I stumbled upon this location while parking to look for dinner. I decided this over spicy Nashville style chicken that been the rave in town lately. I was greeted and instructed that it was self seating to the left hand side. I decided to sit at a table that was fractionally booth and chair. There is a mirror the spans half of the environment it adds an interesting ambiance and is visually pleasing in my opinion. There is art covering a portion of the room. What's for dinner? I went with the Charbroiled Chicken Shish Kabob, the strawberry date salad, and this time I decided to try the basmati rice. Feeling Sweet I decided to have a sweet treat. Went Tuesday during a lunch rush with my cousin and toddler. I first tried Panini Grill a few years back when they catered a lunch for staff at the school I was in a parent club in. I remembered loving how fresh everything tasted the first time I ate their food, and years later the food is still exactly how I first remembered it. I ordered the strawberry lemonade which is made in house and it was incredibly delicious! My cousin ordered the charbroiled chicken kabob, Basmati rice with the Strawberry Date Gorgonzola Salad (upcharge) and I ordered the Atlantic Salmon Kabob, Basmati Rice, and Greek salad. We shared the hummus trio. The Spicy Red Bell Pepper Hummus was our immediate favorite! Only request, more pita bread! My salmon was delicate and perfectly seasoned and incredibly fresh. The basmati rice is my absolute favorite. The only issue I came across was the service which I understood was difficult because there were only 2 servers and we arrived during the lunch rush. I did feel as though the table next to us received more attentiveness yet remained understanding of the time we arrived. 2.5 rating to be exact since i can't do half stars I was torn wether to give 2 or 3 Ugh!! I fell in love with Panini Kabob for their salmon kabob! So freakin delicious and perfectly cooked 90% of the time. I've been here quite a lot over the last several months and it was fantastic! Then unfortunately as with many other places consistency is a huge issue! Also it seems they have difficulties in following simple requests and completing orders properly. My last several to go orders every time i've ordered a salad with my kabob they forget the salad! I've lost count of how many salads they've left out Lol!! Whole salads just poof gone! WTF? Every time not even joking Lol! I laugh because it's baffling to me. It ain't cheap here which ok i'm not bitching but i expect to get what i pay for and not have to drive all the way back because of their screw ups every damn time. The last time was the final visit that really passed me off. And the reason it'll be a while before i go back. My son is allergic to fresh tomatoes. I requested his chicken wrap with no tomatoes due to allergy. Well the damn thing was loaded with tomatoes and barely any chicken and a ton of parsley like a ridiculous amount! Another WTF moment. I'm kinda obsessed with Panini Kabob Grill. I was scrolling DoorDash one day trying to figure out what to eat and this kept coming up as a recommended restaurant. I do like Mediterranean food. I love trying new restaurants. Free delivery? Done. I ordered the Chicken KaBox which included a skewer of the most tender, juicy, flavorful chicken, tomatoes, bell peppers, broccoli, and onions, all atop your choice of rice, plus a choice of hummus (I loooooove the edamame hummus!!) and pita bread as well! I'm now hooked and know what I'm having for lunch today lol. Unfortunately, the KaBoxes are only available for delivery or pickup and not for dine-in, which I learned the hard way. The ambiance of this restaurant is casual and not overdone, and the staff is very friendly and responsive. I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered the dining room. The food is delicious! Full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and very moist. The shrimp was divine! Pita bread was fresh and warm and I could have munched on the Mediterranean Greek salad all day, it was so fresh and crisp! We started out with the falafel appetizer plate. There were six very fresh falafel balls, served warm with tzatziki, hummus, delicious pita bread triangles, and salad. There was more than enough for the three of us. My friend Shannon tried the lentil soup. I didn't capture a picture of it but she said it reminded her of her grandmothers lentil soup. (I took that to be a compliment!) Our main orders when they came out were stunning! Bright fresh food served at just the right temperature. They use quality ingredients. My chicken shish kabob was very tender and juicy, seasoned perfectly. The salad was very crunchy, zesty, and sprinkled with the perfect amount of feta cheese and Greek olives. (Did I mention I LOVED the Greek salad??!!) Sanam and Shannon both ordered shrimp kabobs and I had to try one, they looked so succulent! I came in for lunch, ordered the steak panini and it did not have any flavor at all. I had high expectations for the price but one side of the bread was soggy. The meat was dry, lacked seasoning. The outdoor seating is nice. My waitress was nice but she didn't come back out to check if I needed anything or bring me the check. I've tried multiple local Mediterranean restaurants and while this one is fresh and new it doesn't top the list for best in town. I ordered the kabob place with basmati rice. Most other places basmati rice is flavored with great spices and that signature yellow seasoning. This plate was plain white basmati rice with a couple tablespoons of flavored rice. Most other locations give you salad and hummus along with pita. This plate only comes with the kabobs and rice. So I also ordered the appetizer combo. The Cabrera salad was two slices of tomato and two slices of cheese with pesto. The falafels were tiny. Everything for the appetizers was flavorful but serving wise-they skimp compared to other restaurants. The online order option was convenient. My family and I were buying a car down the street at the Nissan dealership and got the recommendation from one the finance guys to come here after a few long hours of car buying excitement. I was immediately struck by how packed and popular this place was on a Saturday afternoon. The place was well-lit, well located and they had a pretty big variety of healthy dishes to choose from. Yes, this place is vegetarian friendly. We got the hummus trio platter and the caprese- both were very good. I ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich and a side Caesar salad. I was surprised by how freakin' good both my sandwich and salad were! Super fresh and big portions, so it's totally worth the money we spent on our meal. We were there on Sunday waiting for a table for a large party a server with red hair needs to work on her customer service. When you walk in it states wait to be seated so people wait in the front and they'll yell at you across the restaurant to tell you were to sit, personally doesn't look professional. We had a male his Hispanic server super nice when we paid and I was packaging our left overs there was a hair at the bottom of the plate the manager came to tell me all the workers have hair nets so basically to me that was like her telling me it has to be from y'all not us. Chicken kabobs can be tricky, because if they are grilled for two long, they get dry and rubbery. It was over 2 hours before I could get to it. My picture shows a portion of my dish. The chicken pieces and vegetables had the right amount of char. Chicken was juicy and tasty. Grilled vegetables were also moist and flavorful. And rice was just right. What a treat! First, it's a clean, beautiful, sunny restaurant. Everything is spotless. And the staff is well trained and very welcoming and helpful. The appetizers, each one is a whole meal! I had the capres, impeccably fresh ingredients, freshly baked pita. Very happy! Main course was grass fed lamb kabob. Again the portion is more than generous! Let me start this review of by saying that I'm half Persian, so I've gotten the chance to know what a good kabob is. I only tried the Beef Koobideh Kabob when I went, and I thought it was pretty good. It certainly wasn't the best that I have had, but for the price you really can't go wrong. My brother ordered the Beef Koobideh Kabob entree and I ordered the Koobideh Wrap. I thought that my wrap was a nice twist on the traditional way of eating kabob. The portions are huge, so I suggest sharing with someone else. The reason that this review has such a low rating is the service. Our waitress was terrible. From the start, she had a bad attitude and seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. I was very confused by this, because I saw her interactions with other tables and she was friendly to them. When I was deciding between two items on the menu and asked for her opinion, she replied with a very sarcastic answer and did not answer my question. She never came to check on us during the meal, not even once. At one point my brother wanted to order a water and I waved her down to ask for one. She made eye contact with me for a few seconds and then chose to ignore me and kept on walking away. I had to call out to her to ask for a water and then she seemed annoyed that I was asking her for one. I was very exasperated by this. At the end of the meal, we were trying to get our check but she was very hard to get a hold of. I ended up asking someone else for it, but she managed to get my waitress's attention. We waited for close to fifteen minutes at the end of our meal to get the check, and then it took even longer for her to pick it up and return it. The service was extremely disappointing.
