One negative thing is that they have bunch of random employees who don't even know what kabob is and it's hard to communicate with them Farsi. There should be more Persian restaurants in this area. Food: Ordered the Chicken Shish Kabob with broccoli and rice. The chicken and veggies on the kabob were delicious, and well marinated. The broccoli was "grilled" and tough, would of been better if they had just steamed it to be honest. The rice, is just rice. The wife ordered the Jumbo Shrimp Kabob. You get about 6 jumbo shrimps, and they too are quite delicious. The only difference is that you will not get many veggies with your shrimp kabob compared to the chicken kabob. I took off a star because I was a little bummed that the dish was not served with pita, toum, or hummus. I think those three would of made it even better, but it is what it is. Location: Parking kind of sucks here. The whole plaza kind of sucks for parking, so nothing new there. My suggestion is to park a little further and walk it in, exiting the plaza may be easier. While the apparent store manager agreed to remake the order as the original order was thrown out, the manner in which she spoke to me was extremely condescending and belittling. You can easily fill up with it. - Family Style originally 3 Skewers with Chicken and Vegetables, Basmati Rice, and 2 Salads, We have modified it as follows - 2 Chicken Kabob - Wonderful, super tender and tasty chicken breast. - 2 Beef Koobideh Kabob - Great, not so salty but tasty ground beef kabob. - 1 Shrimp Kabob - Good, it wasn't too dry and the size was huge. - 1 Salmon Kabob - Good, perfectly cooked with just a little lack of flavor. - Basmati Rice - Great, it is perfectly prepared and matches the Kabobs. - 2 Greek Salad - Great, it has most of the Greek Salad ingredients with perfect dressing. Two of us arrived before 5:30 pm on a Monday- 2 tables on the patio were occupied as were several indoors. We asked for an outdoor table and were offered a small table- I asked for a larger table and were told they have to hold those tables for 3 or more people- even indoors. They were not busy, I don't understand why we could not be accommodated. Food was mediocre- all in need of seasoning. Best thing on the table was the tzatziki. Iced tea was cloudy and tasted like it had been sitting around for days. It was difficult to fit all the table wear on the small table we were given. And oh, did I mention the dirty plate I was given? No problem- we put things we didn't need and had no room for on the adjacent larger table we were originally refused. They lost two customers- we won't be back! In today's economy they should do all they can to accommodate customers, ensure table wear is clean, and food is well prepared. Came here for lunch this last Saturday in the early afternoon. The place is pretty small but more spacious than expected; there is an outdoor patio seating area or indoors. We chose to sit inside since it was incredibly hot, I'm glad there was no wait time and we were saved by the AC from the heat. Our waitress was kind but we could tell the waiters/waitresses looked overwhelmed by the number of guests which is incredibly understandable! Our waitress was still attentive and helped us out as needed. We both ordered the charbroiled chicken shish kabob which was mostly good. We could tell that the chicken wasn't cooked all the way on the inside since it was slightly red. The rice taste average and the salad was pretty good. I can only speak for take out not dine in. DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT FROM THIS LOCATION. So normally I wouldn't waste time writing a review for a small error. However, this time, the attitude of the staff was completely out of line. I placed a very large order the night before. I went to pick it up after calling them to make sure it'll be ready a bit earlier than the planned time. They said it's fine. I get there and a gentleman in the white asks me the name on the order and hands me a bag. He repeats the order to me. I confirm a second time, and ask "is everything in the bag" he says "yup everything is there and your salad is at the top the shelf" I said great, took the bag and the salad and accepted his words. On the way home they call my sister who placed the order for me and say "that guy who picked up the order just walked out without getting the other trays" now, mind you, the gentleman didn't say anything about other trays and there was no other trays near the salad. I would've taken them and had no reason not to. This is where it gets crazy. I come back and tell the manager what happened then some server in black says he served me and told me to get the trays and now there's 3 new trays under where the salad was. I said no it wasn't you but the manager didn't believe me or say a word. No offer to check the cameras. No accepting of responsibility. No apology. They just say a miscommunication happened. The guy in the black kept blaming me and I'd never met him before. I realized these guys are trying to gaslight me after placing a half a grand order. I realized they don't want to improve their service or take any responsibility and told them I'll never be back. No apology no help, nothing. All I wanted was something like "sorry sir, we didn't realize it, we didn't mean to blame you, we'll do out best to never have it happen again" but no. They aren't capable of good service. I'll never be back, as I told them while they can that blank stare on their faces. I still can't believe it. Food was half and half, koobideh was good but skirt steak was inedible! The food was fine, but we usually avoid this location because the wait is much longer than other PKG restaurants. This is one is too small and tends to be understaffed. Also, the tables are so close together it feels like you're dining with strangers.
