No complaints here! This Panera is always great and is just what I need whenever I stop in. There are always plenty of tables available and the kitchen crew is quick to make your food. They have the self-serve kiosks at the front in case there is ever a long line to order at the cashier. I usually go that route anyway since it is so simple to place an order that way. We have waited 45 minutes for our food. There are no signs saying they are short staffed and there will be delays. The 3 employees are doing there best to keep up with the crowd of disgruntled customers. It's obviously not an employee issue as much poor management and lack of employees. This is my neighborhood Panera, and they've never done me wrong! Some days, your girl just needs a tomato soup and sandwich. You know what I mean! I love love love the rapid pick up options and now that Panera has delivery, I've taken advantage on many a sick day. The management here is great and whenever I've interacted with any of the employees, they've always been bubbly and happy to be there. There are some really kind and nice people who work at this Panera. The food tastes like all Panera food, so no complaint there. There was one experience with one of the workers which resulted in an incorrect and more expensive order than I asked for being taken down and then when I realized and attempted to correct the mistake, they gave me the cheaper item while still having me pay for the more expensive item. read more

This panera is so slow! It took them 25mins to have a breakfast order ready. We only ordered a sandwich, fruit & a smoothie. I also saw multiple people being served before us that ordered a good 5 minutes after us. Then when we finally received our food there was no, 'sorry about your wait' , the smoothie cup wasn't even filled, and our sandwich was poorly constructed. Very disappointed!!! Yuk. I'm normally a fan but this outlet isn't good at all. Surly staff, 2 out of 4 items wrong and then those we got weren't the freshest. Coffee was swill, I think they forgot to put grounds in the machine before running it. This Panera is located in a convenient location within a shopping center. Temperature of the soup here is piping hot which is exactly how I like it and the food is on par with the rest of Panera food. However, all the utensils are really really dirty; out of the 4 knives, 4 spoons and 4 forks, all of them had to be cleaned before using. Panera, please check your dishwasher to make sure it is in working order. read more

Panera on Willow Lawn -- yesterday I put in a rapid pick up order with a customized sandwich order. The order was ready but not customized with what I asked. The bread was soaked through and soggy. I won't order that one again. Today I put in 2 sandwich orders for Rapid Pick Up at 11:50 so I could be back to the office in time for meetings. I arrived at 11:51 -- my order was not there but they were super busy. By noon still no order and the girl was quickly stuffing other orders into bags non-stop. Finally at 12:15 I asked what had happened to my order. She said they didn't have it and I would have to show my confirmation. I did -- she verified my order but they didn't have it -- so had to start on it -- the grilled cheese I had asked for a tomato to be added to it along with spinach -- the spinach was inside the box but not on the sandwich. I finally got my order by 12:30 pm. Another guy standing by me had the same experience -- he had an order for noon -- but they had no record of his order either. So beware. I don't know with Panera closing on Parham if extra traffic is going to WillowLawn? But if you need something exactly on time -- this makes me think "maybe not." read more

While I understand not eating meat may be an inconvenience, when I ask for no chicken in my salad, I don't want chicken on my salad (that they add to the salad). We tried Panera because my wife's a terrible cook and I burn things. When you walk in, they have computers you can touch like at Walmart. I don't know if they do INTERNET since I'm old and don't care. It's probably a fancy menu. Once you get to the order area you'll see the children working there are polite and helpful. I saw a customer harass them about trans-fat but they handled it with a plum. If I worked there, I would've told her to get out and don't come back because she was making a scene but that's just me. Life's too short. We placed our order and found a booth. They have a bagel slicer but it's not for customer use so don't even try. Everything was clean except the table behind us. Here's a tip from a food expert: if you're eating at a restaurant and can see trash cans, it's your job to bus the table. That's not Panera's fault though, just society's I guess. Anyway, the tables have numbered medallions that somehow use GPS technology to tell the staff where to send food when it's ready. It's nice but I do worry about our current surveillance culture. While waiting for our meal, I made note of a few things for you to look for. One, this place is next door to a UPS Store which is important for obvious reasons. It was closed when we were there but I observed a customer open the door after hours to check his mailbox, just like at the post office. I followed him inside and it was just ok. There's also a Karate studio on the other side if that's your thing. A man with a yellow belt and his young boy with a red one stopped by Panera for a bite after their practice. Didn't see the mother. Back inside, the mop closet is in the middle of the restaurant, facing west next to a trash station for your convenience if you make a mess. Some of the booths' seats can be removed to reveal caches of cleaning supplies and other consumables so there's really no excuse for you. This place has its own lake. I can't find it on any map but it's there. The manager wasn't sure if it was stocked so I'll be back later with my rod & reel to check it out. I also heard of a beaver that may live there but I didn't see him. Probably just a tale they tell folks to make it quaint. The food wasn't ready before my wife started talking about her sister's kids again, so I got up to give the men's room a once over. Nothing unusual. This Panera has a fireplace, but I get warm when I eat. This restaurant is in a safe locale because a customer felt secure enough to leave his portable computer at his table while he ordered desert. I didn't see anything too disturbing on the screen while he was gone. Once the food was ready, I noticed there were no salt & pepper shakers but keep yours in the glovebox, they have packets at the self serve station with the soda fountain. Everyone knows this is best because it's the freshest and there's plenty available no matter how many refills you want, no questions asked. If anyone does ask about how much you drink, tell them you have an embarrassing disease so they'll leave you alone. That's enough to get rid of most busy bodies. While I was enjoying my first bites I was listening in to the couple next to us and I'm certain they were having an extramarital affair. It was too hard to hear all the details though after they moved a few tables over. Maybe there'd be less of that if more people spoke up. Maybe next time I will. The cheese bagel, steak & cheese panini, mac & cheese bowl and Italian sandwiches I had were all great once you scrape the vegetables off. At my age, not eating my greens isn't a big deal. These days I'm grateful for things like mac & cheese after the lactose scare in 2015. My wife got the almond chicken sandwich and a black bean soup that came in a bowl made of BREAD. Probably saves time with the dishes. All told, we enjoyed the food. Everything was warm and the flavor was a nice change for us. They offer a bag of chips, apple or a piece of bread with each meal but I left the apple core by the lake for the beaver. My bread wasn't an end piece so that went right into the lake for the fish when we left. For dessert I had a cheese pastry, brownie and several "Kitchen Sink" cookies. I surprised my lady with a tulip cookie I picked up after my investigation of the men's room because women like flowers when they eat out. I took our plates and such to the trash and noticed people of all types enjoying themselves that evening. I like making new friends and Panera is the kind of place you'll easily find some. There was a road weary out-of-town family with young ones that just sat down so I squeezed in and chatted with them while my wife had her lengthy after dinner ritual in the ladies' room. We will definitely go back but as a portly man, I like having a lot to eat. I know the food police dictate we all keep it at 3500-4000 calories a day and places like Panera feel pressured to give in to their demands though. I hope this article was helpful to you. This is a nice Panera, there is a man made lake beside it with fountains, ducks and some abnormally latge fish swishing around in it fighting eachother. Very strange.. Stopped in at Panera Bread on a cold night for some comfort food. Great decision! Tried the Moroccan Beef stew and the Steak and White cheddar panini--both for the first time. These were perfect choices for a chilly night. The stew had excellent flavor and the beef was tender and tasty. The panini was a great mixture of shaved steak and cheese with a "shot" of horseradish. I had forgotten how much I enjoy Panera. It's a great place to unwind after work. I enjoy the food and the atmosphere, while sometimes a bit noisy, still helps me relax. Manager and staff were all attentive, pleasant, and hard-working. Best service experience I've had here in a while. Night and day difference from earlier this year. Go try some of their seasonal dishes. I believe you'll be glad you did. read more

The worst Panera Experience ever! I only gave it one star because the soup was tasty even though cold. Stopped here New Years Day around 10:00 am. They had run out of eggs , we ordered soup and smoothies which took way to long to come out, the hot water for the tea was not hot and when we went to leave we paid for coffee. Only to find all 3 coffee urns were EMPTY! Someone was told. Took an urn back and brought a new empty one back! I asked someone who seemed more competent who immediately went to the back but as they all needed to b brewed it was going to take 5 more min at least and at this point we just wanted to get on the road. Went there for breakfast with mu brother and there was hair in my food. The manager said he didnt know whose it could be because one of the employees just came on shift and the young lady had a hat on. She clearly had long hair that was hanging below the hat without a net. I don't blame her, I blame the manager. His attitude was non cavilaer and he truly didnt care. He didnt address the employee either. He final did refund my money for the sandwich but didn't concern himself with making sure test as s customer i was taken care of or making sure it doesn't happen again and because of that I am giving them a poor report on yelp and will tell everyone my store. read more
