Service is alright but quality is lacking. I had to make numerous tries back to get my order correct. I ordered a sandwich without cheese but after pulling out of the parking lot found it was covered in cheese. I'm allergic so it isn't as simple as just pulling it off. We get that taken care of with the manager. She replaces the sandwich and gives me a cookie. I get out to the car and my daughter shows me her mac and cheese. The container is less than half full. I go inside and the manager assures me that's how it is supposed to be and gives me a small container of mac and cheese to go with our large but less than half full container. We decided to measure our large. We were able to fit the mac and cheese from the large into the small container. There was probably half a cup to 3/4 cup inside that large container. We paid $8.50 for less than a cup of mac and cheese. We won't be going back again. We have found the Yakima Panera is greatly lacking compared to other Paneras. read more

On my way back home today from Eastern WA, I stopped in Yakima and went to this Panera bread. Only to find out that the chick in the drive-through wasn't wearing any gloves and has long yucky fingernails while handing me my coffee and creamers and food! I drove around the corner and called the manager and he tells me that Panera Corporate says that the cashier doesn't have to wear any gloves!?? I then told him she should be putting my food in a bag and on a tray and handing it to me on top of that tray because we are still in the middle of a Pandemic! Today my boyfriend and walked in durning the middle of their lunch rush to try Yakima's new hotspot Panera Bread. We were expecting long lines, stressed staff and rushed food. But we were pleasantly suprised! We both got the pick two meal, mine a grilled cheese and Mac and cheese and his an Fuji Apple Chicken Salad and the Italian Combo sandwich. All of our food was delicious. My food was all the perfect level of hotness and fresh and his was crisp and chilled. We also got the mixed caremel frapp which was better than any coffee shop around and a cinnamon roll. For all that food it came out to barley 20 bucks. A pretty good deal if you ask me! The staff was awesome especially the busser. I think his name was brandan or Brennan. He helped answer our question about our food as well as just being super nice. Service was great but the food was super disappointing. Ordered the grilled Mac and cheese sandwich. My sandwich was not grilled in the slightest - didn't look like it had even been warmed up and the Mac and cheese was their normal Mac and cheese not grilled and cold like it just came out of the fridge. Shocked they would serve this. They also didn't give us a pager but instead said they'd call our name. Finally went up to check on our food and they asked for our pager. I like this place nice decor. Excellent food. I like how everything is real food with minimal additives and processing. If i was to base the stars solely on price it would be one star. Yesterday i had a bowl of onion soup 1/2 sandwich large fountain drink and a fruit cup. $17.79 no tip. I like how they have a lot of different tea options from no added sweetener to minimal. I always get the ginger hibiscus tea. A large drink lasts all day at work. read more

Me and the wife were looking for a place to eat lunch and decided on panera. Great choice as the food was delicious. I had the chipotle chicke sandwich with cheddar broccoli soup. A little over priced. I had the chipotle chicken avocado melt. Tasty but little for $10. My wife had the lentil quinoa bowl. Luckly she added the sandwich with it or she would have been hungry after, and it was $9. Decent flavor though. read more

I've ate there quite a couple times and their food is very good I have never had a problem with a great customer service and really high quality food you could go in anytime and just have whatever you wanted to give you a great customer service so that's a really good thing about Panera Bread read more

We have been to Panera Bread many times before, and as always, it was delicious. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean, the service is great, and the staff is friendly. We ordered two Italian sandwiches with the chicken Caesar salad and the cream of chicken and wild rice soup as sides. I had ordered my Italian sandwich with no mayo. Everything was delicious. The only thing is that when we got our food, our sandwiches were switched. It's not a big deal. I give Panera Bread a four out of five stars and would recommend. read more

I saw that commercial for the new mac n cheese sandwich I rushed to get my order placed and it was fast and friendly service......... but the sandwiches were cold. I went back to get it resolve. I was friendly they were friendly everyone was friendly to the max. They made nice and placed my order for the sandwich very quickly. The order getting out not as quickly... but once again they were nice, but the sandwiches were cold again I called and asked,( thinking they must be serving them as cold sandwiches so let me make sure that this is actually a hot sandwich) I was informed yes it is a hot sandwich or supposed to be served hot I was given a refund They asked me what could they possibly do to make up for the multiple times they got it wrong. I pointed to the sign that had the hot and delicious grilled mac & cheese sandwich in Fulbright display, and said I would love to have one of those. In the end the sandwich was me. The first attempts baffled me as to how you wouldn't heat up the mac & cheese before getting it on the bread, or at least have a better process of heating it up, if you're going to use ice cold mac & cheese on a sandwich and expect it to be hot! and melted! when you serve it. Over all my experience was pretty bad. I would not recommend the Yakima Panera bread to anyone . read more

I tried it out for the first time today. I ordered half a chicken ceaser salad and a lemonaide. It was the correct portion size and filled me up. First time here. Had heard good reviews. Left disappointed. Won't go back. Had broccoli, cheddar soup and it was pea warm,and a Chinese salad and was not impressed. Ask if their turkey sandwich had cranberries on it. She said no out if season...on the market there is delicious frozen a d canned cranberries. worst experience ever. tried to order via app and would not accept my order. i decided to call in (make sure you leave time for a 15 minute wait on hold). arrived to wait an additional 30 minutes in line as they only had two of the four cash registers working (although several staff member walking around with not much purpose). got to the counter and found out that some of my items were not available. took my order, without checking what was in the bag, and found out that when we checked at home some items were missing. feedback to the staff and website make no difference. they don't appear to care about customers. read more
