess up on your bill! They overcharge and they add gratuity's that should not be there. They act like they don't know what they're doing and then tried to tell you that I cannot be corrected. I'm tired of having to be so guarded every time I come here. Sure the food is good, but I'm not sure it's worth the headache at the end. Also, I do not believe it is appropriate for The waitress to using vulgarities in her frustration. They also have some great dessert options here, although a small hole in the wall, it's really good food for someone on a budget. It may not be a Gen Korean BBQ all you can eat meat, but they still have good quality meat with noodles, sauces, and veggies here. This place is awesome! I went with my family last Friday and we had a really good time. They provided five different meats and various fresh vegetables. They also have a source bar at the end of the tables, selection is huge. This is a new restaurant so everything looks news and clean. I registered this account with yelp because I want to support this new place. Just out of curiosity me and my daughter went to this new restaurant in our neighborhood this Saturday night. They are pretty busy but we were still seated immediately after entering the door. The waitress was very nice she explained how everything works in a Mongolian buffet. I had a challenge with Panda a few weeks ago. I eat here regularly but the service was just so-so. It was the food that kept me coming back! The prices are reasonable and it's very clean. My goodness if your employees make some mistakes take your employees to the back and talk to them don't yell at tu in front of the public.
