At Panera last evening for light dinner. They were swamped with online orders and delivery. They did the best they could under the difficult situation The staff was most apologetic and came to our table a number of times Time of the year with travelers added to the situation. They worked hard and stayed on task. Especially Perry the floor person Panera is very lucky to have such a hard worker and kind person. Moving from table to table seeing to customers needs. Such a friendly experience here. I was waited on by a young woman named (shayna) I believe. She was super pleasant and made me feel like I was appreciated as a customer. Out of all the times I've been here and seen her working she is always working hard with a smile on her face, she's definitely an asset to this store. All Panera is pretty much the same in my eyes, unfortunately what separates some from others is the environment and the hospitality you are a treated with once you enter. This place is one of the better Panera Breads I've been too. Great service, everyone was so nice. After I received my to-go order, the server said "sorry for the wait". First, I was very surprised she said sorry, normally in California, they don't say shit. Second, I was only waiting for about 3 minutes. It always amazes me whenever I come back to Queensbury, people are always so nice even when the weather is so shitty outside, but in California where the weather is 72 and sunny every single day, you'll be lucky if you get a "Hello" when you enter. Always glad to be around positive people despite outside circumstances. I'll definitely be going back before I leave next week. BTW Asian Sesame Chicken Salad is the bomb, its like having Chinese New Year in your mouth. Don't worry I'm asian so it's not racist. Well what a difference 3000 miles makes. as a reqular visitor of this chain in arizona, i must say i was really disapointed with this location. my 1st surprise was how unwelcoming and warn out this location was. Next was the lack of table service when I was handed a little coaster to come get my own food, and then I had to fight my way thru a cluster of people who where trying to get there own food also, i was surprised that they dont bring your order (i thought i was at Mcdonalds). Lastly when it cost $45 to feed 2 people i expect more. sorry to say i would not recommend this location. THEY NEED TO PUT THE "C" BACK INTO CUSTOMER SERVICE. wont visit this Panera again. This Panera Bread has clearly been renovated recently but it is poorly managed. Every table is filthy and it appears to have not been vacuumed all day. We arrived around 8:00 and waited over 20 minutes for Mac and cheese and tomato soup. When an establishment appears this unkept I worry that the bathrooms match... not good. This was my first dining experience at a Panera Bread. I have never been a huge fan of the "Chain" restaurants, my best experiences are usually at independently owned establishments. The visit here at Panera has not changed my train of thought. For first timers patrons we were probably not the easiest to deal with we were a bit confused with all there was to take in. The cashier was cordial, but seemed a bit impatient from the start. We placed our order and hoped for the best as there were no real descriptions for the sandwiches. We were instructed to take our beverages from the table top cooler on the counter along with a frozen lemonade. We sat in one of the booth's. Right away you can see the area was soiled an in need of a good deep cleaning. There were crumbs all over the seats and floor, there was also a white substance, (that appeared to be some sort of cream soup) splattered all over the wall next to me. We received our meal in a timely manner. Presentation is key and the staff at Panera were right on point. The food was not only great to look at, it made for a very enjoyable lunch. I found it a bit pricey for the 3 soups, sandwiches, and beverages that we received. Overall I rate Panera a 3. This location is in desperate need of a good old fashion cleaning and a boost in staff morale Panera will be a once and a while kinda spot for me. read more

This is a review for their catering services. I have used this Panera twice for catering. (I use the online ordering services) The first time I used the service I showed up at the designated time and the manager had no idea what I was talking about (despite the fact that I had an online confirmation), after about 10 minutes he "found" my online order and had it made. In total I was 45 minutes late for my appointment. And in sales that is a client and money out of my pocket. I waited awhile and decided to give them one more shot. Again, I ordered online, showed up at the designated time, manager had no idea about the order, eventually found it, made it-This time I was only 35 minutes late. First and last at this location. First let me explain that I would have been a weekly if not more frequent customer, I work in queensbury as of recently and my wife and kids ate obsessed with Panera shop weed order out there often. I figured I'd give these guys a try because they're across the street from my work. I placed my order at 10 a.m. to pick up at 6:30 p.m. over $50 in food and an entire to get it right. I get home and of course my wife's soup is missing from her pick 2.......... my wife's soup is like gold to her. She was upset but I never give anyone a hard time because I work in fast food, but when I called and respectfully requested a refund obviously whichever coward was on the phone didn't want management to find out so they fed me a line of bull "what is your address we will send you something even better than a refund, it will be a voucher for a full meal on us" ok I say I can deal with that. I get the envelope in the mail and it says......"enjoy a free drink on us the next time you come in"......free drink?? Who asked for a freaking drink? And yes okay all you devil's advocates out there I know I should have checked the bags but at Panera? It's ok not a big fan overall. Salad has to much dressing on it and the eggs in the chicken cob salad taste like they were boiled last week. The chicken you get in the salad has zero flavor do they boil that also . This location is very convenient if you are shopping around in Queensbury. The staff has never been anything but friendly to me, and I would recommend it to anyone. I work in the mall in Queensbury, and regularly order their rapid pick up. The only downside to rapid pick up with salads, is that I feel you get MUCH less in your salad for rapid pick up, compared to when you sit down in-house and they've also forgotten to give me utensils in my rapid pick up orders quite a few times. But as I said, if you are sitting down in the location to enjoy your meal, I have never had a bad experience here. read more

Consistent! Always dependable. Prompt service. Excellent coffee. Always fresh with the brew times written on each carafe. The food isn't, out of the park, good. Yet, I'm always satisfied. I'm happy with the prices. I enjoy the variety of salads and sandwiches. I would enjoy a breakfast sandwich served all day. Working nights for 13 years, I often longed for one at 2pm. I've had the same experience with Panera in Rutland and Albany. Chain restaurants are not my first choice, but in a pinch this will work. read more

While at work two days ago we decided to place an order for delivery. We placed the order at around 2:30 and was told it would take 30 to 45 minutes. About an hour and 20 mins later the delivery man showed up with what was supposed to be our order. Upon further inspection of the bag, we realized that he had given our order to someone else. He promised he would be "right back" with our order. We knew this was going to take a while because they would have to remake it. I called the manager to speak about the incident and he honestly didn't even care. All he basically said was, "yeah, he's leaving soon with your fresh food". My coworkers and I finally got to eat our food 2 hours and 5 mins after our initial order. They threw in a free cookie for the inconvenience . This location is very inconsistent for service and food as well as cleanliness. They seldom staff correctly for rush periods. This last 2 weeks was typical with order staff working bakery while the line grew longer. Also serve warm not hot soup all the time. Seems like lots of turnover and untrained people. read more

I visited this place on Sat 05/28 afternoon since it was close to our hotel- Sleep Inns. I ordered Panini, Bagel, chocolate croissant and mango shake. Even though it was in the late afternoon, food was still very fresh. People working there were really nice. For good food at a reasonable price, you should visit this Panera bread. Also TJ max and Home depot in the same shopping center. Strongly recommend this service oriented place. You will not be disappointed with their good food either. read more

We came in today and ordered a Bacon Turkey Bravo and a Pick 2 Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Mac and Cheese, which came out to $17.97. After trying my debit card a few times and finding out i actually had no money left on my card, the manager came over and comped the meal. A few hours later I came back and paid for the meal in cash.
