This location seriously sucks. I've only been in this location 10 times over a year and 8 of those 10 times they were out of the same product over and over. Hello the name of the business is Panera Bread and your out of the fucking bread to make my sandwich, SERIOUSLY?!?! This has happened 8 times already obviously you need to make more bread, don't need to be a rocket scientists to figure that out. Panera is a staple chain we've all come to settle for. I remember the days of Panera being really really good. Now the chicken always seems funky, whether on a salad, or in a sandwich. A few days ago I stopped in to pick up breakfast and lunch for later on. I tried to order my usual cinnamon crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese. I was informed the hazelnut cream cheese had been discontinued and they no longer carried it. I took a glance at the posted menu and sure enough it still said hazelnut. No big deal, these things happen. I moved on to ordering lunch. I ask for a bowl of the cream of chicken and wild rice. I was so excited because this soup seems to never be available. I then ordered a large Plum Ginger Hibiscus Tea. I was handed my cup and directed to the end of restaurant to collect my tea. I paid and then waited for my order to be ready. As I went to get my tea, all of the dispensers were empty. When I asked if they would be refilled, I was simply told no. I was then summoned to the counter and informed they didn't have the soup I ordered and to pick a different one. What annoyed me was that I had already paid and at no point was I informed there would be no tea and no soup. It was going to be too much of a hassle to get a refund so I let it go. To recap, they didn't have my cream cheese, they didn't have my soup, and they didn't have my tea, yet I was allowed to complete my order and pay for these non existent items. read more

The worst Panera I've been to. Three cashiers looking at their register and no one ask to take my order. Tables are always dirty.cashiers forget items in our order, they run out of items such as soufflés before breakfast is over and they take forever to make your order when the place is almost empty! Unfortunately there are no other Panera in my area so I'm stuck coming to this one. read more

Mixed about this establishment. Service is usually good and the taste of the food is OK. BUT, for the price of the items it should be much much better. The last time we ate there the portions seemed even smaller then previous stops. We've taken Panera out of our sandwich lunch choice. read more

We ordered breakfast online using the rapid pick up option. This service is great if they have all of the items you ordered and put them on the bookshelf for you to pick up. Today they didn't have my order out on the shelf. I was 30 minutes late in picking it up, but I've been late every time and it was always sitting there. When I got there the line was 12 people deep. I got in line while I verified if the order was placed correctly. It turned out they had my order sitting on the back counter, but never put it out. I spoke with a manager who offered me a free pastry or to refund one item (which I declined). The manager asked me what I wanted. I wanted them to put my rapid order pick up on the bookshelf so I can get my order and get out of there without waiting. This is the 6th or 7th time we have used the Rapid Order Pick Up. This is the first time my order was not ready and waiting. Twice I've had a note on my receipt saying to see the manager because they were out of something. read more

This is not necessarily about this Panera, but Panera in general. I Have never loved Panera but an associate suggested we meet here, and despite my hesitancy, we decided to meet here. I haven't been in a few years, so things may be different than the many times I have been disappointed in the past. The Atmosphere is nice. Restaurant is clean. I have always had trouble finding something that suits my taste at Panera but when I heard they had chicken salad I was hopeful. The cashier was friendly, but when they ring your order it asks if you want to tip. Why? They don't serve you or pick up after you. What service am I tipping? I paid $12 for a half sandwich, side salad, an apple and a drink. The sandwich had VERY little chicken and lots of lettuce. The apple was not even sliced. The food tasted okay, but I just don't get the pricing for value. I will continue to resist patronizing Panera. read more

I am a huge fan of Panera, but quite frankly, this one sucks. I ordered a full sized salad with extra chicken (and yes, I checked my receipt and I paid for the extra chicken) and there was... meh... perhaps 2 full ounces of meat on my salad. Seriously. AND they filled up the salad bowl only a quarter of the way full. I looked at what everyone else was ordering and it looks like they try to gipp every order that they serve. All of the smoothies that were served were only 3/4 full and all of the sandwiches appeared to be about 99.9% bread. I honestly think that Panera's corporate office should do a random check of this business because the food served at this location is not representative of any other Panera Bread's that I've been to in the past 10 years. Seriously, save your money. You'll get more meat on a sandwich from the subway beside the publix across the street and could find friendlier service at a gas station. read more

This location has terrible customer service. Manager is not professional. Made an order online for rapid pick up. Got there to find out the order has not been filled. It was ordered online over an hour ago (larger order $100). It took them 45 minutes to fill the order. Never offered anything other than a sorry. Got back to office to find out all changes like no tomatoes or changes to bread not done. Also, paid for all bowls of soup and got cups. I have called the franchise management team who has just passed me from person to person with a sorry. This is not customer service. Do not use this store for any kind of office meeting. They are not capable of filling orders correct or providing customer service. My new office slogan as we work in Customer Service is "Don't be Panera Bread". read more

This Panera has outdoor seating which is great so you can bring your dog! I had a great experience with catering when I ordered for a lunch party. I paid over $100 but everything was ready when I picked it up. Will highly recommend the catering. read more

I usually go to Panera to study. The music is so loud, as if you are in your car not wanting to hear yourself sing. I asked a worker to turn it down a bit and she did so. About 10 minutes later the music was turned up again. Now customers who are eating are trying to talk over the music. The lady next to me asked them to turn it down and the worker agreed. She turned it down a notch, leaving the music still too loud. I had to leave since I couldn't get any work done. read more

I've been to Panera many times in my life, but lately I've been disappointed. The Riverview location is great; don't get me wrong. I always order a cup of soup and my husband always gets some type of sandwich. Is it me, or in the last year have they "shrunk" their sizes? The soup cup seems a little smaller than it used to be, but yet I seem to be paying more money! Today I ordered the black bean soup. Not only was the cup tiny, but I swear there were about 10 beans in the whole thing! I was basically slurping liquid. My husband's sandwich seemed to have less meat in it too! What the heck Panera? DOWNSIZING??? Not cool! All of this (and two drinks) came to 16 dollars. Sorry Panera....if I'm going to spend 16 dollars, I'm going somewhere where a cup of soup actually satisfies me--not a "kiddie snack"! Like I said- the Riverview location is nice...they have nice outdoor seating and the ambiance is nice, but unfortunately I think corporate is ruining the concept. We visited on March 3, 2014 for a late lunch. I ordered salad and sandwich. The fork that I received with the salad had a sharp metal protrusion, which I did not notice. After one bite, my mouth was bleeding profusely. The situation was handled poorly. No offer to refund the price of my meal. I was sent to Express Care for treatment by Panera, then I later received a medical bill - which they finally resolved. I wrote a letter to corporate - got no response. I will not be visiting Panera's again, and I recommend that you closely examine your silverware if you do. read more

Solid food. We always enjoy the soups/salads and it's our go to place for a quick breakfast. Unfortunately their specialty coffees have never been good. Always taste 'off'. Not sure how they could improve it but after drinking coffee in many many places, and serving as a barista for a couple years, I can honestly say stick with the regular joe here. read more

This place is awful! Everytime I have been there the service has been HORRIBLE! The first time I went, I ordered a sandwich no mayo. I paid and the cashier handed me a cup for a drink I told her I did not order a drink and she says yes you did. I also had mayo on my sandwich after I told her NO MAYO! Tonight we went back (why I don't know) and we ordered it to go. We got home to half of the order missing. Paid $30.00 for half of our order. We couldn't go back and get it right because the place was closed. Get it right Panera! I will NEVER, EVER go back there. I could walk to the panera restaurant on Big Bend Rd. from my house. However, from now on I will drive to the Panera in Brandon 30 minutes away. They seem more professional and they never screw up my order. read more
