(http://mypanera.panerabread.com/articlestips/article/access-into-paneras-hidden-menu/) Served in a bowl two times larger than the food in it; the tomatoes looked a day old, thin, and pale; the steak sliced thin and uneven (as it would be for a sandwich), and the avocado looked like it was sliced with a fork. The eggs were fine. I'm not naïve enough to expect my food to look as advertised but something a lot closer than what I was served. Another customer standing at the pick up counter asked me if that is what it's supposed to look like! How embarrassing! Ordinarily, I would visit with a manager so she/he could make it right but the whole thing disgusted me. Update: The company replied to an email I sent them. whomever the delivery for me ( sent from out of state to a friends home that is dealing with a death in the family in Auburn, NY ) is an AWSOME employee! she had to call me several times for additional address questions ( not an extension of a road) and then had to call me back when no one was home as to what to do, I didn't get her name although she told me several times. she should be promoted or at least receive employee of the month parking spot ! because of this mystery delivery driver I am now a lifelong fan of Panera and will ALWAYS make Panera my first choice for any food delivery needs. businesses today need more young people like my delivery person who went out of her way to make sure she got it right! Love Panera bread, was just in here grabbing some bagels for everyone at work. I've always loved the one here in south tampa. It's trendy, popular and they're always packed,but always efficient at getting you in and out no matter how many people are in there. They have great patio seating at this location, so on a beautiful day it's awesome sitting out here and enjoying the area you live in. I love grabbing the bagels, they give you a dozen, I usually grab the variety pack. They give u 2 types of cream cheese all for under 15. My favorite sandwich is the chipotle chicken, so good. My girlfriends favorite is the Mediterranean veggie duo with broccoli cheddar soup. Their bakery is so delicious and everything is always fresh. Cookies, cinnamon rolls, pecan buns, you can't go wrong! Staff is always friendly, helpful, and smiley! I have even had someone grab my empty plates off my table when I was done eating. The employees who take my order are friendly and professional. The food is usually made correctly, although it's expensive for the portion size. The environment is a pretty good one in which to work. However, some of the other staff need to improve. An employee named Armando with a trainer hat on hopped in front of me in the Panera line today, ordered his coffee from the employee at the register (no "please" or "thank you," just a "I'll take...", which I found rude to the employee), and then walked away. He then was sure to grab whatever he needed in front of me at the coffee bar as well, again without saying a "pardon me," or any other kind of basic courteous phrase like that when you are reaching past someone and making that person wait. The staff in the back are kind of loud, and one guy seems to whistle annoyingly loud to get the attention of the other employees. I understand that you want to have fun while working, but Panera has an open kitchen format, and employees need to be aware of that. Seeing how their trainer acts, however, it's amazing these employees are as courteous as they are. Keep up the good work you employees manning the cash register, and the majority of other employees who are good. Work on dialing down the obnoxiousness and improving customer service to the other employees. read more

It was difficult to decide whether to give 3 or 4 stars. Keep in mind, for a chain, 4 stars really is 5 stars because chains usually do not deserve the 5th because it is impossible for them to be unique enough to earn it. I am sure there are some exceptions to this rule, but I digress. This Panera is in the heart of South Tampa on the corner of Swann and Howard. It is in a newer building and generally very clean inside and out. The problem is that I am here so often that problems are sure to come about. For example, I love the Asiago Steak Sandwich. They always do a great job with it and load it up with lots of juicy steak. However, on my most recent visit, they were out of the right kind of break. Luckily I thought to use an Asiago Bagel and all worked out just fine, but I would have been more impressed if the staff thought it up themselves and proposed it, instead they asked if they could put it on regular bread. All complaints aside, this location has very friendly staff and they are always very quick to get the food prepared and served. I would definately recommend this location to anyone who loves Panera Bread. read more

I was in the midst of a busy morning, not having had a chance to eat before I I began my day. I noticed this Panera Bread in my path and decided to park and grab something to go. There is ample parking here which is a plus especially for this area of town. The young lady at the counter didn't seem too excited to be there, she was cordial and took my order, nothing more, nothing less. I didn't eat inside, however I noticed that the restaurant seemed relatively clean, nicely organized, and it was it generally Pleasant environment. I waited for my food, and when it was completed it was placed at the pick up area on a plate. I had requested my food to go, so I'm not sure if this was the doing of the young lady who took the order, or the people who made it. Either way no big deal, I grabbed a couple napkins put my sandwich in them and headed out. My bagel/egg sandwich was cook to order, and was very tasty. The prices are reasonable here, the food is good, the service is adequate, and the restaurant itself is in good shape. If you are looking for something for breakfast, or maybe lunch, this is a solid place to go. read more

This one's okay. Looks like they recently remodeled it, so it's cleaner. Paneras were getting a little grungy lately, so I stopped going. Their coffee is better than the Starbucks up the street, imho. They have comfortable chairs. Their wifi is weak, at best. But at least you can sign on if you're hanging out for awhile. I noticed their pastry prices have gone up. Not really worth it, and not many choices that don't have a ridiculous amount of calories. I haven't eaten their actual food in a long time. It's geared toward women on diets, but the calorie counts are quite high. I find Paneras useful to loiter in while coffee drinking and surfing online. read more

5 stars for management. It's so refreshing when you go into a restaurant and you see the managers helping out the employees. That is what I have seen both times I have been here recently. I live near by and frequent this Panera often. I must say the service just keeps getting better and better. I even spoke with the manager (I think her name is Shana or Sheana) or something. I had to compliment her on how well she handled such a busy day. The employees were working their butts off and she was too. Too often I see service suffer because of a busy restaurant and the manager always looks like they are doing nothing. So Cuddos to you Panera management. Mmmm..,comfort food and great place to work from your laptop. The menu board includes the calories next to the food item. A great way to not over indulge if you are watching calories. Panera's never disappoints! I usually eat here for lunch. The salad's are tasty, fresh and have a lot of flavor. During the winter months, I like to order their soup. Panera's usually has about 5 selections to choose from and has a great tomato soup that is creamy and topped with asiago cheese flavored croutons. It tastes great with the kid's grilled bacon and cheese sandwich. Panera's offers a 99 cent bakery special with lunch (that's hard to pass up). Their bakery items are delicious and baked fresh daily and hourly. I love their orange frosted scone or sugar cookie. They offer 4 different kinds of hot coffees. My favorite is the Hazelnut flavored coffee. A great little restaurant to get caught up on work and meet with friends. They offer wi-fi and have it limited during lunch time. read more

I've learned that there are few things that girls like more than Panera...maaaybeTarget. Usually these two are located in close proximity. This is not the case for this SoHo (South Howard) Panera. It's located on Howard so it's within walking distance to tons of things. For whatever reason the temp inside this store seems to be hotter than any I've been in. Maybe it was just by chance a hot day in there...but it was so hot, I decided to eat outdoors. Their smoothies were great and the "High Volume" straw is a nice touch. So I ordered my delivery for 1:00-1:15. At 1:45 I call the store to state that my delivery never made it. The area manager told me that the driver would get in contact with me . I was told that my meal was left on the 4th floor which is the parking garage. When I question that the driver stated that she left it with the front office. Our building only has parking on the fourth floor there are no offices. When the driver called me, I asked her what address she was at and she told me. She was at the wrong address. The area manager never suggested remaking my food, or a refund nor did she seem concerned that it was left with someone else. Stop by here for breakfast. Ordered a souffle, a bagel, & a breakfast croissant sandwich. Was handed a buzzer. About 10 minutes later I heard my name being called but the buzzer was not going off. Went to the counter where the food comes out only to see the sandwich by itself. No one said my other two items came at the counter where we ordered. I love u can swipe grab a cup and go. Some times wifi is hard to get on. The coffee isn't very good if often seems stale. The staff are over trained and have so much busy work to do they don't have time to actually think about or pay attention to clients in an over all way. On 11/15/22 at 8:16 am I placed a small order (1 item) for delivery. Delivery was expected at 8:46, give or take. At 9:05 am, I still haven't received the order and the expected delivery time went up. I contacted the store thinking that I can just pick the order up as I was now running late from work. The manager on duty was very unpleasant and didn't offer any real solutions. Just stated that I'd receive the order within minutes. Then I kept on checking the delivery time and it just kept on going up. I called the store back and not only that they put me on hold for 7 minutes (probably hoping that I'd hang up), when the manager got on once again, she was rude and hung op on me. I've been patient with this store as it is the closest to me but this store has the absolute worst management out of all the stores I've ever dealt with. They have staffing issues and the exiting staff has zero costumer service and are just rude. Don't spend your money there. read more

Panera Bread never disappoints. It's consistent with the quality and service which is one of the many reasons I keep coming back. This location is one of Panera's best. Right in the heart of South Tampa, it can be a challenge to get in and out but they're quick to recognize and get you in and out. The set-up inside is perfect for those who need to set-up and study/work for a little bit too. Close to a UPS store and Walgreens too, just in case you need to run small errands as I often do. read more

Everything from rolling her eyes, slapping down our receipt ticket to shooting off rude and unnecessary comments. Is it too much to ask for at the minimum, professional behavior? Love Panera...enough said! Seriously, this place is really good. Attentive employees-always smiling, great food- never had a problem, they are always cleaning the tables-which is def a good thing! Plenty of seating, inside and out! I only have 2 complaints: 1. The parking lot= be prepared to do a few laps to find one that isn't assigned to a company. It took me 3 laps around the block , a turn signal and hand wave indicating that I was waiting for THAT spot and 1 shout out claiming "IT'S MINE"! It's not a good thing to come inbetween me and Panera, especially when I'm hungry!!! 2. They only have 2 stalls in the ladies bathroom, (not sure about the men's room)but the one I used was soooooo tiny, it was probably meant to be a linen closet! I haven't ever had a complaint here, it can be touch and go with attitude at times from the employees (not all of them) but nothing that I had to grab a manager for. Food is always tasty and fresh when I receive it. The place seems to be clean and neat & in a popular location. Once you find a parking spot your good but it can be challenging most of time.
