I come to this location quite often as it is extremely close to where I work and close to home and the drive-through is convenient. Since this location has been open I have been a customer and every time I come to this location, and I do mean EVERY time, they are out of almost everything I order and I have to choose a substitute. On this particular occasion, three out of the four things I ordered I had to substitute. When I got to the window, I was then informed that the soup that I had ordered, they had just run out of as well!? So I had to then substitute that too! Come on! Get it together! It's 5:45pm on a Wednesday night! Dinner time rush. How do you guys expect to stay in business? I go here a lot, mostly because it is close to my work, has a drive through, and has the most decent of all of the other fast food choices around. The staff is super friendly. I have only once I had a hard time. I ordered a soda, paid for it, and when I asked for it, she believed I was lying to her and asked a manager. The soup is always consistently good. The pasta is hit and miss. I stopped ordering pasta for this reason. I am also aware that at peak times, the drive through here can be frustratingly slow. Bit I always keep in mind that it is not completely fast food so thats why. Overall, I recommend it, if you're close and hungry for something relatively fast and cheap. read more

Food was ok. Employees very loud, one using very bad language, one making farting sounds - I hope! I'm guessing there was no manager on duty or hopefully one of these individuals was not the manager! I want to like this Panera - it's convenient for grabbing breakfast after therapy or on my way to work and generally it's all good. But twice now they have ZERO bagels when I show up. Seriously? Who is buying up all the damn bagels at Panera on Friday mornings? Why don't you guys have a plan to coordinate for this better? I just want a damn bagel guys...that's not asking much. We've been to this location a few times and every time we come we regret not going elsewhere. The location is nice and convenient, the food is great, but the staff are not very professional or friendly. They could definitely use some training. Several times now including tonight, we did not feel welcome, as we walked in; the person at the counter left as we walked in. The manager was there but didn't really acknowledge that we were there for a while. Last time we were there, we asked for coffee creamer and had to wait while the kid finished playing with his cell phone before we got the creamer. Bottom line is that they need to work on training their staff on better customer service and helping the people who come to spend their hard earned dollars feel a bit more welcome. read more

Stopped in to wait for the I-205 bridge traffic to calm down. Ordered a chicken cesar salad and baguette with a lemonade to drink. The salad was fresh and delicious, the baguette was also fresh and tasty. Lemonade was a good way to wash it all down. Good job Panera. I'm impressed. read more

I love Panera, but not this one. I have been here 4 times and 3 out of 4 times my order has been wrong or incredibly disappointing. This last visit I should have took a picture I ordered half a tuna sandwich. They were out of the bread it usually comes on got wheat instead, my choice, no problem. Order is to go. I get it it for sit down. Corrected. I get in the car and head out open sandwich and am not happy, the tomato slice was thicker than the tuna they didn't even bother to spread. The time before that was great. My second visit I specifically asked not to have it Panini style just a regular standard sandwich they grilled the sandwich. I had the worst experience at this location. I was the only customer at the registers and it still took about five minutes for someone to help me despite them walking past me numerous times. Ordering went quickly. Clerk was quick and friendly. But it took longer than it should have to get our orders. The person I was with ordered a sandwich ahead of me in line. I then placed my order at the other cash register and also ordered a sandwich. Even though my friend ordered first her sandwich took much longer to get than mine. Neither item was anything that had to be cooked. Orders should be prepared in the order they are taken in line. We had to bus our own tables. The bread seems like it's changed. I always loved Panera for a sandwich and soup that was predictably good and had a nice crusty hearty bread and my order today seemed like any old deli sandwich on bread that could have been sliced mass produced factory wonderbread, even the side of what is usually a nice piece of baguette was gross. I usually seek out Panera over going anywhere else just because the bread is good, I don't know what kind of internal changes they have going on but I've lost any reason to return and I hope they realize what a mistake they've made with these new changes. read more

I always love Panera but this particular location has had its share of learning curves. At first everything was great, then horrible, now they are doing their best to get back to great. The food is always delicious but the portions vary each trip which makes zero sense. I ordered 5 cinnamon crunch bagels and 1 Asiago bagel and paid with Ipay. When I got there they said sorry we have NO Cinnamon Crunch bagels. They said they had French Toast and would give me those instead. I reluctantly agreed, when I got home I found 2 Asiago bagels 1 French Toast bagel and about 4 other types of hard old crappy bagels that I would never buy. To say the least I was very disappointed. I usually go to the Panera near my home in Gresham. I will stick with them from now on. I called the Panera on Glen Winding back and told them how I really didn't appreciate them telling me that they were going to give me French Toast bagels and then I ended up with a bunch of crap I would never order. I have been eating at this Panera for years. Today my husband and I went in for a quick bite mid-afternoon. We were greeted kindly by the manager, who was also tending the cashier station. After my husband decided on what he wanted, I proceeded to tell the Manager my usual order. An Asiago cheese bagel with a slice oF cheese and bacon. It is not a normal order, but it is their regular bagel with egg, bacon, and cheese, minus the cheese. The manager told me straight, "no." I said why I order it all the time (as I am allergic to eggs), so I pay FULL price for the sandwich with just the cheese and bacon. The manager proceeded to ask me if I had ordered this modified sandwich there at his specific store. Well, my husband was not having it and proceeded to tell him that we order this sandwich from this store. I had just been there a little over a week ago. I believe that the manager did not know ow how to input this order into the computer and so he just told me no. He put our order in. He asked if we wanted to donate our change to charity as well. My husband, being annoyed, said no, and the manager did it anyway. Not a great experience at all. Maybe hire managers that know how to take customer orders and respond with respect. read more

Takes for ever for someone to come to the till, always a line, people in the back just come and go when they can see that their is a line, no sense of urgency, portions are small compared to price, coffee tastes weird, old cookies are packaged and advertised as fresh, they are not and can be a day old. I like going to Panera's on Sunday morning after church. I like their food and the location and cleanliness is good.. my problem is the service can be quite slow, almost like they don't care or they are not aware of anyone waiting. In the morning on Sunday, there is always only one person working the customers coming in.. Couldn't they have a 2nd backup person in the line gets long. Also, the cashier seems to be only capable of one speed-slow, causal, and social. So, no matter what you order, it takes a while. I mean just to place the order... my other complaint is the Internet is incredibly slow. I asked it it could be improved or upgraded, but I was told that no one could do that. I came in tonight pretty near closing and wasn't able to get what I wanted but I got something WAY better. I walk in and an employee by the name of JAMES caught me in my tracks and told me about my gift card I had in my hand how their location's system doesn't take it. I didn't mind, not their fault. It's corporate's. The biggest thing was that he was on break but still offered to help and was attentive. He quickly went behind the counter and helped me figure out what I can do. Because of some huge rush earlier in the day they were out of a TON of stuff. But they did what they could to accommodate. It even got to a point where I had to re order everything, some young blonde lady was working in the bakery the night of Sept 3rd (I couldn't get her name for the life of me) was amazingly nice. I go to this Panera location a couple mornings a week and I'm going to stop going. The food at Panera is decent, but the service is terrible. In the morning they don't have adequate staff to handle the business they do get. Customers are coming in and ordering dozens of bagels and the lone cashier has to take the order, slice all the bagels, put the boxes together and then package up the order. While the cashier is doing all of this the line of customers waiting to order continues to grow. I often see staff milling around in the back but none of them come out front to assist with order taking. On "Bagel Thursday's" (the day everyone feels it necessary to bring a ton of bagels into the office) you can spend 10 minutes waiting to get a cup of coffee. It's just not worth it, I will find somewhere else to go. read more
