We order catering from here for work. If you want delivery you have to order online you can't call. The food is exactly what you would expect from Panera. For my vegan friends you can get the seasonal greens salad with bread or chips. The onions are not chopped much though! We were a little disappointed because one of the vegetarian salads we ordered came with chicken. So just a heads up if you place a large order there may be a mistake.

    Cooked perfectly and served hot.

So much chicken in the chipotle chicken sandwich. The mac-n-cheese was cooked perfectly. Delicious food. But please remember to check for silverware and napkins, we had to go back and ask for them.

Breakfast and internet this morning, I found a reasonably quiet spot next to the fireplace so it was quite toasty. As well, a power outlet let me get my phone back up to 100%. I chose the four cheese souffle and it was very tasty. Crumbly base, flavorful and easy to eat. I enjoyed it. Refillable coffee was good with the usual fixings. The internet here was slow. Almost too slow to be useable, after about ten minutes I switched to my hotspot. [Review 9947 overall, 1526 of 2018.]

I ordered an iced coffee via rapid pick-up. The rapid pick-up section is in the back of the restaurant - could be easily missed. The coffee was ready within five minutes after I placed my order. I requested for one sugar in my coffee; it seemed as if I was biting into mini rocks as the sugar is not fine like other coffee spots.

This a good place for a sandwich/soup combo. Pricier than going to McDonald's near by, but it always leaves me satisfied.

Chow Foon (8/10): Extremely solid, with plenty of wok hei. I always judge chow foon off of the beef, and they did pretty well here. It was tender and flavorful. Noodles had perfect texture. Chicken Quarter Appetizer (7/10): This was pretty good fried chicken. Very crispy. I think Cafe Mami in Porter Square still does it better. It was a bit too greasy for me. It's VERY value though ($9.99 for a massive piece) Bolo Bao w/ Silky Scramble Egg (8.5/10): I haven't had this combo before, but it was very good. Their silky scramble egg dishes are a must-try. Cream-Filled French Toast topped with Ovaltine (9/10): Delicious. They somehow made cheese work with this. I applaud it. Baked Pork Chop w/ Portuguese Sauce (8.5/10): Portuguese sauce was delicious. Pork was tender and flavorful. Cheese on top was delicious. We waited about 90 minutes for Saturday lunch. I would highly recommend not coming with more than 4 people. If you do, you should split your party. They only have one large table. Service was very good, though. Food came out super fast.

As for wait time, I have been here twice during lunch and on the second trip I did have to wait 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant was packed and there were plenty of takeout orders throughout the meal when I dined in both time. Clearly, a local favorite. You can try the trio appetizer that lets you try the fish ball, fish dumpling, and rice rolls. It's the right amount to share with three people and each person gets a taste of the three appetizers. My favorite had to be the rice balls, followed by the fish dumplings, and last the rice noodles. Of the toasts I have tried so far, I preferred the sweet toast dessert filled with milk as opposed to the truffle egg toast. For entree, I have to say, the fried chicken with the omelet egg is a must try. Next would be the Hainese chicken. Then third with be the sorrowful rice, which is two fried eggs and bbq pork. Everything was so flavorful. You have to try the milk teas. If you prefer sweet, go for the ice bear milk tea, but if you like a bit bitter, go for the hot version and add sugar to your preference. Overall, food came at a fast pace, service attentive. There is plenty of seating end even seating in a private dining space for a larger group of 10 or so in the back of the restaurant. I would definitely be coming back. See my pictures.

My only issue is how tightly they pack the tables--you literally couldn't share a secret with your date without flanking tables hearing you. If I'd have known, I'd have asked to sit at the bar, which would have been more intimate (so four stars, but food is the bomb). Definitely make reservations--there will be a line at 8 pm. The speakers played 80s hip hop. The place is lively to say the least. We had the duck salad, mussels (ask for an extra order of charred bread WHEN you order--needed to sop up the delicious sauce). It took 15 minutes for extra bread when I realized the two pieces weren't enough. We also tried the beef cheek fried rice, short rib (amazing) and the crawfish noodles. The rice and noodles had fish roe throughout which made for a delightful mouth feel. My date had the lychee martini. I had the lychee mocktail, which was delicious. For dessert, we shared a slice of avocado cheesecake! Odd but totally delicious with a cookie-like crust and ribbon of brown butter buttercream. Chef's kiss all around. Loved our server, but even she apologized for abandoning us for a bit. The place was slammed!

Though not a Thai restaurant, their Tom Yum noodle soup is just the best. They let you choose the type of noodle you want which is really nice if you want to customize and have a preference for noodles. Other favorites I recommend from the menu are the fried oysters and the green tea smoothie. Wish I could recommend more since it's such a big menu but I keep sticking to the same things so I can't personally speak to them. I started with chicken wings assuming they'd be actual chicken wings in line with say, Chinese restaurants. Instead, I got the cheap breaded, seemingly frozen, garbage sold at a dime a dozen pizza/sub places. They are low quality nonsense...and $11. Hilarious. I also got the rib eye beef and enoki ramen noodles. Listen, there is roughly 5lbs of it. 3 adults can share it. But Quincy has endless options for authentic Asian food and that's what we want--quality over quantity, Asian food with fresh, quality ingredients. See the pictures. It is a mound of overcooked mush with extremely/borderline inedible fatty meat and equally mushy enoki mushrooms hidden here and there. When I know for a fact that I could cook a stir fry ramen that is ten times better than what I just paid $20 for, there is zero reason to return to your restaurant, and I won't.

Both the noodle soup and regular "dry" noodles had a great taste that doesn't go into the "too much going on" territory. I had 3 dishes here but will definitely go back to try others. Water is self-serve from a container near the register. Service: is ok. You'll get served eventually. I'm definitely here more for the food than service. It's a little confusing because the menu took a bit to come out to the table, so I didn't know if there was some other process. There's a QR code on the table but it looked more like delivery and was pretty much all in Chinese (don't know which one). Ambiance: chill spot. It's small, nothing fancy at all, but still clean. It's not winning awards but it's not affecting my enjoyment. Parking: side streets that look residential have plenty of spots within a short walk. Other: for the noodle soup, they have those really flimsy plastic spoons that bend easy. I'd honestly bring my own soup spoon next time. That wasn't very cool.

The noodles themselves are perfectly executed and have that amazing bite to them, but unfortunately, the sauce left a little to be desired. Even ordering them with just a "little spice," the flavor profile relies heavily on pure capsaicin heat rather than a deeply seasoned, complex sauce. The popcorn chicken was delicious though. It arrived fresh, piping hot, incredibly crispy, and perfectly seasoned--plus, it provided a much-needed palate cleanser to cool down from the noodle heat! The shop itself is clean and typical of a quick, no-frills, grab-and-go Asian restaurant. While the staff has limited English, they are incredibly sweet, patient, and welcoming. If I were having an intense craving for wide noodles I'd pop back in, but otherwise, there are a few better, more flavorful options in the area for Chinese-style noodles.
