I took my vegetarian friend Yuja here for a vegetarian sandwich (meat makes them sick and it's not just a personal choice), we spoke with the server at length to ensure it would be vegetarian and they rang up a ham sandwich instead by mistake. That's not alone is not an issue and mistakes happen, but when we drove all the way back with the receipt we were treated with open contempt and they refused to give us what we originally ordered because we hadn't thought to bring the sandwich itself back which I've never seen a restaurant require for an exchange. Honestly, there was rudeness at every point of our interaction with them including a cashier just waving us off when we asked what was in one of the menu options. For my vegan friends you can get the seasonal greens salad with bread or chips. The onions are not chopped much though! Breakfast and internet this morning, I found a reasonably quiet spot next to the fireplace so it was quite toasty. As well, a power outlet let me get my phone back up to 100%. I chose the four cheese souffle and it was very tasty. Crumbly base, flavorful and easy to eat. I enjoyed it. Refillable coffee was good with the usual fixings. The internet here was slow. I do not recommend going to this Panera whatsoever. The food was made inappropriately without the proper sanitary conditions, and the place is infested with insects and roaches. I'm addition, while I was working there a week ago, the manager Stephanie was not being very nice to some of the customers. She made a sandwich incorrectly for this customer who was allergic to certain items that she put on it. When the customer brought it to her attention, she gave a really snotty attitude to them and belittled them. In the amount of time I have been there, I have never worked with a manager as awful as Stephanie. Decided to stop in here early one morning (somewhere between 7:00 and 7:30) for some breakfast. I ordered a coffee and a bacon, egg, and cheese. Coffee was the pour-it-yourself kind. There were several options, including a light and dark roast, as well as a decaf option. Coffee was middle-of-the-road... nothing to write home about, but not horrible terrible either. The breakfast sandwich was, like coffee, middle-of-the-road. I generally liked the balance of ingredients, however, a little more bacon wouldn't have hurt (does it ever?). I am also a fan of them using real egg! My greatest issue with the sandwich was that it had a rather aggressive, sharp flavor. This came mostly from the bread and the cheese. While sharp flavors have their uses, it is seldom ideal for a breakfast sandwich. Finally, I found there to be a little too much salt for my taste (though with bacon and cheese, I won't count this against them) Then there are the prices... while the coffee was priced reasonably at ~$2, I found ~$5 for an unremarkable sandwich a little steep. This is consistent with prices at similar locations, only the quality doesn't correspond to the price. Location was clean and spacious, however, the WiFi was terribly slow! In summary: an average rating for an average experience. Not a bad place to get breakfast per se, but not a daily choice. read more

I've been to many Panera locations and have never had an experience as poor as I did at this location. I was there with a large party (five adults and three kids) for a late lunch. It was around 2:30, well past the lunch rush, but we decided to order from the kiosk to make it easier on the staff given the size of our party. After I had entered everyone's order, the kiosk couldn't process the payment. Fine, technology fails sometimes, it happens. Still, it had taken so long to enter our order into the system that we really didn't want to have to start all over again at the register. A member of my party asked the cashier and another staff member if they could somehow process the order from the register, but we were repeatedly (and somewhat irately) told that there was nothing they could do and that technology isn't perfect. Well, yeah, we understand that. But they could've done exactly what I did, which was transcribe the entire order from the kiosk onto a piece of paper and bring it to the cashier to re-enter. Customer service 101. The icing on the cake at this visit? The PB&J sandwiches we had ordered for two of the kids, at more than $5 each, weren't even sandwiches. We literally received two pieces of bread with miniature cups of peanut butter and jelly on the side. Not having to make my own sandwich is the only reason I'm willing to pay such a huge markup. The food at this location is still (usually) good quality, but the service has gone downhill since my last review. In August, I bit into a chicken bone that was in my Fuji Apple Chicken salad. I spoke to the staff that waited on me to alert them to the problem (I didn't want others to get bones in their salads). Instead of apologizing, the staff just laughed at me. I was upset & wrote to Panera's customer service on their website. They didn't respond until 6 months later, February! Yesterday, I stopped in and asked to order the Power Mediterranean Chicken Salad from their hidden menu. The cashier typed the order in the register incorrectly, so the salad was not the one I'd ordered. I was able to get the correct salad made for me, but by then the rest of my party had already finished their lunches. So, I'll still visit this Panera Bread location if others request we go there, but I don't suggest it when selecting a dinning location. read more

Went to food prepare section to tell them the sandwich wasn't in there, the First Lady said sorry and said she will make me one, then another older lady heard came look in my bag and said loudly" the sandwich was in there I am sure!" Sorry to say but accusing a customer of stealing is uncalled for! I dispute with her saying that it was never there, I didn't even leave the place, I don't have a purse on me or anything so where the hell do you think I put that "supposedly sandwich" you claimed you put in? She still argued with me after I told her again that it was never there. Worker needs more training of talking to customer and don't go around accusing people! Worst service ever! Panera is awesome and I tried this location in Quincy since I was passing by. Usually I love their baked good and sandwiches, but I ordered the asiago roast beef sandwich for ~$7 and got the WORLD'S TINIEST SANDWICH (see picture). What the F---?! $7 for this?! Both of the halves together barely made a REAL half sandwich. The sandwich was great but I felt totally ripped off. I know this is not usual since I had their sandwiches before. Was going to give 1 or 2 stars only for ripping me off but I wrote to Panera customer service via their website. The GM of the Quincy location actually responded promptly via email and said they would send me a free sandwich certificate and fix this problem. Now that's customer service from corporate. Bottom line: Panera's usually great, they goofed up this time, but I have to say they have great customer service when you have a problem and email into their corporate website.
