Trying to review Panera is proving to be rather difficult. I just keep staring at "Meh. I've experienced better." and feel as if that is the perfect commentary. Their selection is wide, but overpriced. If you're going in the morning then you better have a paper to read or some emails to catch up on while you wait in line. I only ever find myself here when propositioned by others looking for a breakfast snack. The fresh toasted bagels are good, but that's really all I keep my Panera experience to, their namesake, bread. Anything you want to get at Panera you can find at another establishment that does it better. With that being said it's not horrible, just "Meh." read more

My buddy needed some place with wi-fi capabilities, this place came up in our discussions. So we went. We've been here several other times, and this time was no different from the multitudes of other visits. The food is just as tasty and delicious as it was the last times. This time I got the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad for 9.50something. Both items had bacon. Nothing makes a salad more tasty than adding bacon. Mmmmmm...baaaacon....mmmmmmmm. I really resisted going to Panera Bread for the longest time because I thought that it was "just another sandwich and soup place". So, when I finally decided to walk in and give it a try, I was disappointed. I wanted the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich with a side of an apple. Well, I was told that they were out of the spread for the sandwich that day and if I wanted anything else. NO! I don't want anything else...I walked out. Fast forward to a few months later and listening to random people talking about how much they love Panera, I gave it a go. I ordered the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich again (yes, they had all the ingredients) and WOW I really really really enjoyed my sandwich. So I've been back a couple of times to this location and frequent another location. I will always get the same thing every single time, how boring, I know... but why mess with perfection? I have bought their baked baguettes to have with dinners at home and they're so good. This place is pretty good with the soup and sandwich I got. The place is pretty expensive either that or I am ghetto. I am a big boy and need more food. I can see maybe a full sandwich and soup or salad for 11 dollars that would be nice. I love the sandwiches though and first time with the soup , but the tomato soup was superb. I haven't been to a Panera in probably a year. Unfortunately today I had a less than stellar experience and I kind of remembered why it's not on my list of frequent eateries. We arrived a few minutes before 11:00am and hoped to order breakfast items. We were told that breakfast ends at 10:30, even though printed materials and order board say 11:00 am on the weekend. (I understand that at some point they have to make the switch from breakfast to lunch but it seems they should err on the "few minutes after said switch time" rather that stopping service a few minutes prior.) Anyway we ended up ordering toasted bagels which were barely warmed, I had a caffe latte, that was not hot and had whipped cream on it. They kindly made another without the whipped cream but it still wasn't very hot. When I opened up Panera on Yelp I realized it wasn't "just me" as they only have a 2.5 Star ranking. read more

The 2.5 star rating for Panera is no surprise, but I came here only because I needed to buy soup for my sick boyfriend. I came in on a Friday night after I made an order over the phone ans picked up my bag of soup. I looked inside and see a thick piece of BLACK HSIR sitting right on top of the BREAD, It was mortifying!!! The manager with glasses and her hair in a bun looked aggravated and didn't say one word to me but instead proceeded to walk about with the bag without saying a word to me. I'm just standing confused watching her and a few employees discuss the situation. She comes back, doesn't apologize or offer to refund me at all. They just threw the roll in the bag not covered (this is w/COVID) I had called and specifically asked for some things on the side, was told by an employee that she would make sure it was done, but it wasn't. Ordered two Green Goddess Salads...the lettuce was frozen! I wanted lemons instead of dressing, they no longer have any lemons in the restaurant (not by the beverages or even upon request). Was just trying to enjoy a nice evening ordering tea, coffee and pastries-While waiting to get our Pastries this guy standing In line comes up to my boyfriend and starts causing problems. Harassing my bf asking how he got his order first. At first we thought he was being racist (maybe he was), but was told by an employee that he does this to every customer daily. If this is a daily issue why isn't management doing something about it. Management should really refuse service and banned him from even entering the store. Would love to give five stars but never fails that there is almost always something wrong with every order I get. Today my cappachino was cold and was served in a regular cup rather than the big cup I used to get. No biggy, but this store need sto pay attention to detail. Last time I got chips instead of an apple and they forgot to make my cappachino. The time before that they put my order in a to go bag, when I asked to eat it there. The store hours online and on the front of store say opens at 10am but they didnt open until 11am. There were a group of people waiting in line for it to open at 10. The workers there clearly saw us waiting and let us wait there for 15min before they let us know they dont open until another hour. I'm watching them walk over to people's tables dropping off their orders. When mine was ready about 12 min later they were yelling at me from the counter across the room to go get it myself. I've been going here for 4 years usually about once a week at least in the past year the service and quality has been declining. However, last night was the last time I will ever order from Panera again. Their rapid pickup works only half the time and last night luckily it was working. I ordered a BOWL of tomato soup, which usually comes with a piece of bread and croutons. When I picked up my bag from the rapid pickup I thought the bag felt light. Once I got home and opened the bag, there was only soup and the chips. However, the soup container didn't even have half a cup of soup. Have been here before but at that time was not really impressed but my daughter wanted some shakes so came in here to do so. I ordered the oat meal and what I got was a clump of oats. Decided to eat in but what I found is I have to stand to get milk twice. Then the shake we ordered I had to get up for b/c it's been awhile. There was no instructions that I have to get it b/c we ordered in. Found out it was still in the blender. They gave it to me but it was already melted. They took it back but it was I the same state. Horrible customer service my 1st visit ever and my worst experience, I place my order online, i drove 32 miles to pick up my order and I show up and I ask if I can get my order and they couldn't find it and 10min later the cashier tells ".
