The employees at this location always present the best attitude, are always willing to help and are always wanting to make it right for the guests. Even listening to how the employees interact with each other and helping each other in any ways, it is a very comfortable environment. I have come to this restaurant 4 times and left without food 4 times. Sadly unless you are a meat eater, they no longer carry protein other than cheese. The menu online says they have shrimp, but when you ask for it they say the web is wrong. The people I come with leave as well. I used to go to Panera's often when I lived in Virginia, but I can't here in California. How sad. I came back one more time because I got an add from them advertising their new healthy wraps. The old GM Joe was awesome and was a wonderful ambassador for Panera in the community. I never had any issues while he was there. He left, and a new person named Jan is running the show now. She needs to be taught how to treat customers and not have attitude while communicating. I will never go back to this location and will tell everyone I know about the horrible customer service provided by their new GM. It was late at night and we were craving some panera! We were able to make it on time but we had called prior to our arrival to see if they had any bagels. Lady was super friendly and even provided more info than we really wanted lol. The only reason why they are receiving two stars is because the employees were friendly and the orange scone was amazing. However, I ordered a bacon breakfast sandwich and literally got a few broken, ripped-up strip of bacon. I didn't even get one whole strip of bacon, it was like half of a strip. I've ordered 3 separate times for our company morning meetings and something always seems to go wrong. The first time they were out of the coffee carriers for the bulk coffee so they comped me orange juice. I figured it happens and the lady was really nice, she offered to pour coffee into the individual cups for me to take but that was too much work for our huge meeting. The second time I went everything seemed fine, until I asked to add orange juice to the order, it literally took 10 minutes to charge me for their "catering" orange juice. Today was the third and probably last time. I went to pick up the order at 6:30am and was told the hazelnut cream cheese I ordered had expired yesterday :( I've always placed my order at least a day ahead, you would think once they receive the orders they'd do an inventory check to make sure they have everything! read more

I frequent this planets bread as I discovered they have a drive thru! What a great option for healthy food on the go. I went in the other day and had a wonderful experience. I got. Breakfast sandwich the asiago cheese egg and bacon. It was really good. The manager was so friendly and helpful. The iced tea is delicious- white tea with no sugar. I also get their Napa salad sandwich on sourdough- very tasty. However I found out they don't wash their apples before giving them to you as a side (at least that's what a staff member told me) which is why I gave four stars. Went through the drive-through after long drive back from Central Valley. Mom and I were starving, and she was just too tired to cook for our little one. Tried ordering some soup for the baby - "We're out of that today." Tried another item - "We're out of that today" tried to order a smoothie "Our blender is broken." Ok, I can understand they ran out of something, that maybe some equipment was broken, but it wasn't just that. The girl on the speaker was simply rude. The tone, the manner in which she responded, it wasn't "I'm sorry but ...." No, the response was sharp and hostile. Gave up at that point and drove away. Do not go to this location. Lovely classic meals with a wide variety of soups and sandwiches that are always excellent. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, it is clean, well lit, and the location is extremely convenient. The dine in services are fantastic, my only complaint is the quick pickup service never gets the orders right. It usually turns out okay, since even when the order is wrong, it is still great food! I absolutely love their bakery--I buy all my bread there now, and stop by at least 1-2 times a week. Great place! read more

I missed breakfast by twenty minutes today, which was just another thing that went wrong for me that week. The cashier saw my frustration and discounted my bagel, and made her best effort to make things right. Additionally one of the other servers gave me a genuine smile as they passed by, which was really welcoming. every time I come here I wonder why I did. this location is always inconsistent. I order a wild berry smoothie once and it came out gray. I'd had it before and it was purple. Tasted awful, I politely asked if maybe they left out the flavor and they said no.... Their salads are a joke. Always overpriced too and what's up with their tax? I love this Panera!!!! Everyone is so nice and friendly, and if they mess up your order at all they will replace it quickly. I am especially grateful for a worker there I think her name was Susan or Susie I'm not sure. I don't know why this panera is so terrible. The San Rafael one is great, the Santa Rosa one is pretty good......this one sucks. I have been disappointed EVERY time. Their soups are watery. The food inconsistent. The staff a bit off, as if they don't understand their own product. They have to keep turning and looking at the menu behind them when I order. The location is great for me, but I have to stop going there. The wife just picked up some food for her and the kids and she ended up throwing hers out after one bite. So I rarely write reviews on here, but this specific location has lost a very loyal customer to this chain. I went to this location on 3 different occasions and every time they have disappointed me. The first was in the morning and I ordered a cappuccino. I'm received my drink through the drive-thru and I go on my way to work. I take a sip and find out that the drink is literally "STEAMED MILK", no espresso!! Are you kidding me. There are 2 ingredients in a cappuccino. Another thing was that the cashier didn't ask me for my panera rewards number. Shoud be a standard don't you think. The second time I ordered a soba noodle bowl and again the cashier didn't ask my for my panera rewards and my order was made wrong. Nothing complicated. I ordered edamame instead of chicken and they messed that up. The third time was this morning at the drive thru again wanting to give this location a third go around. I'm at the drive-thru speaker waiting for someone to talk to me. Nothing. There used to be a sign telling customers to just say hi since their sensor wasn't working a few weeks before that. Thinking the sign must of blown away I said hi pretty loud 3 times. Silence. I finally had enough with this location and left. read more

This was probably the most unprofessional staff and place I have ever walked into. I went into my local Panera Bread to get a simple group soup. I had the cashier Alexis super confused about what was on the menu and was more interested in talking to someone next to her than actually what is on the menu. Yes, I know and understand that restaurants updates their menu, with new items to make guest happy. I did once work in the food industry and I understand. But the sizes rarely change. Once I taught her what was on the menus above her head, I headed to wait for my order. The guys in the back each had their own personal headset in and did not want to engage with the guest. The supervisor was right there ignoring how they were all talking about inappropriate things and their own exciting fun plans for the weekend. I waited about 15 minutes before they looked at me and asked what I ordered. I will never go back to this Panera Bread in Rohnert Park, because clearly they do not care about someones business nor what they are selling. Clean up the Management and the employees. read more

Simply said- Worst experience ever!!! The so-called swing manager, Robin, mugged me and my family throughout our whole stay there. This was our first and last time visiting this location. The woman behind the counter was very friendly but somehow got our order wrong. My son was very much looking forward to the chicken and avocado melt, but when it arrived there was no chicken on it. I traded him my turkey sandwich for his non-chicken sandwich and both were actually delicious. We were offered 99 cent pastries with our order but only one appeared to be 99 cents.
