We were excited to try this place out but it just didn't hit the mark. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken added. There was very little pineapple and green onion in it, and the majority of the rice was still white. It came looking like a plain container of white rice that somebody poured a tiny bit of soy over. It was very bland. Nothing like a true Thai pineapple rice. My husband ordered the vegetable fried rice and found the same experience. The sauce to rice ratio was significantly off, and there were not many veggies. I felt more like a side of white rice. As far as service, it was our first time in so we weren't sure the procedures and the staff was pretty unengaging. Friendly service. Clean, open and comfortable inside. They definitely do more to-go business than dine-in although we did dine-in. Both our main dishes were very good and well portioned. There are many different items on the menu to select from. You can adjust your heat level which is good. Note that this whole chain is in partnership with an app called InKind. InKind gives you 20% cashback for every restaurant you eat at. The fine print is that this 20% cashback disappears after 2 months if you don't use InKind. Also note that Costco sometimes gives discounts on InKind (the normal Costco price is $80 for $100). Thus, you can get anywhere from 20%-35% off your Thai Chili 2go meal just by purchasing deals. The only thing I realized is that you have to talk to a cashier and not use the automated system in order to pay with InKind. I got a Pad Prig Pao which is basically a variation of Pad Siew. Adding a protein increases the cost. It would've cost me $17.46 but thanks to their partnership with InKind, it only cost $11.35. They do give you a hefty portion and it comes out pretty hot, but I must say that the quality of the food was average. The customer service was above average. It also had very little jalepenos in it. I had such a great experience at Thai Chili 2 Go! First time here --just passing by. I also want to caveat that when I try a new place I like to try various dishes to see if I will come back. I tried the Tom Kha Gai Soup and it was absolutely packed with flavor. I love that you can customize the heartiness by adding more of the ingredients you enjoy -- such a great idea! The Pineapple Fried Rice was delicious, too. I ordered it medium spice and it was spot on: perfectly balanced with just the right kick. The Yellow Curry (medium) was amazing as well -- bold, comforting, and seasoned just right and the veggies were perfect What impressed me even more was how quickly everything was ready. My order took about 15-20 minutes, and you can tell it's all made to order. I saved so much time compared to sitting down at a restaurant, yet the quality was just as good -- if not better! Stopped by last night to grab dinner for the family. The place was hopping but the vibe was definitely a to go only atmosphere. No one was eating in. The service was decent, wait wasn't too bad. The portion control process was a bit of a miss. We ordered 2 of the same dish and 1 came with the normal amount and the second was grossly less. (Pad Seui with beef). We also tried the pad Thai, curry, spring rolls, and wontons. For 4 meals and the 2 sides we spent almost $85 for a "fast food" to go Thai place. The flavors were okay but compared to another local Thai place I feel like this was overpriced and just not as good. This place is decent but for the same price I think I would prefer driving a few more minutes down the road for the other place. I predict this store closes within the year. When I got our order home today, none of the "extras" we paid for had been included in the dish. So when I called, I was told they are short staffed as six employees just quit. They have no manager in the store so orders come in and go out with ZERO oversight. This is now the third instance where they cannot READ their own web order and whomever is preparing the food, just makes the standard recipe and COMPLETELY IGNORES any of the specials. Unfortunately we don't have many options for food up here so we are stuck having to suffer through their inconsistencies. Food is edible. We order pineapple fried rice, added bean sprouts and chicken. Barely any chicken, no bean sprouts, and I only saw a few small pieces of egg. We tried to order on the website and after 3 tries gave up. Each time we would try to checkout the checkout button would not light up or allow us to select it and everything was filled out/checked. So finally just went there and ordered on the kiosk which worked great. After all was said and done it took over 30 minutes to get food. I enjoy the food here but the experience is what makes me not want to come back. Every single time we come here the soda machine doesn't work. Every single time. They will still sell me a $3 cup and I get up to the machine and only lemonade works. Every time. Today I asked if it was working and they attempted to fix it and then just walked off. We order online which is super easy and my wife picks it up and brings it home super fast. She looks in then bag and our daughter's entree is missing. No biggie, she went back to get it. They put her at the bottom of the list for a return! Bottom of the list! And she had to ask multiple times what's going on only to be told 30 minutes after she had returned that she's next. Went into this location tonight, friendly atmosphere, and a welcoming environment. We ordered the Pad Thai and it was just a little too dry for us. I asked the young lady who explained she was the general manager if she could replace it or remake it with a little more sauce and she did with no hesitation and gave us a free drink just for the hassle.
