You can never go wrong with Panera. I got the you pick two, soup and half a sandwich. I am a member of the rewards group and got offered a bagel on the house so I got my favorite bagel, cinnamon crunch! I ordered everything to go and got home to no french baguette for my soup which you can't have soup from Panera with no french baguette, okay not too big a deal but when I went to go eat my bagel, they left out my cream cheese that I payed 65 cents for. Come on guys get it together. I work for the food industry myself check the ticket and the bag. Make sure you pack everything. The small things are important too! Food was good as usual but... The restaurant was a disgusting mess. Available tables all dirty, piles of trash heaping out of the trash cans, out of napkins so I couldn't even wipe one myself, out of tea, now keeping butter behind the counter so you have to ask for it. This REALLY bugged me... they are all running around so busy it's hard to get their attention, they should ask if you want butter in the first place, so you don't have to wait. I mean, they give a slice of baguette as a side for goodness sakes. I know they try hard, but I have been to other Paneras that are kept WAY cleaner. My girlfriend & I went this morning for breakfast. Mind you, this is during the Covid-19 situation. It's worth mentioning that before this incident this specific location gets our order incorrect more often than they get it right. They would get a two or three stars at best. We placed our orders & waited unusually long for the only two people there. Maybe 15 minutes or more. When our food finally arrived it was the wrong order. My girlfriend is a vegetarian & there was bacon on her breakfast sandwich. It wasn't the biggest deal, & we told the very nice lady serving us that we'd like them to be remade, but would happily keep these sandwiches that the server confirmed would simply be discarded. Well no. Apparently the manager decided that we could not keep the food they themselves would throw away. I find this ridiculous. They would rather throw away food than have someone eat it when they are the ones that made a mistake. If for no other reason than to compensate customers they wronged. They're own employee completely disagreed with the situation & said she would have given us the food if she could. The manager himself didn't even show his face. Poor customer service is the service that does not correct a mistake made. Least of all a manager not even showing their face & deciding they'd rather waste food than let people eat it. read more

Think of Panera Bread as a fancy subway with the top of the line sandwhiches. This place is the best for lunch and there's really not a lot of people. The food is delivered quickly and the mac and cheese is beast. The only thing that I don't like is that there's only 4 or 5 sandwhiches that can be toasted and you can't really customize them either. Anyway, if you look to lose weight (try not to look at the sweets) with great tasting food then head on over to Panera Bread where there's free wifi and 99 cent bakery items. read more

Terrible experience. 6 pm Saturday night should have been busy, but it wasnt. Not a good sign. Restaurant was so cold, we sat outside. Tables were dirty. Chairs had bird poop that had been there awhile. Broken rattan on one scratched my daughter's leg. Server bringing trays of food out didn't know the number of the orders he was delivering so went table to table asking if people had what he was carrying. VERY disappointing. I even went back in to give feedback to the manager. His response? "I'll meet with the other managers so we can take care of it." Really?? I have been here many times for lunch and I order pretty much the same thing. I constantly hear and see people walk out because the line is so long and not enough cashiers to help out at lunch time. This Panera bread is in a very busy part of a business area. I agree with much of the poor reviews for this location. I love their food but this one needs help from their headquarters. I ordered a sandwich that had a piece of cheese that was a sixth of the sandwich and this consistently happens. I don't understand. This location is very busy and needs to quit cheating the people for what we pay for. I went to here for lunch yesterday and got the poorest customer service I have ever gotten here. Mathew was my rude cashier with a sarcastic attitude. I mentioned to him that I would appreciate it if my mozzarella cheese sandwich could have enough cheese to cover the one side of the sandwich. He said, "they are all prepared in the morning and I would have to be charged extra". I said, I just would like more than a one inch by one inch piece of cheese on my mozzarella sandwich. I Will probably never return to this location. Brownie I got was stale, the side of bread was so hard it cut the roof of my mouth. My sister and I both got side salads (BBQ chicken one and asain chicken one) the salad dressing on both tasted like artificial sweetener and were VERY sweet. The vegi pesto soup was cold when I got it and you couldn't even taste the pesto. The customer service was terrible and even the manager was rude when i asked her for a lid for my drink. I've been to three different paneras within different counties over the past week and I'm very disappointed with the recurring themes. 1) they usually mess up your order 2) EXTREMELY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE 3)never clean. The bad customer service is what gets me the most. I'm not looking to be catered to my every need. No. I'm just tired of dealing with rude cashiers who have attitude with me for no reason. I even try to lighten their mood and start a small conversation. But they don't even have the audacity to look at me. While they're taking my order they look in the distance, roll their eyes, and don't say anything. I don't understand why these people are so rude. Maybe they hate their job. But as long as they work for Panera they are representing the company. I'm not going to go to Panera for a long time because I'm tired of my mood being ruined every time I set foot into the establishment. I went for a reserve order not knowing the protocol and I showed the girl behind the counter my order number she looks at me like I'm crazy person then proceeds to point at my order on a book shelf . I take my order to the car I look in the bag and my order is wrong so I go back in the restaurant and as I'm walking up to the counter waitress and she and the girl behind the counter are talking about me I tell the manager my order is wrong . He ask me to see my phone to see if that is what I ordered . I said I didn't chilli I ordered a salad . The little waitress had to stock her nose in and say I order a chicken salad sandwich . Like didn't know what I ordered. These people were very condescending . I have been to thousands of restaurants in my life and I have never been treated like this . If it wasn't for the adult lady behind the counter asking me if I wanted a salad . I think I would have cancelled my order . I don't think I'll be going back to to that establishment. read more

I used to love going to Panera Bread. However, I noticed when the staff changes so does the quality of the food. The inconsistency really gets me. The younger staff seems to joke around in the kitchen too much. It makes me think they are playing around with my food behind the high counter they have in the back there. Panera Bread is a good place for a tasty sandwich - just not the Temecula Panera Bread. I was unhappy with my sandwich because the artichoke spread was loaded with big chunks of garlic. I spoke with the manager, and she was downright rude and told me I should have known it would contain garlic. I asked for my money back, gave her my receipt (paid for wiht my ATM card) and she didn't want to give my receipt back to me! I insisted, and finally she gave it back. That was the very last time we have ever stepped foot in Temecula Panera Bread. I've had two unsatisfactory experiences at Panera's. First one was an order of chicken salad with apples. The apples were dried chip apple. If they didn't have real apples they should have told me. Second was their egg white breakfast sandwich with cheese and avocado.. The small bagel was so tough i couldn't cut it in half. The worst experience with a manager in any place ever. I stopped in the women's room and it was so filthy- mold in toilets, looked like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. I went out and told the manager. He listened but didn't seem concerned, which was odd, so I figured I'd wait till after we ate. After, I went back in nothing changed. I couldn't believe it. So I asked him why no one cleaned it up, and he said he looked in there and it wasn't bad. Said it would probably clean itself if someone just flushed it. Shock! I told him I couldn't believe he had no care whatsoever. He said he'd been away about a week so that might be part of it. Then he said he may clean it up that night! I told him I took pictures and could post this. He said that's up to me. I wanted to get his name, but I couldn't remember it as it wasn't common. He was the manager. Panera is one of my eating-out staples. The food is always good and healthy and fresh tasting, but it is a little pricey, I must admit. Especially if you go in with 3 kids...it can get a bit steep when all you ordered for them was pb&j's and gogurts. But when it is just me...I always come out happy. I've tried all the salads (they're great, but my favorite is the greek- i like the cheese). The staff was nice and friendly, and the place looked clean. I ordered the bacon turkey bravo sandwich and a southwest chili lime ranch salad. The sandwich had miniscule turkey and the dressing was so sparingly applied that it was hardly visible, and you definitely could not taste it. The salad was supposed to have chicken and avocado on it, but both of these were not on it! It was meant to be a dinner salad, but the small size (probably because of the lack of chicken and avocado) was like having a small side salad... Usually Panera's great, but I recently had a bad experience and that just left me not wanting to go back. I was gifted a gift card, upon using it there it wouldn't work. So instead of just walking out we paid for the entire meal cash. They kept messing up on our meal. Later that night we let the person who gave the card to us know that it didn't work , but thank you . That person then proceeded to call Panera and the card company and we were promised a refund, a free meal and pastry. I then once again returned, they told me they couldn't do anything for me. I asked if I could at least get my free pastry since I didn't have time for the meal, I'd come back. Long story short I return for the fourth time after being told numerous times problem resolved. No I've been told that I had already received my free meal, my pastry and I was not able to be refunded. I almost feel like I was being called a liar. (Ok REALLY?! I'm going to drive 20 mins for a free meal and then 20 mins back home. No thank you . )I was told that if i felt that issue was resolved I could return on the following week. But WHY was I going to return for a Fifth time for something I have been promised that should've been resolved the second visit. Instead of helping me I had left frustrated and not happy. my wife and I came in today for a business meeting, while looking at the menu it seemed as if they were out of stock on a few things from the menu. it doesn't make sense to come in to a food restaurant and not and everything on the menu to eat. sounds like bad business choices. the people were nice that worked there. the food we did end up getting was good. I go here a lot because I live super close, but today they pissed me off again. Its probably the 3rd or 4th time it's happened, but today I was there before their self imposed 10:30 breakfast cut off and they wouldn't accommodate me. They have a wall of bagels, buckets of coffee and they can't scramble an egg @ 10:29? I guess my $10 or so I spend there several times a week wasn't worth the effort. We come here often for coffee and pastry which have always been good. If the creamer is low or empty it's promptly refilled. The staff, especially, Cari, is pleasant and friendly. On one occasion the tables in the far side needed cleaning for a period of time, otherwise, it's been nice and clean. read more

It was just an average experience. The employees don't seem very happy. The portion size of the salad was not adequate. The bread and cookie is the best part. Not impressed by the food; average.
