Since renovation, prices have gone up and quality has gone down. My mother in laws usual favorite black bean soup, ended up being mostly broth with a few black beans thrown in. My turkey sandwich had two measly tomatoes and one tiny piece of lettuce. I don't know about you, but when I pay $21 for food for two people, I expect to be over the top happy with my meal. Used to love Panera have been a fan for somewhere around 15 years. The latest two experiences at this particular site are EXTREMELY disappointing and I am now no longer a fan nor will I eat here again. Ordered a half salad to go and got it home, opened the box it was. Half of s half salad. A ridiculous representation of what a customer should get for their money... almost $6.00 .. I received about a dollars worth of lettuce and some condiments and an 1/8 of an inch of dressing that didn't cover even the little salad I received. This is the second time that this took place the first time I called and spoke with the manager who informed me that they were cracking down on the amount of portion that the customers were getting. I'm sorry but this is very disappointing and unacceptable. I would not recommend to any of my friends nor my family to eat at or from this restaurant. Came here for a blt sandwich. Went through the drive through made my order and pulled up to the window. After I paid I waited about 10 minutes for my food. Once I got home and opened up my bag and started to eat I realized I was given stale bread. I could barely bite into the sandwich! I was really craving a blt and hoped this could be my go to spot for them unfortunately I will probably never go back. What kind of person makes a sandwich with stale bread? The service is terrible. The employees are not propetly trained and are not familiar with the menu ingredients or prices. Ordering on the phone is an ordeal because the people who answer have to "check with the manager" for any information requested. read more

My family and I decided to try this place again after the remodel. I tried the online ordering system a week or so ago. When I arrived to pickup my food at the time the food was supposed to be ready, I asked the cashier if it was ready and she did t know. The manager told me that the printer was out of paper and they didn't get the order. This visit I tried the drive through, I placed my order and waited a long time to get it. When I got home it was missing half the order. Shame on me for not checking I guess. There are way better establishments in the area. Don't waste your money here. read more

Ehh it's alright now. Manager was pinching pennies. I called because I got home and my order wasn't correct. Manager Jorge turned into a detective and "talked to the person that made my food". Pretty much said there was nothing he could do because his worker claimed she made the food correctly. I've never had to sit on the phone for a while to wait for some detective work to be done. Just make it right and send a coupon or somehow make it better. I won't be going back. I'll spend my money somewhere else. read more

Sorry but I am sick and tired of the differences in amount of food with their soups and salads. It is blatantly obvious that their dine in portions are larger than their take out. The to-go containers are smaller than their dine in plates/bowls. And then when you point this out, you get attitude and get shown the to-go bowls, as if that will make them correct with their sizing. The food is good, even though their chicken has gone more towards to grisly side. Next time I'm in there, I will ask for dine in, then have them BRING ME the to-go boxes/cups, and see how it lines up, and then update this. Sick of being shorted on food because of them thinking we don't check anything or pay attention. Update 5/23: went there and it's exactly what I thought. They had to get an extra soup bowl to fit the soup that I had ordered for dine-in to fit in to the to-go cup. The salad barely fit! The kicker is that when I asked the guy who brought the food to the table for the to-go pieces, he wanted to take it to the back and package it up. I told him I could do it, and then we went back and forth ARGUING, basically where I was holding the plate down so he could take it. He KNEW that it wouldn't fit and wanted to take it back to short me. This makes me more angry than anything! read more

I miss the old Paradise at this location, which was so much better. Hate the re-model. The old place had lots of windows. This place is claustrophobic and boring, a Kneaders wannabe. The food is mediocre at best, and now that people can order at the counter instead of going through the line, it's SLOW. I stood there for 5 minutes (just wanted a cookie and had to get back to school) while some lady dithered about what to order. Three or four employees were milling around, but not one of them could be bothered to help me. Their iced tea is horrendous and their lemons are always old and chintzy. We have been going to this Panera since is was Paradise Bakery - many years. Usually good food and service. Not so much yesterday. I love the Thai Chicken salad, but this time the edamame/carrot/pepper topping was FROZEN and quite a surprise. I couldn't get anyone's attention as three girls were behind the take out counter (?)- not where you order but next to it. In front of the counter was a young man who was talking to them the whole time we were eating. And a few times, as a certain waitress walked by, he hugged and kissed her (not quickly). All in all, very inappropriate behavior in a business. And not being able to talk to anyone about my salad was an additional letdown. I tried going online to leave a comment, but apparently they don't want to know about anything that's not on the list that pops up when you select "Share Your experience" All that's there is comments about ordering process, locations, hours, etc. NOTHING about the place itself. I don't want to go back. May have to start going to Bell Rd location and hope for better. read more

Really The very worst Panera I have ever been too. I have been going to Panera and Paradise for 13 years. This one is so bad. Terrible customer service. Three people came in from the street and got pop and coffee and never paid. Never had a call in order. Never had a online food order. One couple came in and got water and coffee cups and refilled their Panera coffee cups 3 times. Sat and read the paper the whole time we were there and never paid a dime. They were senior citizens that should know nothing in the world is free. Place was dirty. This is 10 am on a Saturday! Black tea almost empty. My order was taken after a line in front of me of 3 orders. She read the order back to me correctly. My spouse's food came and she looked at me and said "did you order something too?" She is the one that took my order!! I sure hope all Panera's will not become what this Panera is. So sad. read more

I will mot be frequenting the Panera Bread restaurant at Lake Pleasant and Happy Valley ever again. My husband brought me home soup and a sandwich. The sandwich had nothing but lettuce, tomato and a very small piece of cheese. They forgot the ham. Because I did not want Joe to go down there and get another sandwich and I was not well I thought I could just tell them when I went in the next time. A few days latter I went in and told them what had happened. I did not get a good response. The manager told me I could be anyone walking of the street and telling them a story. In other words I was lying. I don't lie. That's the end of Panera for me. I guess the customer is not always right with Panera. read more

What a great experience!! The food was so delicious and fresh. I was so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The management was even personally going around to ensure people had a good experience!! I'm surprised this location hasn't gotten better reviews because it was clean, fast, friendly, and so yummy! Panera used to be a favorite of mine when I lived in CO. They had a great bakery and great salads at lunch. Well that's all changed! I hadn't been for a while, but decided to go for breakfast since they just remodeled this location. The breakfast brioche sandwiches were disgusting. The egg and bacon looked like they were days old, bun was hard, cheese wasn't melted....sad to say that I prefer McDonalds over this mess. The smoothies are ok, but even worse is that everything is overpriced and food quality is worse than fast food. Why spend so much on packaging and remodeling while your food quality suffers significantly? Look at the reviews Panera! Few people like your food anymore so it's a matter of time before you are gone. With IHOP next door and better lunch options, Einstein Bagels, and Jamba, fast food everywhere that is consistent, there's too much competition for this lack of care. I won't ever be back here. Too add an update- I complained to corporate and they added a whole $10 to MyPanera acct - when I actually spent $16 on that crap yesterday! read more

Then I spend $45 and they don't even scan my rewards card! Managers are nice, but order wasn't correct and I had to drive all the way back to get a 9 dollar Mac and cheese and the bread for a "bread bowl"... tried to call and make them aware of the issue and that I would be coming back in to get the remainder of my order.. the auto message states "11:30-1 we are really busy so it may take longer than normal to ANSWER your call" walked in ask the guy working the counter who was leaning on it as if he were resting why don't you guys answer the phone he stated. "We're busy" so I counted the amount of empty tables there were about 8 that I could count and see.... if that's busy I'd hate to be there when you are actually busy.
