So this review is overdue, but I thought I should do it anyway since I was so pleased! A few weeks ago, I went in to Panera in the afternoon to get bagels for my work for the next morning. Unfortunately, there was not much left to choose from and I decided it would be best to come and get them fresh in the morning. The lady that was attempting to help me was so sweet, she gave me and my fiance two free drinks just for coming in. So, the next morning, I walked in and asked for the dozen bagels and cream cheese. The same lady from the day before helped me and was so cheery, but not so much that it made me sick at 530a. The WORST panera we've ever been, this store doesn't even worth 1 star, but unfortunately I have to give at least 1 in order for me to write the comment. The cashiers, managers are all shitty. We ordered our foods on the kiosk and choose for dine in. But we changed our mind and told the cashier that we need it for to go. And she went to the kitchen and took my buzzer. She came back and told us, everything taken care of. We've waited for almost 30 mins, until I decided to asked one of the server and as I expected that she told me that no one received my order and she said that the cashier didn't tell them and didn't gave the kitchen our food order and buzzer. What a JOKE!! And NO APOLOGIZE OR COMPENSATION came from either the cashier or manager. DO NOT COME TO THIS PANERA if you value your time and money!!! read more

Do not go here to get food. They have poor service and the execution on orders is terrible. I ordered a chipotle chicken avocado melt and added other ingredients and once I picked it up and got back home it was a complete mess! It looked like they threw all the ingredients of the sandwich on top of it and guess what, only a small piece of chicken was only put in it. I love Panera. One of my favorite places to go out and eat. But this Panera horrible customer services. Ran out of salads and avocado still charge me. Then I complained and about me paying extra for avocado. They lady wanted our sandwiches back we were eating already I just wanted my refund back for paying for extra items on my sandwich. Unbelievable. After she attitude with us . Very unprofessional. Never coming back. Stay away from this place they need to change some of the staff. I did encounter a very nice staff who was polite and helpful at one point . Cozy awesome furniture to study or chill with your friends or date night, Panera is the place to be. If you are watching caloric consumption or just want a healthy lunch or dinner they have the best selection. Love the pick 2 selection where you can pick any 2 salads, soup, sand which or pasta! My favorite is the Fuji apple chicken salad with the half cranberry turkey apple sandwich. Chucks of dried apple and chicken on some mix greens...cranberry moist bread with slices of turkey, cheese and a delicious apple slaw with crunchy arugula. Order on your app and they will have the order ready within the time frame that they indicate. Never had issues with the pick up online order. Love it! read more

At least they have nice space/facilities and never seem to be out of bagels/pastries. Been here many times. But this Panera is super unprofessional from the cashiers all the way to the people on "the line" (and that's coming from an ex-Panera employee.) Got lip from the cashier because her shift was over and she *still* had to help me. She also snapped at a co-worker about something in the middle of taking my order. They were fast with putting out my food order, but I had to wait for a kiosk pickup of only cream cheese that I placed right after my POS order for 16 minutes. Had to listen to the entire team's conversation about their personal relationship gossip (and I mean literally yelling around the kitchen and the dining room person is at the counter excitedly carrying on the conversation while coming and going.) She apologized for the wait because "someone messed up...." when I am sitting right in front of "the line" and seeing your conversations, I can only hope you're focusing on the quality of the food you're putting out, but you're probably too busy fraternizing. I completely understand what it takes to work here, but what I experienced today was just ridiculous. I most likely will not be coming back here. read more

Really feels like this place is going downhill - a year ago the vibe was different and the restaurant was much cleaner. Here today at lunch, 2 buns of iced tea empty and have to point it out, napkins empty and have to point it out. There is trash and food debris all over the floor. Called & placed a takeout order for 2 bowls of soup - not really that complicated, right? They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. We drive 15 minutes to pick it up & the kid says 'oh we're out of that soup'. I asked him why they took our order for something they were out of. He says 'I don't know', shrugging his shoulders. ZERO STARS never going back in.. went in before work for a bagel....took a long time and gave it to me burnt like BLACK so I show it to them and and they say oh yeah sorrrrrrry the toaster has been acting up... and redo it (WHY WOULD YOU SEE YOU BURNED IT AND STILL GIVE IT OUT), i go to work now with the redone bagel and it HAD AN EFFIN HAIR poking out if the cinnamon glaze so nasty. At this point I have to go to work with no breakfast... i call them and they give me 21 questions about the hair as if I planted it myself or dropped it then noticed like WTF?? They actually hade the nerve to say "hmm..doesn't sound like that could belong to any of the people on staff..", what the the actual fuck, beyond peeved and finally she says okay well sorry and how about a refund and complimentary lunch on us? Whhhhhaaaaaaaat the heck happened to this place?!? Panera Bread has always been one of my consistent favorites for a quick and healthy meal. Apparently, this location hasn't received the customer service memo! And they need to take a real hard look at the way they order supplies and inventory. I was working here in East Bay on Saturday and stopped in for my favorite salad, the Asian Chicken Salad, only to be told it was no longer on the menu. Feeling disappointed but needing to eat, I next ordered the Roasted Turkey BLT WITH Avocado, only to be told they didn't have avocado, but I could order the turkey Bravo which was "almost the same thing with cheese and sauce"... Folks, cheese and sauce do NOT make up for avocado! So I agreed to the Roasted turkey sandwich sand avocado... Another disappointment but I figured it was a one off... Well... It was NOT A ONE OFF! I'm back in the East Bay today and in my mind another go at the roasted turkey BLT w Avocado... Only today there was NO bacon!!! WTH?!? Seriously?!? So I said, " Ok, I gotta eat so let do it but I want a discount- I'm not paying for bacon that's not there." The youngster went to talk to his manager, who I'm sure was about the same age, and he came back shaking his head and saying they can't give discounts... I'm calling BS! What they really mean to say is they WON'T give a discount! I just walked away... My money is better spent elsewhere! And what I'm saying is I WON'T be back! once i came here and ordered a BLT on whole wheat with a cup of wild rice & chicken soup. it took a while to get my order, so naturally, i sat in a highback booth and eavesdropped on a couple's conversation. they were both eating BLTs. naturally, right? she was literally doing all the talking. like she was yapping on and on about errands, then her sister's surgery, then the backyard renovations. apparently her co-worker is cheating on his wife of 7 years and she thinks he's such a man slut. then her phone rings with the ringtone of the sex and the city theme. the man is silent: no prompts or affirmatives, leading questions or signs of verbal active listening. nothing. not a peep. no cough, no fidgeting. then she gets off the phone and starts up the old motor mouth, talking about how their daughter is starting to lock her bedroom door and she wants so badly to put the smack down on her teenaged self-righteous ass. then the man abruptly interrupts her by asking her if she's done eating because he wants the rest of her BLT. she says she's done and slides the basket forward and continues talking, picking up right where she left off. what's the conclusion, then? the service is slow. other people are so funny. don't talk with your mouth full. yes, that cheater IS a man slut. my prayers go out to your sister. oh, and the BLTs are excellent. read more

Let me say first is I love the food at panera! The 1 star today is for the woman in the front with a major shitty attitude! I was asked by a male worker to use the kiosk to order today and I would receive a free cookie. So my daughter and I did, took a few because it was awkward navigating! We added to 2 cookies to our order. Thought they would be taken off at the end? The guy didn't explain it well. After picking up our order, I asked where the cookies were? Was told to pick them up in front. When I asked for them, the heavy set Hispanic ? Girl was nasty and rude. We got the 2 we paid for. But when I asked about the free cookie? She became really nasty rolling her eyes and telling me I would get a half of one because she didn't have free ones? At that point I had attitude. Told her to keep her damn cookie and told the man at the kiosk he was annoying and promised something he didn't deliver. My point to this if your going to offer customers something follow thru!!! I eat out a lot and order food ToGo almost everyday. This Panera Bread has the utmost BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE and I greatly appreciate it. If they mess up your order they are quick to get it right. It's easy to order food to go and just pick it up. I love them and appreciate you guys making sure you hold good customer service. Now-a-days restaurants and places to eat are losing their niche with customer service and that's when I normally write bad reviews for them. So I wanted to take the time to write a good review. I ordered food and the last couple times my sandwich was missing a couple things they not only replaced my order but they gave me a little dessert for my troubles. Panera is the trendy spot to have a fairly cheap not so quick meal. If you need to have wi-fi access or need to charge your mobile device this is the place. Weather you choose to have a toasted bagel with cream cheese or soup & half sammy or a full sammy with a salad etc etc they've got it. Lots of fresh pastries to gawk and drool at. All of the soups are thick and hearty and come with bread. My favorite is the broccoli cheddar. Presentation is lackluster. Turkey & cranberry sammy is amazing! Its got a spread thats not quite mayo but maybe something added to mayo?? I dunno but its great! Pizza is meh. I'd skip it. They have a really great tasting cold green tea, secretly, I think I'm addicted! Lots of fountain drinks to choose from as well as coffee and hot teas. Seating is always a game. My advice is to find a table, put your stuff down THEN go order. They will bring you your order, so when you leave, leave a buck or two. Its not required to tip the server but hey, they brought you your food and will be cleaning up that table too. :) Clean & tidy restrooms most of the time. (Some idiot women don't seem to make sure their trash actually gets in the trash.) I don't take my kids here as their isn't really a kids menu. And remember the pizza is meh and its nothing like your child would picture in his or hers head either. Just saying. read more

This is the worst Panera, I've given them 3 chances, now I'm done. Don't bother preordering, they will just be out of something and you will have to wait in line to get your card credited. Then told you have to call the call center to get a refund. They will mess up your order, it's always chaotic, not the environment you want to enjoy a meal at. I have been here so many times and had wonderful service. Today was a different story. I ordered online and set my pickup time for 3:00. I arrived a few minutes early and walked inside to confirm they received my order as I didnt receive a confirmation email regarding the order. I was met by a polite young man who tild me that the orders are placed as you arrive to pick up your order. Hhmmmm, my orders have always been ready in the past when I arrived. I was told they would bring my order out as soon as it was ready. Waited another 15 minutes and went back inside to find my order sitting there waiting to be picked up. Got our order home to find the bread bowl squished inside of the paper wrapper and paid extra for the cucumber tomato salad of which had nect to nothing in the cup. What has happened to this Panera? The mom and pop restaurants are struggling to survive and a big corporate restaurant has list its customer service skills for sure! I will not be returning to this location and will continue to support the small mom and pop businesses for sure! read more

This has been our regular go-to place to meet with friends on a weekly basis. We love Panera's food but lately, at this local shop, they are out of everything we want to order. We placed an order recently of soups, bagels, and teas-they didn't have one thing we wanted, not even bagged tea. It wasn't a fluke either as we've been coming regularly and it's the same problem week after week. Just the other day we ducked in around lunchtime on a Tuesday to grab their bagel deal and they were already out of soup! The service has not been deplorable but certainly nothing worth writing about. Suffice it to say, we have found a new meeting place. If you're not fussy and you don't have your heart set on anything in particular, you might enjoy it otherwise, steer clear. read more
