Food is outstanding but the price is very high and not a good value staff is very pleasant

Definitely would not go there ever again. The prices are off the chart. The cleanliness could be improved as I noticed many tables had food trays and needed to be cleaned. The food is not what it used to be and quality has gone way down in last 10 years. Breads and rolls are not (to my experience) soft but crusty and hard to chew. Don't get me started on the meats used in their sandwiches! For the most part the deli meats are poor quality and even if they were good you can't count on getting a good portion. Cheese is thick and you have very few options. Overall I could not recommend any Panera store. read more

We had placed a catering order for 10/12/2024 for our wedding. We wanted to make sure all the people in the party had breakfast. We prepaid over $100 for this and set it for delivery. When they weren't there after 15 minutes, we tried calling, but the phone line just rang and rang. Finally, my husband drove over there only to find one worker locked out of the building. The worker explained that the manager just "didn't show up" for work that day and they couldn't get in the building. The poor worker was so nervous, but we understood it wasn't his fault. We had to quickly pivot and ended up getting way better bagels from a local place a better price. The charge went away from my card, but nobody ever called us, or apologized, or did anything to make this right. They really almost ruined our wedding, and they certainly made our wedding morning 100 times more stressful than it needed to be. Used to love this place. But I got expensive and all of their drinks either have caffeine or tons of sugar. Last time I went in my car didn't go through and I walked away before I noticed. When I came back, I felt like I've gotten yelled at. And the situation was just that electronic scanner didn't go through. I'll give them another chance, but they've got to step it up. read more

Food pick up sucks. They never have anything on the shelf and sometimes give me other people's orders. Not very happy about this because usually I am in a rush and have to wait forever. Drinks are honestly delicious but they never have coffee things for us to make it. The lemonade and tea are good, especially the charged lemonade!! Clean: they do clean very often which is great but I see lots of crumbs over tables or on counters at the lemonade but that is understandable knowing it is the customers fault and because the workers can't clean every second. The bathrooms are always clean which is wonderful! Sip club is definitely awesome and an excellent deal the only problem is the order. I am allowed to get a free drink every 2 hours but they always say I got one and can't get another when it has been like 14 hours after my first one! Insane! Honestly they need to get this problem fixed because this happens more often than you would think. But they do give you regular or large sizes which is good. Other: my thoughts on this place overall is 7/10, also wanted to add how it is very pricey. Definitely get sip club so you can save lots of money. read more

I've always been a fan of Panera bread. One thing I will say is that it's always consistent. No matter where you go, what location, you're always going to taste the same kind of food. I will give it an A+ for consistency. There's no bigger fan of Panera bread than my father. He has the app, he knows where the locations are, etc. Also, his mother, my grandmother loves Panera bread so anytime they're together they get it. It's pretty cute. This location in Colony place is one of the biggest ones I've ever seen. It's one of the only restaurants in the shopping plaza, I believe there are only a few but it's a great place for Panera bread as it's one of the only quick restaurants. In order to order ahead of time or order pick up, you must download the app. You can't call in. I'm pretty sure you can also access it via their website. We called ahead so that it was ready and we did stay and dine. It was my father and I as well as my one year-old son. They have high chairs and they have a great kid's menu. Lots of variety in comparison to most kid's menus. I ordered my son the turkey sandwich and it came with a yogurt and a drink. I ordered myself a tea and a half a chipotle chicken sandwich and a half Fuji apple chicken salad. My father ordered the green goddess salad with a baguette. We were famished and really didn't even care what we were eating to begin with, we scarfed everything down with no leftovers. Overall, it's Panera bread. It's not going to blow your mind, but it's a perfect fix for when you're hungry and don't have a lot of time. I know, recently they added spicy crispy chicken and a regular crispy chicken sandwich their menu. They also have a loaded mac & cheese. My two co-workers and I wanted a quick lunch so we decided on Panera bread. I am not a fan of corporate restaurants and was not enthused about dining there. Walked in and was greeted by a very nice cashier with a nice smile. I ordered the "signature spicy chicken" sandwich with potato chips and a bottle of water. Total cost...$15.75!!! I was hungry so I reluctantly paid, and gave a $1.00 tip to the cashier with the nice smile. Five minutes later I received my food on a tray. I looked down and observed a small bun with a piece of breaded chicken with an orange sauce covering the chicken. There was nothing else on the bun. No lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, etc... Also on the tray was a bag of chips. I am not one to normally complain but when I spend $16.00 for lunch I expect something much better than this. It was adequate at best and helped my hunger pains. So disappointed. I ordered a full size Greek salad and I think the only difference between what I received and a green salad was the two olives. There were also 3 slivers of onion and 3 tiny cubes of tomato but I think you get that on the green salad. Maybe it was the dressing. Oh there were 2 tiny peppers. Maybe that was it. The Panera at the Grove is doing a good job with socially distanced eat-in and easy pick-up of all the usual treats. Allison did a great job helping us sort through all the options and pick the perfect snack. While she was busy bringing deliveries out to drive-by diners and helping other dine-in guests, she made sure we were happy with everything we tried. The chocolate pastry/croissant was the best I've had in a long time. They also play cool jazz music, and they have fireplaces. And when you order a sandwich they give you a buzzer. You can walk over and watch your sandwich being made. That's some great service. read more

You can't beat Panera Bread. Their sandwiches are reliably fresh and tasty and I am a huge fan of their broccoli cheese soup. They also do a terrific chai tea latte. Best Panera by far! I order a lot of catering, sometimes on short notice. This Panera has no problems making a Deluxe assortment with a 30 minute notice. The catering coordinator, I think her name is Kate is amazing. When it comes to picky eaters, specific cookie orders, or delivering to exit 7.... there is nothing she can't do! The Colony Place location wants at least a three hour window for catering orders but sometimes I don't know until an hour before if the office needs catering. Great location... Panera Bread says their turkey is real Roasted Turkey. The so called real turkey is Deli Turkey. You check the sodium content online, and it is over 1000 mg of sodium. Real Roasted turkey would be around 100 mg of sodium. I was disappointed that it was Deli Turkey, which does not taste like real roasted turkey'. I do love their cream of Broccoli soup. read more

I generally have good service at this Panera, but it's a hit or miss a lot of the time. They almost never have enough people behind the counter which causes lines out the door, and I've ordered rapid pick up from this Panera before only to find the sandwich to be destroyed in the container. Bread soggy and ripped, ingredients everywhere...I tend to skip over this location and go to the one over at Colony Place when I can. Everyone who works here seems incredibly nice but when I'm looking for consistency and a quick experience, I'll go to the other Plymouth location. read more

They only ever have 1 register open, even with a huge line. I waited in line 15 minutes behind 1 other customer before leaving. They don't have kiosks like most other Paneras so I couldn't order quickly and I was in a rush. It's just unacceptable to have 1 register open during the weekday lunch rush. read more
