Worst panera in the country! Do not go here horrible food and service. We were very disappointed and we normally love Panera.

I've been a long time Panera lover. I've given this Baytown location a few tries and every time, my order gets messed up! They've given me the wrong salad twice, forgot the chicken on my grilled chicken salad twice as well. For the price you pay I shouldn't have to make 2 trips each time to get the order correct. They will remake the food for you, but it honestly makes me feel like a complainer or a jerk when I've went in and had them do that. I'm afraid I'm going to have to break up with Panera here. Which is sad and sucks for them too, because I'm not the best cook and grab salads/soups a lot! read more

I work close so I come here often for lunch and let me just say that the food is GOOD! I always opt to go through the drive through where the service is fast and convenient. The only complaint I would have is that it is a little pricey but I guess you're paying for the quality. read more

The food was very good and service was prompt. However they have started watering down their beverages which is a huge disappointment. We asked the server about it and she just shrugged. We noticed she also cleared dishes from the tables but never wiped any of them clean. read more

I loved the food. The bread and ingredients are excellent. My two star rating is because the employee I encountered at the drive through was rude and lacking decent manners, and the portion sizes are really small for the high price that's charged. read more

I had the broccoli cheese bread bowl and my wife had soup and sandwich. Although my soup was good, the bread bowl was so rubbery, I almost couldn't eat it. My wife's soup was bland, and the turkey sandwich was a joke. They boasted about thick cut carving board style turkey. It was near wafer sliced similar to the pre packaged crap you buy at the store. The wheat bread was dry and crumbly, like when it is not quite stale but getting there, and was obviously sandwich bread from a bag, not made there. Typical Panera Bread atmosphere and food. That isn't a bad thing. I ate at this location for the first time today. The Thai salad was delicious and the chipotle chicken sand which was tasty. I ordered a bag of bagels for the week and the lady was very kind as I waffled back and forth on the flavors. The staff was very polite and attentive. I don't have any comments on the internet speed. I go to restaurants for food and not to sit around doing my homework or other nonsense. My house is for that. Each generation is different though. I'm glad Panera is in Baytown. read more

I gave them a 3 because the food is usually always good however every time I come here which is usually multiple times a week they never offer to get me a high chair. Like okay so I have to sit my 3 yo at a table so we have a spot to sit, and carry my 1 yo yo get a high chair. This is very inconvenient. Atleast offer to help get a high chair!!!!! read more

I visit Panera bread at least 2 to 3 times out of the month. Last Thursday Oct 15th around 11 AM, they were just getting set up. I made my usual request autumn soup with chipotle avocado sandwich. Instead of them saying we're not quite open yet, that it would be await. The manager or someone staff was called to the back, and I seen her put a plastic spoon in the soup, tasted it, and threw the spoon away. I am sure that Panera bread has thermometers for their soup. I'm sure I could've waited a bit longer for them to get it right. When I got home I decided I just couldn't eat the soup after what I saw. Then I tried to eat the sandwich and it was a bit salty. I've never had that sandwich salty before. So, I don't know what they did to it. This just turned me off all together, just a nasty experience. They must have a new manager or staff, but I've decided I will not visit any Panera bread again. I'm sorry, but the staffs need to be trained on cooking etiquettes and . This Panera Bread on Garth Road in Baytown has never once gotten my order completely right. Something as simple as "chips, bread or an apple?" If you ask the question, maybe you should listen to my answer. Its extremely frustrating. The people that work there are not friendly either. The cashier who took our order was so nice and kind. However, the food is poorly put together. My boyfriend and I ordered the Chicken Alfredo Tortellini and it was mediocre at BEST. We got bread as a side, which was just thrown in the bag on top of the pasta containers. The bread was stale and cold, which was very displeasing. The chicken tasted like it was fresh from the can. The first time I went was about 2 weeks ago, about 7:30 in the morning. I went inside because I had never been there before. I ordered 2 breakfast pastries, and a sandwich to take to work for my lunch. I had to wait forever for them to make my sandwich. So, I said to myself-okay, they're new, I'll let it slide. The 2nd time I went was on Monday morning of this week and went thru the drive-thru. There were 2 cars in front of me and the service was very s l o w!!. I'm on my way to work and don't have this kind of time to wait so long. Anyway, when I get there, I pay, and while waiting for my change, I check the order and the girl gives me some kind of coffee (I ordered a pepsi), and the order is wrong. It's a bagel and I ordered a pastry. She switched it out, and I left. Then, I get to thinking, I paid too much for what I ordered-there was never an adjustment. Part of it was my fault-I was running late at that point and just left without asking. 1. They need much more help in the morning rush. 2. They need someone to check the orders. 3. They need someone to work the drive-thru who is on top of everything. Not sure when I will go back. read more

Panera Bread is my favorite "fast food" in Baytown! It's reasonably healthy and they deliver! Everyone there has always been very nice, the hours are very convenient! The broccoli cheddar soup is my favorite! read more

Stopped by Panera Bread this evening. 10 minutes till 8 p.m. 2 people were on the way out they said that they had no bread or tea. I asked the lady behind the counter who looked at me from over her should if they were open? She said that they were post close...hmmm. I guess that meant that they were closed. Walking out we met 3 others coming in and let them know that they were post close. So we went to Subway, it should have been and will be the first stop going forward. read more

I have never been felt so nauseous after eating half my sandwich and finding a black hair in the sandwich and after looking at the rest of it finding 4 more black hairs. It's like someone shook there hair into my food... I will never eat at any pinera bread again. The manager was not helpful at all like it was no big deal.
