Rustic Baked Potato Soup
Karen O.

Highly disappointed in the raved about new Rustic Potato Soup, at the most there were 3 tablespoons of potatoes, the flavor was good but it was a big bowl of milk with little to no substance.

I'm always up for lunch at Panera Bread. They have really good soups and sandwiches. I spotted this location a couple of weeks ago searching for another place. It is not that obvious as some of their locations but still just as good and laid out inside similar to the other stores. However, where to order for dine-in was not very obvious when there was no one around to ask me for my order. Eventually someone took my order and I ordered a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup and a Deli Turkey Sandwich. The soup was excellent, full of chicken and other ingredients and not so many noodles which is the way I want it. More chicken, less pasta. The sandwich was huge! Stacked tall of sliced turkey, lettuce, tomato and just a hint of mustard. Although the crust of the bread was really tough to eat. Their kettle cooked chips are really good. A lot better than grocery store brands. For dessert, I went back up and ordered a Chocolate Chip Muffin. I wasn't planning on eating the whole thing as I had already packed up half my sandwich for later and thought I would do the same with the muffin. However the muffin was so good I ended up demolishing it to just leftover crumbs.

Came here to study and I think I found my new spot! Plenty of seating areas, fast internet, and service is quick and great! I ordered a large Mac n Cheese and a coke. The best part is you can sit and easily order from the app. The Mac n Cheese was too good, rich creamy cheesy goodness. Another plus is that there is a lot out front with plenty of parking! I will be back here to study and eat for sure!!!

Since I had to get out into the world, I decided to treat myself to picking up one of my favorite lunches and tea. Since this pandemic began, we have been eating out very little. Mostly because we aren't leaving our home as much, but also because of concerns of getting sick. From the road, I could see there was no line. But 4 other cars pulled in at the same time I did, so I ended up with a bit of a wait. However, it was actually not to bad for Panera. The person who took my order bordered on rude and acted annoyed when I asked for my Panera rewards number to be added to my order. She said she'd get it from me at the window, but I still had to ask again when it came time to pay. She acted as if she took my number. I was expecting to have earned a free tea, but didn't. So, I logged into my account 24 hours later and nothing. What frustrates me is that she acted like she took the number and I declined a receipt, like many people are right now. So I can't just add the receipt number myself. Pretty disappointing.

I have tried my best to be patient with Panera in Avon. I'm not sure if it is because the food is being delivered so the feel that they can give subpar service but this has been at the 3rd ( that maybe generous) time that they have just disregarded the fact that I asked for extra and nicely at that. If you are NOT going to do it remove the option. Also the onion in my oatmeal was discussing!!! I have also tried talking with management that was no help. Oh and I still never received my money back from a previous order that was never delivered.

The pizzas are awesome! Really made up from the bowl I tried previously. Brownies, cookies, or a vanilla cinnamon roll is a nice addition to your meal

The worse bread I never had before $5.39 + tax that I spent. The bread was too thick and the egg was raw, I couldn't eat it and left it as it was in the picture . Mix the Bry Yogurt was a little & expensive too. 4 oz yogurt $4.89 + tax. Panera, How many customers do you have that will return to buy your bread like this for $5.39 + tax??? Me, I'll never come back again.

Not sure why but this location always has people working at the register who really don't want to work. I stopped coming here for awhile & tonight my kids really wanted the panera pizza. Unfortunately things have not gotten any better here. I got attitude tonight because I couldn't get the kiosk to work to do my own order. These girls just stand around at the registers doing nothing anyways so why was it so hard to take my order? I was just standing, waiting for someone to say "next" or something but nope they just stand around until I ask if they are actually open and working. The drive through is always closed which I completely understand because they are short staffed probably. Tonight they are also out of everything that I wanted to order. At 7pm this place was pretty dead barely anyone there. No pizzas of any kind, no Mac & broccoli soup. I ended up getting broccoli soup x3 and a sandwich. The chipotle chicken sandwich with avocado was made pretty good. Nobody was just standing doing nothing in the back. I also have to question why Paneras ask for tips when they don't take your food to the table nor pick up, and they don't like to take orders either‍

The lentil quinoa soup is really good, I would give them 5 stars if they were not out of The French baguette. Although they substituted it with the ciabatta bread, but it's just not the same. Their ciabatta is very fluffy and fluffed up with lots of air, (probably from using baking soda,) not much real bread material left after that. The French baguette is made with more of the traditional recipes. New thing: When a plastic card is used to pay, they ask for gratuity at the register before they provide the service. I think that is a bad practice and going from no tipping to "tip blindly" is not what showing gratuity is all about. They got that wrong, it is worse than no tipping, what they had before! Will come back for the soup!

I had a bowl with sweet potato noodles, some veggies and the Korean crispy chicken. The flavors were good, but the thing that struck me was that some of the items were essentially cold and others were lukewarm, but none of it was really hot. I think it's an inherent property of what they do. They never "grill" or warn all these items together. It would be much better IMO if all the items were stir fried or thrown on a grill quickly together to warm up the dish and meld the flavors. That said the Korean crispy chicken was flavorful and the noodles were a highlight, and seemed to be like Thai glass noodles I've had before. My dining partner got a bowl with the same noodles, some veggies and the salmon. She really like the salmon, and said her bowl was good. The restaurant was clean, the workers were very welcoming and helpful on informing how to pick bowl items, etc. Parking was very easy. Of course they accept all the standard forms of payment, including tap to pay, etc. Overall, if you like interesting yet potentially disparate flavors together in the same bowl, you will likely enjoy BIBIBOP. We had already eaten a few bites when I remembered to take the pics (Apologies).

They have a pretty extensive beer list here, and many of them are local choices. For appetizer, we got the couscous Mac and cheese balls. These are pretty close in nature to arancini, but with more cheese. My main course was their weekend dinner special, with prime rib accompanied by white cheddar mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. The prime rib was absolutely amazing, nice and tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were also great and are a very smooth consistency. For dessert, of course we had to get a pizookie! The triple chocolate delivers on its name. Served hot, it is well worth the wait after two courses of deliciousness. They have TVs around the bar area that have sports on. At the time, basketball and nascar had the most coverage. I wish they had the closed captioning on, since that makes it easier to tell what goes on if you're not right at the bar. The bathroom is kept clean there. My boyfriend and I are sure to come back on the weekday special going on, with select entrees and pizookies for $13 - what a deal! Hopefully this is sooner rather than later!

Then we waited to be noticed by the wait staff. And we waited, and waited. It took 17 minutes before anyone came to our table. We would have left but we had a $50 gift certificate to use. Finally someone came over. We ordered teas & an appetizer of flaming saganaki. We found it very tasty. For entered I ordered the Greek meatball sandwich. My wife got a cup of egg lemon bowl ( which is a soup she loves) & Keftethes ( with beef meatballs). I found the fries god & the meatballs & bread decent but the sauce was a little off to me which greatly reduced my enjoyment. It was just ok. My wife thought the soup was a bit thin but overall god with a strong lemon flavor. Her entree the meatballs were good, the green beans were cold & the roasted potatoes were decent. Overall she was meh. We ordered desserts to go. Baklava, Galaktoboureko ( custard in philo dough) & Oreo cake. Wife thought the baklava had an overpowering cinnamon taste which hurt it. The Galaktoboureko was basically sugar cream pie with philo crust. I thought it was ok but wife thought it should have been thinner. She also believes the to go containers aren't sufficient for these desserts due to the sugar syrup. The "Oreo cake" had one cookie to the side & was dry. When we gave the waitress our gift certificate she said they would take that off when they rang up the bill. She came back & the gift certificates were not taken off. I pointed this out to her & she went back to talk to whoever is running the register. When she came back she said she has no idea what's going on but they gave me a $50 bill to credit the $50 in gift certificates. My amazing wife surmised that they credited someone else's bill & gave us the $50 to make it right for us. Bottom line is all the staff we interacted with were friendly but the restaurant is very disorganized. Food was just ok. Can't say we were impressed.
