I did a catering order worth about $300 and will never cater from them again. I ordered the cold sandwiches, which when you order from places for work will lay out the half sandwiches in a way that you can see what's inside. This Panera cut the sandwiches in half but wrapped a whole sandwich in paper so people were forced to take a whole sandwich. Who wants to eat a sandwich that is not individually wrapped? I also ordered coffee and specified on the order form to include cups, sugar, milk, stirrers etc. but they didn't provide any of that. Terrible experience. On a busy Friday afternoon, seriously understaffed, leaving the counter person over overwhelmed. People in front of me and people in back of me waiting to place their order. I know what I want to have because I've eaten it before so I get ready to place my order when it's my turn.I've decided to go along with chicken noodle soup and a half of a sandwich. I noticed the prices have gone up considerably, but I didn't realize the quality had gone down considerably as well. The count of person who was a female was as pleasant as she could be trying to work as swiftly as she could, as the line was growing behind me. Few of the people behind me were huffing and puffing about the weight, but I guess that's the nature of impatience in some people. But the young lady was able to prepare my order. I received my order to go because I was going to take it home to enjoy my lunch. I was shocked when I did bring it home and I open the container. It was the smallest amount of soup. It wasn't even filled to the top of the container. It was 3/4 of the way. Now when you compare the cup to the bowl that is served in person when you're dining inside the restaurant, there is a drastic difference and there's no price change. They charge you the same amount of money. It was merely like a little dipper of soup very disappointing. They have a sandwich. It's a half of a Caprese sandwich. It was one piece of romaine lettuce, one piece of mozzarella cheese that was about the size of half of my pinky and one tiny sliver of a tomato that you had to lift it up to make sure it was a tomato and not a bell pepper. And a little bit of dressing on top. That's it! What is going on with the portions and who made this sandwich and who thought that was acceptable. That bowl of soup was $8.95. I ordered two of them. And 2/2 sandwiches.. a little over $30. My comparison at best would be if I opened up a can of Progresso chicken noodle soup. It tasted exactly like that. There was no difference. It was extremely salty and the sandwich was a huge chunk of bread with a few sliver of vegetable inside. I would've done better at a deli where they would've piled food inside the sandwich and made it look like I was actually eating something for lunch and not searching for something for lunch inside the bread ha ha ha. I don't know if it's part of the economy. There's no shortage of food anywhere . So I believe in this case Panera bread it's better to dine inside. You get a bigger portion with more food than you would take out. I used to love Panera. Great soup , sandwiches etc. I just tried the new spicy chicken. I didn't like the roll. These little round crunchy things fell out of the sandwich. At first I didn't know where it came from but saw there were more of them inside I guess for the crunch. It's very cheap. Plus the sandwich isn't spicy at all. Stay away from this Panera I've always had issues with them. They're quality control for food is really bad and there's always issues with the fruit and apples. Panera has really gone downhill over the years. I always get this sandwich and didn't even assemble it right. The turkey on it is literally turkey that you could buy in the supermarket deli area and they just slap it together no care at all when preparing your food, the dressings that I got for my salad not even full so pretty much got half a serving of dressing. They also took a Gouda off the menu if you're looking for a quick lunch salad and sandwich I'd probably go somewhere else because the quality is really bad here. read more

The first time all the salads were completely wilted and inedible. So many mistakes & missing items. Our assistant had to go back both times. Very disappointing. Ordered online delivery for lunch with some coworkers - 4 orders in all. Order was messed up. Most was right, but some things were missed, including 2 drinks and some of the pick 2 items were wrong. I ordered the Asian salad and it came with Italian dressing instead of whatever dressing it was supposed to come with. (I had same exact salad from another Panera location and it had been delicious which is why I ordered it!) I tried to call the store to have my bill adjusted for the missing items and the phone would just ring and ring and then hang up. Panera website does not make it too easy to reach customer service on their site either. It didn't help that there was a $7 convenience fee on the order after they claimed 'free delivery'. Panera'a are standard. I like the food. Good for lunch when you need to get some work done. Good wifi. I like their baked goods. They have good coffee. I particularly like to get a large cup, one equal, 3/4 hazelnut and 1/4 light roast. It's a smooth combo for me. For this Panera I wish they would have waiter/waitress service.
