I'm usually a fan of Panera for a quick lunch or dinner. it's not normally my first choice, but when I go, it's usually for convenience. With that said, the Framingham Panera is really terrible. I recently went in for a quick dinner while running errands on a Friday night at around 6:30pm. I decided on you pick two with half a sandwich and soup. I chose a Panini with avocado. They informed me that they didn't have avocado. I picked a different Panini, and they didn't have the bread or the spread for that one. Finally, I picked a turkey sandwich and asked that it be made as a Panini since I'm pregnant and I cant have deli meat unless it's been heated up. I asked to dine-in and went to get a drink while I waited. They had no lids for my medium drink. When my name was called, everything was in a bag. I told them it was supposed to be for here, and they offered to give me a plate. I said no thanks and sat down. My soup was 1/2 full and the sandwich looked as if it had been tossed on the press for 10 seconds. the cheese was not melted and the turkey was cold. I returned to the counter and nicely asked them to remake everything, and this time, make it for here. The manager rudely asked me "what's wrong with what you have?" when I listed the problems, he huffed and said "fine we'll give you a new meal" - never an apology or offer to refund me. Even if this Panera is the most convenient place for a quick meal, I wont be back. read more

Okay. Panera bread is one of my favorite chain establishments. (Don't judge) but this Panera... it took 20 minutes to get food. It was not busy at all. They had one kid working the register and cutting bagels. This kid had no hustle. Okay. They send up a shift supervisor after a woman behind me complained about the wait and then walked out and this girl takes my order. I order my French onion soup with extra cheese which you are charged an extra dollar for, no biggie, but a real bummer when they don't put the cheese in for you . The girl asked me if I wanted a baguette or chips. I requested chips. No chips either. My chipotle chicken avocado melt only have one small slice of avocado. Reading other reviews, I was hoping to see that maybe it was an off night however it appears to be typical of this business. I wished I glanced at yelp before stopping at this particular Panera's however we are on the road and I was excited to have something other than fast food. read more

Food is alright, quantity has gone down, prices are the same if not more expensive. The 1 Star is for the Major concern with steadily declining service and customer service with a lot of distraction and unprofessional behavior by the counter staff. Some keep chatting, commenting in their own language, ( not that there is anything wrong in be a multi-linguist )wrong orders being brought to the table and food just being left the pick up counter without any intimation to the customer. Just shows a lack of interest in taking care of the customers and the reputation of the place. Service and quality is definitely not like it used to be here years ago. Better roll up your sleeves or else this place will lose a lot of business. read more

Went to Panera to give it a second chance - since last time my sandwich was forgotten about in my online order. But, another terrible experience. I have been a longtime Panera fan but today's trip was short of "fine." Bread was stale, no oyster crackers with soup. Friend's bread was soggy and stale, and on a different bread than normal. The staff at this location are very friendly but, despite the fact that there appear to be a lot of people on shift, the last several times we've gone to this location it has taken a really long time to order and get our carry out order. Last night we paid over $30 for 2 soups a half salad and a sandwich, none of which was very good. The tomato soup tasted like a bowl of unseasoned tomato paste. The tomato mozzarella flatbread barely had any cheese on it and was wet and hard to handle despite the dressing being on the side. The salad spilled inside the carryout bag because there was a tear in the cellophane part of the container. Very disappointing experience. To be fair, we've picked up breakfast souffles from this Panera several times and these have been consistently delicious. read more

This panera deserves 0 stars.... The employees constantly forget to make any changes to your order if you asked for custom configurations of sandwiches or salads. The place is always busy and the food takes forever to come out. The place is usually pretty messy and dirty. The price is extremely high for the quantity of food you get. read more

I am absolutely disgusted by them. I ordered delivery and checked off that I cannot have chicken in my salad because I'm a vegetarian for medical reasons. I also asked for extra salad dressings. I am disabled from the waist down and I do not drive so that's why I order delivery. My delivery came and there was chicken on my salad and NO extra dressings so I called them and they had the audacity to tell me that I didn't check off that I didn't want chicken. It's fine if he said I did it once or twice but he kept insisting it was MY FAULT! To make matters worse, the second woman I spoke to was so busy defending the first guy I spoke to that she just BLAMED me when it was a computer problem that wasn't showing them the extra notes in the computer system. If the online orders are not working properly, they should not be doing them and blaming the customer when they're wrong. It's sickening they would insinuate I was lying and even more sickening that they wouldn't take any responsibility and didn't want to refund me. The second woman was worse than the first guy because she went on to tell me how he's one of the "best guys" there and how he would not get fired under "any circumstances" despite the fact that he was incredibly rude to me. I'll be calling corporate. I've never been so disgusted that a company would be told of a mistake, REFUSE to fix it, BLAME the customer, try to drag a DISABLED person to the building, and NOT give a REFUND. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. So now I'm disabled in bed with no food, no money, and sick to my stomach at the way I was treated. I've been to this Panera several times and I have gotten take out all but one time. Take out works out fine. Food is always fantastic there. However, I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and the cashier read my order back to me. She read the bagel and the cream cheese back to me and I paid. My bagel came with out cream cheese. I hate to sound picky but I'm a big fan of onion and chive cream cheese and I really wanted it. I told the employee who delivers orders to tables and he went into the back to get the cream cheese. I waited for five minutes and then he came out and ignored me. Weird. This was because he sent the manager my way, who informed be that I had not paid for the cream cheese and she would give it to me if I paid for it at the register. I didn't want a dry bagel, so I paid her for it. I wish I didn't. I don't understand why i has to pay for a mistake that they made. As the manager, she should have handled this better. This was months ago, and I have had far better experiences at this Panera, so I can't claim that this is a bad location. It's actually great, as far as the food goes. Experienced language barrier when ordering. This resulted in the line moving impossibly slow. Also, they spent half the time talking amongst themselves, the other half taking orders. Not really into giving the customer their full attention, or much attention at all, even when the line was 6 deep. They also forgot my drink cups. I frequent this Panara often, mostly breakfast and lunch since I work near by. Staffs are friendly and the line moves fast, however, they have tendency to mess up your order if you were getting it to go. They had forgot putting chickens in my salad or ingredients that I've request to be on the side. Just be sure to double check your bag when you walk out to door. read more

Panera is one of my favorite restaurants for a quick, healthy, and delicious lunch. This Panera location is the WORST one I have ever been to. The service is extremely slow and it is extremely crowded. I came here on a Friday afternoon at 1:45 pm not expecting it to be too busy. I ordered a turkey sandwich and cup of soup and waited over 30 minutes for my food. When my food came out the quality was sub par. My soup was barely warm and the sandwich was extremely dry. My mom and sister both got paninis and they looked and tasted like they had been pressed for 30 seconds or less. You could tell the food was rushed to be prepared in order to keep up with the demand. More staff members are most definitely needed at this location. read more

I used to eat here at least once a week when my kids were in high school and we needed a quick bite between activities. It was a decent meal at a fair price. Last night my husband and I stopped in for a light supper at about 7pm. Only one person was taking orders and we had a couple families and 3 other couples ahead of us so it was a long wait. My husband was unable to read the overhead menu, the printing was too small and light in color for him to read, and I also had difficulty , something about the way it's lit, just a glare of yellow and tan. We eventually figured it out and placed our orders, a chicken Ceaser and a Greek salad with chicken. With all those other orders in front of us it took quite a while to get our "Hand-tossed and made to order using only the freshest ingredients, like vine-ripened tomatoes and crisp field greens." Both salds were disapointing . About half of the lettuce was crisp, the rest as limp as could be and the tomatoes were completely mush, even softer than a canned tomato, just gross, I fished them out along with what ever they were touching and was left with two whole peperoncinis, ( which I also discarded) a few paper thin slices of red onion and 3 tiny black olives on the barely dressed half limp half crisp romaine. The two saving elements were the feta and the bread . My husband salad was equally disappointing , barely dressed lettuce, 3 croutons the sliced chicken and a hunk of bread , Not worth even half the price. All I can say is if they didn't 'have enough suitable ingredients to make a dish let your customers know so they can order something else. I had hoped for a customer survey on my receipt to make my comments known but I never seem to get one when things go wrong. I'll just remember not to eat here the next time I'm in the mood for a quick salad. read more

Chain restaurants are usually pretty consistent. Salads are just right, and panini's are hot to bite into. So overall food is satisfying. I enjoy the variety of fruit beverages available too, but I go for the quick consistency of quality food. Service here is always solid. read more

I ordered through the app for the first time last week with a great experience. I have two small kids so I really didn't want to wait in line on a busy Sunday. I was able to order the food and pay on the road and we picked everything up about 20 minutes later. The kids enjoyed their meals and my sandwich was great. While this Panera is always quite busy, the people are always incredibly nice. They have a great fireplace and I love to study here. It's nice and quiet in the evenings and a great place to unwind. The service was okay. The line was very long, but went by quickly. It was $25 for two of us, but the Mac and Cheese was some of the best Ive ever tasted. $4 each for a drink seemed a little expensive, but they tasted pretty good. I will not being returning to this Panera Bread due to ignorant staff. When I gave my card to pay for my order, the cashier looked at my name and told me she wasn't even going try and pronounce it (it's not an American name). I told her it was actually phonetic. She then said that she doesn't want to sound bad, but her co-worker, would be able to say my name for reasons that would make her sound terrible. For translation, she meant this was because her coworker is non-white. She then saw her co-worker, pulled her over and told her to say my name out loud because she'd be able to say it. Her co-worker was visibly uncomfortable and mumbled my name under her breathe. By the way, I have a Korean name and her co-worker was definitely not Korean. To top it all off, this cashier then told me that there was no way the person preparing my food was going to be able to say my name properly and to prepare myself. As an American-born citizen, you can only imagine how insulting this entire interaction was. This Panera location clearly needs some training on customer care and professionalism in the work place. read more
