My husband loves this place and I just don't get it. Well, actually, maybe I do. He can eat ALL THE THINGS and I'm limited to food items that don't contain gluten, dairy, wheat, etc.... AND UM, PANERA BREAD IS ALL ABOUT THE GLUTEN, DAIRY, WHEAT, etc! Common, it's hot BREAD in its name! Ha! Anyways, I wasn't going to make a stink about him wanting to go there for lunch one day (and I was secretly hoping there was a poke or shawarma spot next door I could sneak into and order food from), so I sucked it up and ordered to the best of my ability. If you have a large appetite and want some protein on your salad (if that's what you wind up ordering- like me), ask for like QUADRUPLE the portion of chicken OR ELSE YOU WILL ONLY GET A TINY TINY PIECE. Also, double avocado (which I got) really is just one serving at any other restaurant, which is insanely annoying. Prior to coming for lunch here though, I KNEW PANERA was stingy so I prepared myself for that! I got the Green Goddess Salad: minus the dressing and cheese and asked for NO BACON. I then asked for TRIPLE CHICKEN and extra avocado. OUR FOOD TOOK ROUGHLY 30 minutes to get to us, which is LONGER than what Food typically takes to get to us at a NICE DINING ESTABLISHMENT! ANDDDD OF COURSE, my salad came out WRONG, despite t being CLEARLY LISTED on the order (the receipt said exactly what I wanted), they put bacon on it. Thankfully they were nice enough to remake the salad, which I feared would come out 20 minutes later, but came out maybe 6 minutes later (my husband was done with his food at that point). Now I can't say the salad was all that bad, the pickled onions actually helped give it some JAZZY FLAVOR (cause I don't use dressing), but it just wasn't worth the price and as I mentioned, PANERA IS INSANELY STINGY when it comes to portion sizes!!! So if you're someone who suffers from food intolerances and allergies, yeah, I wouldn't REALLY recommend Panera Bread to you. It's so not worth it. read more

This rating is just for this location and whoever manages it. I upped it from a 1 to a 2 but this location is always out of products. For months they didn't even have espresso drinks. Also. The culture here isn't as upbeat as other paneras I've been too. Finally. This location has the worst wifi I've seen since like 2018. I just checked it on speedtest and sadly both upload and download are .33 mbps... So the wifi parallels the service at this location. read more

Pretty annoying they always forget to give me butter with my bread. Why offer bread if u don't give butter with it. Especially when u offer butter. Disappointing on multiple levels. I was looking forward to trying this Panera since it had one of the better Panera reviews in the area. I have no idea why. First, it was really cold inside (I had on a puffer jacket AND sweatshirt). It was also dank and somewhat run-down looking (one of the more depressing Panera's I've seen). At least 5 tables had dirty dishes on them, with no patrons in sight-for the entire 30+ minutes I was there. It seemed to not occur to the 6 or so people behind the counter to check the tables. The final straw was the very skimpy amount of chicken and pecans on my salad. I get this salad alot-I know how much chicken should be on it. It's hard to not get the feeling that the workers are skimming off the top. I had the Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich. This yummy sandwich is composed of smoked turkey breast, applewood-smoked bacon, gouda cheese, lettuce and tomatoes on freshly baked tomato basil bread. All the ingredients were very fresh, especially the bread, which was very soft and had a sweet crust. This is probably the best sandwich I've had at a Panera. I was pleasantly surprised. Currently one of my go to places for lunch . I usually get the broccoli cheddar soup with a half sandwich. With their rewards I'm able to add a free item most of the time to my meal . The other day I did a drive up and it was the so convenient ! Did the order online and hit a "I'm here" button and second later they came out . There's this sweet older woman at this location who unfortunately I haven't been able to catch her name because I go during lunch time meaning "rush hour" she gives out to most amazing customer service ever ! We came in early on a Friday morning and the parking lot in the back was not too bad. There was no line to order and there were plenty of vacant seats. Egg white spinach cheese on whole wheat - was too healthy for me... It was good but I think I need more flavor, i.e. salt and fat, than this. But if you have acclimatized to low sodium low fat, this would be great! It's still tasty, just not in comparison with the other sandwiches we ordered. Asiago Focacia - sooo good. I really love this location. It's not much different from other locations; however, This restaurant is very clean and organized; including the bathroom. The staff is very nice. I come to Panera bread because of the freshness of their food. And it's healthy. They always have deals on food. Prices are fair. They do have a parking lot, however they share it with a few places so it does get a little bit busy. Ok... I'll give this place a 4.5. My sister and I love down the street and wanted something quick for dinner. We came and both ordered the you pick two. Initially when they came, they mixed up which sandwich went with which soup, but it was five and we switched it. However, my sister asked for no onion on the sandwich and we had to send it back. It took 20 minutes for her to get a new sandwich. I was already finished with my meal. Luckily, everything was rocky the 2nd time. The associate manager Fernando came over and checked in with us and apologized. It was fine, but we liked the gesture. He offered us a treat and we went home with bagels and cream cheese....granted they have been out all day and since it's nighttime they are one day old, but the thought was immensely nice! The right people truly do make a difference. Recently I contacted this specific Panera Bread to place a large catering order for my own business. A gentleman named Remo was extremely polite and professional over the phone. He and I set an appointment to meet along with his catering specialist Mary. Not only did they help accommodate my somewhat complex order, but they even saved me money. This hands on approach is truly the difference between good and GREAT customer service. Great variety for lunch options. My co-workers and I usually use the online ordering option because it is super convenient. You place the order & they will give you a pick up time. Once you arrive there is a shelf where they place the online orders. Sometimes the order will be on the counter where they prep, but they are labeled which makes it easy to find your order. Make sure you check the bag to make sure nothing is missing. They forgot to add one of our sides, so be sure to check that everything is there. I understand it happens with the busy lunch rush. Their pick 2 menu option is good if you want variety. I either go with a salad and soup OR a sandwich and soup. I've had the tomato soup with side croutons and the summer corn chowder, both of which were pretty good. Also had the Fuji apple salad and the napa almond chicken salad sandwich. I ordered "rapid pickup" on the app and when I went in they didn't even bother to put the order on the shelf. I would've asked an employee but they were all grouped together talking out of sight so I had to stand in line for over five minutes to ask a cashier to get it for me. Shouldn't be offering rapid pickup if your staff is going to hide it behind the counter. I know postmates take wrong orders/people steal orders but you shouldn't be advertising rapid pickup if we have to walk in and wait for a staff member to do their job read more

Panera bread is convenient, reliable and consistent. They have vegan and vegetarian soups and salads and sandwiches. The staff here it is always pleasant and accommodating. They have free Wi-Fi and plenty of comfortable seating even a few tables outside, which is nice. read more

We've hit this location at least three times during soccer / basketball seasons with our Adored Grandson. AG tends to grumble a bit when we suggest it, but once he can order a pasta dish, the grumbling fades away. (He prefers Corner Bakery.) I've got mixed emotions about this store. The counter staff are friendly, and the food is decent. However, it's really showing its many years of service. The interior could use a complete remodel. Lots of beat up booths, dirty floors, etc. Also, they've had problems with the computer ordering system on at least two occasions. We've received half of our order doubled because they didn't realize they'd already given us the food. Doesn't seem like a great way to make money / stay profitable. The chicken was more chopped than pulled, not much smoked flavor either. Not much cheese and the frizzled onions were scarce. I placed an order through the app for delivery with instructions to just shoot a text when they get to the curb and I would come out. After the order was 20 minutes late, I called and was told they took the order back and we had to come pick it up because they called twice and no one came out. They called twice from an east coast number and left no voicemail. They never followed the directions to text so we knew who they were. And no one left any sort of message of any kind letting me know the order wouldn't be delivered. When I called back to ask for a refund because I couldn't make it to pick up the food in person, I was put on hold so a manager could speak with me, but instead the just refunded it instead of talking to me. I'm glad I was easily refunded, but I'm really bothered that the manager wouldn't even speak to me. 0/10 do not recommend. If you want Panera delivered, just use Postmates or something. read more

I ordered via the app chose curbside, and ordered an additional order when my bf and I got there, upon pick up the manager made me verify my identity twice even though there weren't any other cars waiting for an order-not pleasant or necessary if you use common sense. When I got home the potato soup was brown and discolored, wasn't fresh at all. When I spoke with an associate she placed me on hold to check the soup and agreed that it wasn't supposed to look like that at all, and stated she didn't know why they were serving it and referred me to the same manager that didn't believe my large order was the one I ordered. I used the Encino Panera for a work event, but they were late by 45 minutes and didn't give me an acceptable refund for the difficult position they put me in with our clients. After speaking to the manager three times, the refund offered was not sufficient in the slightest. They didn't follow up with me to tell how they would resolve this, and it's safe to say, I can't trust them for future orders at that time of day. It's unfortunate to no longer be able to count on them for early deliveries, and I'm very disappointed in how they handled the lack of compensation. Went in with kids, was served by a young guy of Asian descent, polite, very satisfied with his service. We were picking up food for my kids. This happened on a Saturday, at past 4, August 7th. As we were leaving, the female Supervisor/Manager, was berating our server and fired him on the spot for some menial reason. I felt it was handled poorly and it was very unprofessional of her to do so in front of the customers. I felt bad for the kid she fired. For the way she handled the situation, I'm not bringing my business again to this outlet. I bet there's a low morale amongst employees working in this place. I've had orders mishandled by other food outlets before, and the managers there didn't handle it the way this female supervisor did. I hope Panera Management will take note of this post. read more
