Food is so good here! They give you big portions for what you pay for. We ordered the chicken kabob plate, salmon kabob plate, pita & hummus, kid's chicken plate, strawberry lemonade & arnold palmer. Everything was good! The drinks are not sweet like how they usually should be so we added multiple sugar packets. No wait on a Monday afternoon. Very clean. Their service is slow though & can be improved. The guy sat us & gave us our menus and didnt come back for 15-20 mins to take our order or give waters. & they were not busy at all. My mom and I visited this location Sunday morning. There was no wait. Our server gave us fast friendly service and although it started to get busier as we ate our meals , she did not miss a beat ! We did have one little issue with my mom's meal , it had the wrong salad. The server said she would let her manager know and I thought oh here we go, it's going to take a long time and her food will be cold by the time they get this figured out . Not even a minute later , the manager, Nancy , brought out the correct salad and a yummy hummus and pita . She apologized for the mix up and was so kind to us . Our food was delicious! Gave this place a try after many people suggested however I wasn't too satisfied. We sat outside and I'd have to say the waiter wasn't very impressive to say the least. We asked him for napkins twice, got nothing. Plus, our food and the table next to us food got served with no silverware. The server walked away so quickly we didn't even have time to think about asking. I ordered a Merlot and it was so cheap and nasty tasting not that I was expecting anything super fancy but this was rough. The spicy prawn linguine tasted very fishy and the prawns were served really cold. I've never had fishy flavored noodles before. The steak panini was not good at all. I took literally one bite and had a bad taste in my mouth for hours afterwards. The only thing that was pretty good that we tried was the pesto chicken panini, that was decent. The service was, well they forgot about us, we sat for a while outside area. Not once did they check on us. It is sad because the food is sooo good. I don't think they do any of them they way they should. I guess they have to cater to the customer but to me it's like a strange mish mash. Like chicken kabob and you can get a Caesar salad with it ? I always get the chicken shish kabob with the bulgar pilaf and Mediterranean Greek salad. The chicken is cooked perfectly: it is so soft and tender you really enjoy every single bite. I randomly stumbled upon this location for lunch one day, and it was worth every penny. I ordered the beef kabob and it was absolutely fantastic. Their basmati rice was flavorful some might say goated. I really enjoyed the seasoning of their beef kabobs and they had one of the best tzatziki sauces rivaling my experiences in the east coast in New York. I am pretty sure the beef they use there is halal but don't quote me. This place is a comfortable dine but it definitely has an upscale vibe. My service was excellent as well. Ok, let's establish this, the restaurant is where the old Ruby's was in the Tyler mall. They really have fixed it up, it is really nice looking all done in wood paneling and soft lighting. They even have a wine bar, and a good wine and beer menu, it's very pretty. Second, it took quite a while for the waiter to approach our table, our party wasn't complete but it really took a long time for anybody to even come over and check on us. Third, we were going to be going to a movie but I thought an hour and 10 minutes would be plenty of time... NOT. We had to rush our food because we didn't get our food until we had been there about 40 - 45 minutes. This is a problem if you have a movie time to make. There is also a beautiful dessert menu that we didn't even get to look at. Fourth, I have to say despite my other complaints the food is exceptional. My son had the stuffed pepper - it was phenomenal. I had the steak shish kebab, the meat was lean cooked perfectly, needed seasoning though. But it was good quality!! My daughter had a falafel wrap, this was mediocre. The pita was meh, we also had the tzatziki which was really really good. So... all in all the big problem was how long it took to get our food. I really wish they could rectify this because given its location this would be a perfect place to go before movies. Also they have a dynamite vegetarian section which is a real plus. This review is based on service. I checked in and waited 30 min for a table, this was no problem. They called us and sat us. They left us sitting for 15 min before anyone came to take our drink/food order. By the time they came, we had our drink and food order ready. Then waited 20 min before our drinks (iced tea & lemonade) came, and that was after I flagged someone down to ask about our drinks. Food took another 15 min to come out for 2 people. We had placed our order with the drinks! They finally brought our food but no utensils. They just dropped the food and ran off without checking in or even asking if we needed anything. I waited & waited, then had to ask someone cleaning if we could get utensils. He brought them quickly. The waiter never came to check on us or offered refills. Others near us were waiting a long time as well and looked frustrated. When we were done and ready for the check, I had to flag someone down and ask for our check. At that point, they offered drinks to go. These waiters were just walking nonchalantly back and forth with a tablet and menus..... Never attentive, I never saw them look around at their tables or check in with anyone. The food was great, but if the service is bad, I'd rather eat somewhere else. Where to start on this one? if possible I would have given no stars as this would be more accurate and appropriate. First we have eaten at the Rancho Cucamonga, Brea and Irvine Panini restaurants and have experienced wonderful service and food. However the experience at the Riverside location was the worst we have ever experienced at any restaurant both in California and abroad. In short we had human hair in our food (please see attached photos), took close to 2 hours to receive our food and pay the bill when there was the patio had minimal occupancy. The final straw being was that the manager on duty tried to justify the hair saying it was part of the cooks hair net, UNBELIEVABLE! Below is an account of what transpired. There are MANY more restaurant options in the Riverside area where you don't have to be concerned about hair in your food and reasonable service. 1. seated 2. Had to wait about 8-10 minutes for the waitress to come by. 3. Waitress took our drink and bread order 4. Received drinks and bread in about 5 minutes 5. Wife joined us, waitress came by in about 10 minutes 6. Waitress took my wife's drink order and another order for bread. 7. Waited for about 15-20 minutes, no waitress. 8. Went and spoke with manager and explained to him how long we had been waiting and my wife still had not received her water 9. He explained that our waitress was out on a break so there we are waiting without a waitress! 10. After about another 15-:20 minutes our food arrives. 11. I noticed that my flat iron steak had an hair in it (took a picture) 12. Spoke with the manager about this. He looked at it, tried to play it down and left to get a replacement 13. 30-35 minutes later I got my steak 14. I mentioned the long wait and the manager tried saying it was only about av20 minute wait. 15. I informed him I timed when he left to when my food arrived. 16. Finally, the manager only removed the steak that had the hair but charged us for everything else 17. This whole ordeal took so long that by the time we left, the section that previously was fully occupied was left to only us as we were the only ones in the section. read more

Great service and great food. The wait can be a bit long, mostly on weekends. This is located inside the mall. So it's normal for long wait times. Try to be patient with the staff, they truly are working as hard as they can. We got the humus platter, and a kabob combo. The kids got the rice, chicken and broccoli meal. Everything was delicious. The white sauce that comes on the side is a perfect addition to the plate. Totally recommend, walk around the mall while you wait and they will text you when your table is ready. read more

The Tofu Kabob plate was delicious! The portions are huge and I love that there were several options for rice and salad. There was a nice variety of grilled vegetables on the kabob and they were perfectly cooked. My favorite item was the Appetizer Sampler. The Edamame Hummus was fantastic! The Garbanzo Hummus was also really good. My group of 17 came here for lunch. We called ahead to ask if they could accommodate a group our size and our tables were ready for us when we got there. I've been coming here for years and they never fail to serve good food, give great service and a good ambiance. We had Angela today as our server and she was the kindest person! She took such good care of us and was attentive. The food was very delicious. It was my first time trying their chicken pesto panini because I am a creature of habit and normally order the same thing. However, Angela recommend this plate and it was a hit to say the least! The portions here are huge so expect to possibly have some leftovers for later. Also if you've never had the edamame hummus or strawberry date salad here you are missing out. Ordered food from here before my lunch break and the email gave me an estimated time for pick up that was not accurate. I had to wait an extra 25 mins before my food was ready and took my entire lunch break. I called after to speak to a manager and was put on hold for another 10 minutes. I asked to either get a refund or possibly get a voucher for the extra time spent waiting and the manager said she couldn't do anything. Very poor customer service, I mentioned if there was an email for corporate to possibly help me with the situation and she said the email would just be sent directly to her.
